I had a wonderful experience at Hobby Lobby that turned into an unexpected life lesson for my…read moredaughter. My daughter and I visit often, but this time she went in first to pick up yarn for a project she's working on. I joined her about five minutes later, and of course, she had already gathered as many mini balls of yarn as she could & luckily, they were 30% off! After shopping, we headed to the checkout, and my daughter, who's 15 and learning how to manage her own money, wanted to pay for her items herself. Her total was around $120, but she accidentally handed the cashier $220. Without hesitation, the cashier kindly returned the extra $100, and my daughter hadn't even realized she overpaid. I was so impressed by the cashier's honesty and how calmly they handled the situation. It turned a simple shopping trip into a real-world lesson about responsibility, awareness, and integrity. I'm deeply grateful to that cashier for being so thoughtful and honest... it really made an impact. Thank you, Hobby Lobby, for hiring such amazing people.

As it came time to make the closing announcement at 7:45 there was a professional announcement and literally 2 seconds later an announcement from a store employee then another one five minutes later. 3 announcements in 5 minutes seems to be much. After his horrible customer service, we continued to try and purchase over 400 dollars in merch and their system was down, he gave me an explanation about the local Internet connection so I asked for clarification and was told a completely different reason. I asked for a corporate number to find out myslef what was going on since his intelligence level is that of a squirrel. He tells me to look it up online, I directly ask him to provide me with a number and he said he didn't have it. Disgusting behavior for an employee, no less a manager. I leave and call thier "customer service" in the parking lot. After 45 minutes they try to compensate me with 1500 gamestop points. Fifteen dollars.............15 bucks? Wasting 4 dollars in toll and 5 in gas, wasting my time and being treated with such little respect or at very least paying attention when a customer is speaking with you......in the end the did absolutely nothing. Why continue to buy from them? Console deals all major competitors match them, games as well, used stuff same thing with most of them now or the pawn shop, collectibles and clothes all cheaper online competitors, comic shops, pawn shops. When the guys with the ties start to see their bonuses dwindle is when they will do something, Lucky for them they have the addicted gamers that fill their pockets without remorse no matter how bad they're treated.

The staff are some of the most polite people ever. You are greeted as soon as you enter. No matter how busy it is. This store is located in a strip mall with a Sally's hair salon, Walmart and now my new favorite store Bulk Nation. It has been here even longer than I can remember. It has seen better times. As soon as you enter, you are hit with a display rack of Pokemon shirts. To the left on the wall is their clearance type items that either need someone to organize it of it was just picked through. On the right along the walls is the games for sale. It just feels cluttered and needs some revamping. The store would benefit from a good cleaning and reorganizing. The only reason not a 5 is with all the clutter it makes the store feel really cramped. Prices are reasonable and the clearance items prices were good. 33/365 in 2017 challenge
