This store obviously has liquor. Seemed like more wine than hard liquors in the aisles. Plenty of beers and some sparkling wines in the refrigerators. As expected, there are also lotto tickets and scratchers for sale. The lady behind the counter was a member of the family that owns the store and was very pleasant. She seemed familiar with some "regulars" who walked in while I was there, which I always count as a positive sign. There are also some staple groceries like eggs, milk, juice, and ICE! Plus disposable plates, napkins, plastic cutlery, BBQ charcoal-- your party supply center :) And there are some pretty unexpected household goods / convenience store type merch in the aisles. I was a little...um...surprised to see some stuff, like baby toys, that appear to have been here for some time. Like, from the 1990s or so... Nothing edible, just toys and stuff. Anyhow, there's a lot to see here. Come check it out, if for no other reason than to satisfy your curiosity.

They've gotten to know us, and our tastes and they always make great recommendations, as well as setting up some very interesting tastings. And, for the non-wine drinker, they've also got a selection of craft beers and ciders. WINES: Ben's shop carries a great selection of wines, focusing on small batch producers, "unique" varietals, organic wines, natural wines, biodynamic wines, certified carbon neutral wines, and local wines. You can do a tasting or purchase a glass or bottle to enjoy onsite. There's a tasting bar up front, as well as bar top tables inside, and a spacious patio outside. I feel that bottle prices are very reasonable, and we usually end up leaving with 5 or 6 bottles based on our tastings and Ben's recommendations. There's on street parking in the front, as well as a small parking lot in the rear. I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try when in the area. NOTE: They don't serve food, however Woodhaus Pizza is right next door and you're more than welcome to pick up something there or bring in your own munchies.

First time I thought he was a pain in the ass, going back & forth thru the aisles acting like he's stocking, cleaning or just boldly stands there staring you straight in the eye. So it's obvious he has major paranoia issues & doesn't trust anyone coming in the store unless they're related or friends. What terrible business practices he's getting away with discriminating customers, and a hostile shopping experience by harassing customers with piercing intimidation. 2nd time was our last time. Even though they have a good selection, we rather go where customers are valued as well as respected and not treated like criminals ready to steal. Must have been a different owner or person running it 5 years ago for the one 5 star review.

For you more serious drinkers they also sell every brand and size of gin, rum, whiskey and tequilla from party size to kickin' back a few after a hard day. Their snack section has everything from Snickers to Takis fuego flavored chips. And for the male clientele there are a wide assortment of nekkid lady magazines up front for your perusing pleasure. But the reason I love this place the most is it stays open past 11 pm when everything else in Yucaipa is locked up tight.
