I like going to Trader Joe's because it is not your traditional grocery store. The feel is different, the set up is vibrant and they always have different items. The prices are low. I saw lot of products for health conscious folks. Staff is very friendly and helpful. While writing this review, I just realized that all Trader Joe's locations that I have visited until now have good parking space. That's another plus!

I can't begin to say how kind every employee was just upon entering the store. From the greeters outside to the cashiers inside. One cashier stood out in general tonight, in the best of ways. I was just talking about dealing with Covid, and being a cancer survivor how weary I am about shopping but love Trader Joe's. Well, the cashier, Mike almost made me cry. He asked me what my favorite flower was and walked me over to the flower section and asked me to choose one. It really touched my heart. I have a toddler son, and I hope one day I raise him to be as sweet and caring as Mike was. I was really touched by such a sweet gesture and it just made my night.

I just come if I'm in the area and need to pick up a few things. Staff is ok that I've encountered. There's obviously grocery stores that are cheaper as well. The bathrooms here aren't bad as well but not the nicest, Over all the vibe of this place good in a pinch if you are in the area to grab a few things.

My mother who is 90 years old has been shopping at Stop and Shop for at least 30-40 years. To this day she still spends $175-$200 per week. We put in her order every week online for delivery. Stop and Shop asks for specific instructions for the driver, we fill it out every week to be delivered to her door, 2nd floor in an apartment. She also includes the tip online and the 1 time in the last 7 weeks the driver followed the instructions and my mother gave him an additional cash tip. Yes, you read that right once out of the last 7 times. Drivers have been rude and have blatantly ignored her request a couple of them just said no, but still got their online tip. Today was the last straw not only did the driver drop them in the lobby and then ignore her call. The bags were ripped and damaged. She had to go down 3 times with her small cart take the groceries out of the damaged bags an take the up with the cart. Like I said shes 90 years old with 2 bad knees., its just not right. Tomorrow, I will call again for the 8th time, I dont want a gift card, I want them to refund her $15 tip is all. We will move on from Stop and Shop. I know they really dont care, because they have enough sheep that go in there on a weekly basis. Pay their high prices to get treated in this way. I dont Shop there for my family as I said prices are high and selections are low. I have tried to convince my mother to stop shopping there and today she finally sees why. They dont care. Dont put driver instructions online if they aren't going to follow them. I am going to put this information everywhere I can. So if you have elderly parent(s) or a disabled family member. Take my advice Look elsewhere! Or do what I'm going to do, just Shop for her (NOT AT STOP AND SHOP). Dont believe what they tell you on the phone, all the fake niceties, they dont mean it its all BS.

I've lived about four miles away from this place for the past six years, and yet I had NO IDEA that…read moreit existed. A vegetarian-based, organic market? Close to my hood? The idea blew my mind. The only reason I actually discovered this place was because I was on the Sweet 'n' Sara vegan marshmallow website, looking for a local place where I could procure these little delicacies (other than Whole Foods). And Green Street Natural Foods popped up. I dropped by one afternoon, mid-week, and was so, so happy with my findings. All sorts of vegetarian specialties (not the least of which was my favorite marshmallow!) and organic produce. Even vitamins! And the dude working there was super nice, super helpful, and made me feel good about shopping there. He even said he'd order Blue Mango veggie burgers, by my request. I'm thrilled that I actually found out about this shop. I will frequent it often, especially in the June-November months, since my CSA pick-up location is nearby. Psyched.

You can also ask for a sample before you're committed. You don't want a jar of store bought tahini? They make fresh by the pound too. My recipe called for a tiny portion so he was cool when I asked for a small dollop. If you want local honey, guess what? They have them here too (regular and darker color). Plenty of CBD gummies, seeds, spices, and groceries at the back of the store. Shop is closed on Sundays. Parking is easy to find. If you are a regular customer, ask for a punch card so you can get a discount after 5-10 purchases.

I don't get all the nasty reviews...this place is just a normal Whole Foods. I happened to be in…read morethe area and swung by for a quick snack and some laptop time before a meeting, and it was fine. The reviews made me fear it was going to be some really tiny cramped WF like the one in Cambridge on Prospect Street which doesn't even have public bathrooms or tables to eat at, but no this is just a run-of-the-mill small/medium WF similar to the ones in Arlington, Medford, Winchester or Somerville. Not a great big nice one like at Fresh Pond or on River Street but nothing I'd particularly complain about either. Puh-leez. Caveat: I am not rich/dumb enough to do ALL my grocery shopping here, just a handful of specific things that I can't find anywhere else, e.g. Highlawn Farms grassfed milk. That's what Market Basket is for, folks---stop whining about the prices here, doh it's called "Whole Paycheck" for a reason.

I came in mainly to drop off an Amazon return. A man walked in right before me with his two children and headed toward the line. There was an employee working near that section, but she was busy scanning items on the other side. I went straight to the return machine and started doing my return when, all of a sudden, another employee came storming out and yelled at the customer and his two kids. From what I could tell, the kids had apparently walked behind the counter, but I honestly wasn't sure exactly what had happened. What made me uncomfortable was the level of hostility from the employee. Thankfully, the customer stayed calm and didn't get loud in return. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this location now. It really reminded me how important acknowledging customers is. If one employee is too busy to the point where they can't keep an eye on the area or communicate with customers, there should be someone else available as backup. I'm not saying the customer or the kids were necessarily in the right, because I don't know the full situation. I just think the situation could have been handled in a way that felt less hostile. It definitely left an uncomfortable impression on me.
