Same Trader Joe's groceries and goods, but SPACIOUS! No more needing to turn sideways and crab walking to reach your favorite pasta sauce during the evening rush. Produce has consistently been good quality, shelves stay neatly stocked. The endcaps are always good for inspiration-- I definitely fall prey to those impulse buys. Lol For now it basically has its own parking lot, which is a nice change from most TJs locations where people are circling for a spot like vultures. Spaces are nice and wide, which is great for all the giant trucks in Yucaipa. :-) Fingers crossed that the parking situation stays good! My only gripe is that a few times the younger staff work ethic at this location has seemed a little below the normal TJs standard. Ex: During a rush, I'm used to seeing available staff head to the registers to ring people up and bag their groceries so the lines go quickly and don't back up. I've been in a few times where that hasn't happened and it feels weird waiting in a longer line at TJs. By and large though, the staff is great. They'd be A++ at Albertsons but I hold TJs staff to a higher standard. So not *really* an issue, just me being fussy. read more

I went yesterday 8/11 to do some grocery shopping for my very first time by myself as a mom. I had my 2 month old strapped to my chest and I was standing in line to checkout, when a gentleman came and took me to the front of the line when my baby started to fuss. Not only that but he called on an associate to help take my bags to the car. Nobody knew how stressed I was being out by myself with a newborn, I can't begin to explain how much that eased my day! My wife and I literally watched this place turn from an unknown construction to rumors to officially opening day of Trader Joe's! Building took place early last year and my wife was tipped off by one of the Panera workers that the ultimate final form would be a Trader Joe's (and a shopping mall with a chicken joint and a Kaiser in the back). Today, it felt surreal walking in the store. It is the traditional Trader Joe's offering Speculoos, everything but the bagel snacks, and other delectable unique treats. This store seems extra spacious. Even though there wasn't the traditional murals and decor, this Trader Joe's is STILL AMAZING. Everyone was also super friendly and said hello with a bright smile! There were a lot of people but it was quite spacious with ample parking. Unfortunately, my bank account will take a toll with all the snacks I bought today. read more

One of the new stores in Southern California for Trader Joe's. I have had the chance to visit many different Trader Joe's locations and this location has a huge parking lot unlike locations in Los Angeles. This store has more room than others making shopping easier though it was very busy on the Saturday I visited. This location opened on August 21st 2025. The store itself is bright, has a great selection and friendly employees. This location is on the IE and I find chicken for example to be a better value at Aldi. Trader Joe's wins on many branded products, along with a great selection of salame you will not find at a better price. The prices seem to be like other locations. The flower department is located inside the store as you walk in. The prices and selection is very good. The center includes many different food spots and a car wash. This is one of my favorite new Trader Joe locations. read more

Wanted to leave a review cuz I think these noodles have potential but are missing the mark (or maybe just for me). I followed the instructions & not sure if there were some missing steps (like if you have culinary experience or not), but felt that the noodles were a little too chewy. I guess you could consider it "al dente". I also felt that the sesame paste (& maybe I was meant to emulsify it beforehand w the sauce before adding it to the noodles) was too bitter/harsh & didn't really compliment the flavor of the spicy garlic sauce all that well. it was also separated & not really a combined paste, more so like a hard paste with separated oil, maybe it was originally combined, but eventually separated in its packaging, maybe this messed up the process. I might've opted maybe for just sesame oil instead or roasted seeds, or maybe if a stabilizer could prevent separation, it would allow for better mixing/emulsion w the spicy garlic sauce & the flavors to combine better than they did when i made it (& prevent the bitterness of the sesame paste from being too harsh). I loved the garlic sauce tho, had a little bit trickle on my finger & it tastes really good! It also does cling onto the noodles, the only problem was I felt like there was not nearly enough of it. Felt like disappointed noodles or diet noodles even when you remove the sesame paste from the equation. Still have 2 noodles left, might try combining the sauces together in a hot pan before adding the noodles to see if it helps. Hope this helps the recipe testers! read more

Bf lives in Redlands and discovered this new Trader Joe's. We love Trader Joe's but each store varies in overall experience. Living in L.A., I have the Silver Lake location and West Hollywood that I frequent, favoring the WeHo one, but this location in Yucaipa is the best experience so far. The parking lot is vast and not cramped, and inside the store, the layout is open and not claustrophobic like the ones in L.A. Service was also friendly and helpful. I wish all TJ's were like this one. They also were so fully stocked and organized. I wish the stores in L.A. were like this one. read more

The only TJs I've ever been to with a huge parking lot! The employees are very friendly and helpful. And know their stuff. The usual assortment of TJ food, and well stocked. This location seems so far to be less crowded than most. read more

So happy this location opened up! This Trader Joe's location will be my new go-to. The Trader Joe's at Redlands and Riverside are almost always overcrowded and overwhelming, aisles are tight and i quickly feel overstimulated. But the Yucaipa location has stood out for its spacious aisles and thoughtful layout. It's clean, bright, service is friendly as all Trader Joe's, and i love the fresh, new-store scent lol. read more

I really love this place. Before, I would go to Trader Joe's once in a while. Now that it is closer to where I live, I go weekly. I love all the unique, healthier options for food that they offer. I also love the fresh flowers. Right now is tulip season, so having fresh tulips in my house is wonderful. I also love the prices of items. The employees are friendly and go above and beyond. Perfectly executed so far-plenty of parking, extra wide aisles and comfortable size, all the great items everyone loves. Friendly and helpful staff. Love that it's at the bottom of the blvd-so convenient for those of us in the eastern portion of Redlands. read more
