The main reason why we go is for the pan dulce, which is tasty and the sizes are great. My personal favorite is the bolillo with cream cheese and jalapeño, especially when it's fresh. We have also tried the tamales, which were absolutely massive and full of meat. Everyone here is respectful and kind, and quick to get you in and out of the store with what you need. If you enter heading west on Oak Valley Parkway, you feel you like might be going in through an exit, especially the road is stripped oddly. Turning on Golf Club Drive, you have to drive past the grassy median and it makes you feel like you're going in the back way. Still, it's super bright and shiny so you can't miss it. If you're fond of the Circle K app and all its benefits, you won't be able to use it at this Circle K. They aren't part of the corporate circle of Circle K's (see what I did there?), but an independent operation. It's not a deal breaker for me, but something to keep to mind. Otherwise, the store well laid out and seem bigger than your average Circle K. I've always wished Circle K did more in the way of hot food, but that's just a decision they've made. If you're stopping there for water, I highly recommend the tall skinny bottle of Circle K water. It's just a nicer bottle to hold and the flip lid makes it easy to drink while driving.

Here's the chronology: First, the sign clearly said at the front register " $1 off per gallon if you join our rewards club with the app. It was a handwritten sign right next to the register, not a corporate Chevron sign. So we said, what the heck might as well sign up to get a dollar off per gallon. NOPE! THAT'S FALSE ADVERTISING. WHAT THIS CHEVRON REALLY MEANS IS YOU GET $1 OFF FROM YOUR NEXT THREE FILLS BUT YOU HAVE TO BUY A MINIMUM OF 8 GALLONS. SOMETHING LIKE THAT. So the handwritten sign that somebody put at the register is clearly designed to trick you and get you signed up for nothing more than your personal information disclosed for marketing reasons. You get nothing in return, this time, as the handwritten sign stated. There is no $1 immediate discount! Second of all, the fool clerk, did something to the pump that we had to go inside four times to get her to reset it. Never had that problem at any gas station anywhere! Then the kid, probably the assistant manager, said we were doing something wrong. Finally they came out again and admitted there's something technically wrong with the pump 13, and we needed to move to another pump. So we did. They also did not have any sauces for their sandwiches other than the little packaged ones and their mustard and ketchup bottles looked disgusting and were empty. This is NOTHING like the Chevron and Unocal on Oak Valley where they are friendly and efficient! IT'S THE PITS! Also, we didn't see any flexfuel/ethanol. One more thing they don't supply any boxes for your food like the other gas stations do. And there were no medium lids for cups. So you're left carrying food and drink out with your hands along with your keys your wallet etc. That's total boloney! Obviously, this place is poorly run. It's pretending to be professional. NOT!. Not impressed at all and won't return.
