Due to the fact that my boyfriend is a chef I am often given a list if unusual items to locate, this time it was a certain type of goats milk. I called several different grocery stores and none carried the item I was looking for except Trader Joe's!! They also have amazing prices on there frozen fruits for my smoothie. Wonderful TJ's in the same strip mall as Whole Foods. Wow. So I got my staples here for my trip to Sedona: water, a great country vegetable salad with grains, tofu, sesame oil to cook it in, and some veggies for stir fry. So happy I found this store. read more

Trader Joe's is the best. My favorite grocery store, and place to buy wine and organic food. Not a massive selection like Whole Foods, but more affordable pricing. I love that they always have sampling and end caps that feature all the new products. A HUGE parking lot, but gets SUPER busy every night and on weekend. Really friendly employees, the best out of the Trader Joe's I've been to. Overall great place, just don't mind everyone in their sweaty gym outfits from the yoga place or gym next door! read more

Sorry to say after years of shopping at TJ's I was disappointed in the latest two salads we purchased. The lettuce was bad and since it was late at night and we were hungry we didn't save to take back but just picked out the bad lettuce. The use by date was 11/2 so it was already bad when we bought it on 11/1 as we ate them right away. Will make sure I check dates next time. read more

Probably my favorite grocery store. I used to be a Safeway shopper but see no reason to ever return there after discovering TJ's. Also, my food choices have recently become better and TJ's tends to cater to the health oriented crowd with their wide array of vegetarian and organic offerings. The staff at this store is friendly and there is a good positive energy as soon as you walk through the doors. This store is often crowded but the line tends to move fast. read more

Love TJ's as we have been loyal customers since 1988 in SoCal. Their private label items are unique and well thought out. Hummus always a fav, yet they have a new line of Smooth and Creamy ClassicHummus. This was so unlike their normal offerings. Has a very weird taste profile not akin to anything hummus like. Hoping someone in their product development group takes a closer look at this item. read more

I love Trader Joes. I do all my shopping between here and Sprouts on Indian School. This is the only place I don't feel like a bother asking questions to the staff. They are so friendly and at the checkout they ask questions and we always have a nice conversation. I love that they always have new items as well! read more

Trader Joe's really SUX now-a-days...!! They used to be better and I used to shop there regularly. But now I end up going to Safeway and Whole Foods more often. Every time I find a product I like at TJ's, it is not long before it will be discontinued!! Plus, the things that sell the most of, they stock the least of. GO FIGURE!! What is their plan for us all who shop there?? To get us to buy things LESS than what we want? WHY???? They really are reducing their product line and most of what I have become to love about TJ's is now gone. I used to love their assorted nuts too, but find that they are stale on many occassions. Really, the only reason I go there anymore is because they have the best deal on Almond Milk. But now you watch... that will either be raised in price or removed from the selves altogether after this has been posted! They had an organic line up of lotion, shampoo and conditioner, etc which has now been pulled from the shelves. My local health food store carries the line (Healthy Habit) though it is much more expensive there. By searching for other places to shop, I have found several other products elsewhere now and am actually happy with them. TJ's needs to clear the clouds from their eyes as they think they are too big for us all and can do what ever they please... well, their popularity will eventually diminish and they will be slapped hard in the face one day soon and then it will be too late when they finally DO wake up and they will find they will need to close the doors. And as far as the almond milk goes... even if I can't get it there, I can always make my own which I have found it to be very easy! read more

I love Trader Joes! They have great prices, and offer an abundance of healthy options for their customers. I like the small grocer atmosphere, because it feels more personal (can anyone relate?). Also, it seems like every time I go they are offering taste samples, and don't mind if I circle the store and come back for another round! I can't get everything I need at Trader Joe's (as far as personal items or some bath products are concerned), but I definitely go here when I need fresh, quality food. read more

Just moved into the area and went to this location. It was so busy but staff was very helpful as I'm not used to this store and couldn't find the things I usually get. One time I went to another store and there was a demo of waffles with pomegranate seeds and yoghurt on it. At this store there was a sample with Belgian waffles, strawberries, and whipped cream...delicious! So I bought the waffles and they were so cheap! I also love their Mediterranean feast meal. They have so many different items and prices are very reasonable. I find that I go to Trader Joe's a lot because of the variety of products and the atmosphere. I highly recommend Trader Joe's. read more

i like this location - whenever i'm in the neighborhood i try to stop by. i like that it is in an older complex. i feel good about buying fresh, healthy stuffs for me, my husband and our dogs here. i like the prices a lot. i like that the people are nice and their eggs are the best tasting in all the land. i don't like that pomegranate seeds are hard to come by. i get sad when they're out of cheese curds. and i get frustrated when it is super busy. but otherwise, i really like this trader joe's. read more

In this day & age, I truly believe that most people want honesty. With that being said, i'm going to give an HONEST review. I came to Trader Joe's yesterday afternoon (11/15/2015) for ONE thing: Chicken breast. Up to that point, Trader Joe's was the only place I shopped for chicken breast for months as the quality is usually pretty good as long as the "sell by" date isn't too near (with the only "downside" being the price charged for the amount of chicken you actually get). I came into the store & immediately noticed TONS of people in the front of the store. "Wow, they're REALLY busy today", I said to myself. I should have taken that as a "red flag", but with an empty stomach, all I had on my mind was grilling up some chicken & having a nice lunch after skipping breakfast. I went to the meat section, grabbed two packs of chicken breast & got in one of the lines (EVERY line was about 15-20 ppl long, which was very unusual for Trader Joe's). After waiting in line for about 20 minutes or so, there was only one more person in front of me & I overheard the cashier saying something about them having computer problems. Once it was my turn, I was naturally annoyed as a result of the long wait but I was just eager to finally pay for my item & get on with my day that had already been planned in advance. In the end, I scanned my EBT card once & after about 1-2 minutes it didn't go thru (I had more than enough credit available for my purchase). A manager was called over, I scanned it again, & after another 1-2 minutes he tells me "Oh sorry, our EBT transactions aren't working right now".. I looked at him for a few seconds as I waited for him to offer some type of customer-focused resolution after I had stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to complete my purchase. Sadly no resolution was offered & before saying what I REALLY wanted to say, I realized that I just didn't have the energy, I left the chicken on the counter & I walked out empty-handed (after waiting in line for nothing & having 20 minutes of my life wasted [all of which could have been avoided had the people who work at the store set the right expectations ahead of time]). My complaint isn't due to the fact that the system went down. My complaint is due to the fact that the HANDLING of the situation was so unprofessional & non-customer focused. I can see if a company just went into business a week ago, but for Trader Joe's to have been in business for as long as they have (founded in 1958) I would expect that they would have some type of proper protocol in place for situations like this. In my eyes, it's just common sense: Put your ego down, put a sign up on the door advising your customers that you're having computer issues & thank people in advance for their patience. Warn people that the EBT system may be down, so that you set the right expectations IN ADVANCE instead of having your long-time customers standing in one of your RIDICULOUSLY long lines for upwards of 20 minutes just to walk out empty handed all because you made no effort to warn them in advance that your system was down. Had I known what was going on in advance, I could have saved myself the headache & either brought mom with me (since she always keeps cash on her) or just went to another store & avoided the mess altogether. What I experienced yesterday was just not customer-focused at all, it is not what I would expect from Trader Joe's & I honestly would have expected more. I mean SOMETHING to make the wrong right & make me feel better about shopping at your store even after an experience like this. Companies make mistakes just like people do, but this was just a complete turnoff for me & i'll think twice next time I walk into the store & see that many people at the front. If you don't communicate something to me, i'm left with no choice but to assume the worst & in this case i'll simply assume that your system is down again, i'll just turn around & walk out. I was not happy with my experience yesterday & wanted to share in hopes that someone at Trader Joe's can take ownership & find a better way to handle stuff like this next time around. Other similar companies (i.e. Fresh & Easy) thought they would last forever, but at some point there was a disconnect with the customer: We all know what happened to Fresh & Easy & i'm quite sure that Trader Joe's would not want to end up in the same position. Once again, I truly hope they find a better way to handle situations like this going forward so that the customer feels valued & respected (aka- the opposite of how I felt on yesterday afternoon). read more

I love this place. No complaints. Their salmon is better than any chain store I have ever had -- especially there pecan crusted salmon. They sell fresh bulk basil for 2.99 -- and Sprouts sells it for almost 6.00. read more

This is a great location. It is clean and well organized. The produce is beautiful. The beer and wine section is huge, easily 1/3 of the store. I especially like that they keep multiple check out lines open. Even when they are busy, checkout doesn't take too long. The only downside is that during busy times, it can be tricky to get in and out of the parking lot. read more
