Coming up Broadway from Madison Square Park and stopped in to Traiditas to try it out. Grabbed a $4 Plain Cheese Slice to stop an eat at one of their tables. For the price, my Traditas slice was disappointing. The crust, while thin, was more chewy. The cheese and sauce were not impressive and slightly salty. Don't plan on returning considering a short 2 1/2 blocks up Broadway is Upside Pizza with an identically priced 4 buck classic slice that was clearly superior! Recommend you take the time to go to Upside on the corner of W. 30th & Broadway instead! read more

This has got to be my new favorite NYC pizza place! We were visiting the store next door and we saw that people kept coming and going out of this place. The smell of freshly baked pizza finally lured us in and next thing we knew, we were in line to order. The worker was very friendly and he took our orders fast. We ordered one slice each of the following: White sauce pizza Caesar salad pizza Chicken bacon ranch ALL THREE SLICES WERE HEAVEN. The pizza itself had a nice crisp to it and it was baked to perfection. Each slice was flavorful, contained gooey cheese, and was a good size. I cant wait to be back and eat some more! Newer pizza joint serving up super delicious pizza. I opted for a personal pepperoni pizza well done and it hit the spot perfectly. The pizza was thin crust and had the right ratio of sauce to cheese, which resulted a well tasting pie. The guys working there were super cool. Tradita's Pizza was a recommend from the Front Desk. A good place to go to when you're just tired and don't want to go too far away to eat on a very cold night. Tradita's Pizza is a place around the corner from ALoft. The small venue is a nice, quiet place in a not too touristy area. The staff was friendly and the pizza was pretty good. First of all this place is very clean for a grab and go pizza slice spot. It's also in one of NY's coolest neighborhoods, NoMad. They also have great flavors and different types of pizza slices! I don't care what pizza aficionados think, I loved the penne pasta with vodka sauce on pizza. I also love ranch on my pizza so I'm no pizza purist what so ever. The penne vodka sauce pizza was fantastic! The flavors were great and the portion size was just right. They layer enough on the slice so it's not overwhelming and it still tastes like a pizza. I also got a grandpa slice which is a square slice with mozzarella and sauce. Ranch sauce is $1.00 which feels very common. And all the condiments like peppers and parm cheese are randomly scattered through the place so you may have to ask your neighbor who you're sitting next to for the cheese or peppers. They also have grab and go salads which I might try next time to be healthy lol. You can tell they use quality ingredients because I had two slices and I didn't feel full and like crap afterwards. Of course, it's way more pricey than the 1.99 spots or even the 2 for 1 places. But it's worth it if you're looking for uniqueness, taste and quality. I don't think this is the only location as well.
