New Harlem-Trader Joes. I'm not normally in Harlem but a lady on the subway informed me of it. So, today I got a chance to check it out. It's in the middle of the block adjacent to the Whole Foods. It has everything the other Trader Joe's have, i found everything I needed. I just need to get use to the lay out. It's friendly, enough, no one bothers you. Plus, there's security there as in all stores So, No Worries! I loved the entrance, so that's all the photos I have. Store is the regular set up.

I do like this location but I don't love that it's in the basement. You can't get any service so it makes it hard for you to use your phone that has nowadays everything from your banking apps, to your debit cards information. I mean I have to bring my actual card when I visit this location and that is the reason for four stars and not five, other than that, I love this store. It's really a different vibe than the one downtown. I don't know if it's because of the different music that is being played, or the fact that everyone from the workers to the customers all seem happy. The lines are always long but move pretty fast, the way the store is set up, with everything being on one level making it easier to find things. It's really spacious so you don't feel someone breathing down your neck or bumping into you with a shopping cart. It's just a pleasant supermarket and I'm happy that it's not all the way downtown and close enough for the local neighborhoods of Harlem or The Bronx to get to. The food prices are always good, and they have things that my regular supermarket doesn't have or may charge an arm and leg for. Thumbs up for me. Happy Yelping!

The staff is friendly, the produce is fresh and the line moves quickly! There's elevator access available. I love coming here there's always great deals!

TJ's Harlem has proper normal shopping carts (not like the nearby Lidl)

Thank you Trader Joe's for finally opening up this 125th St. location! TJ's Harlem new location is a spacious shop with wide aisles, numerous cashiers in an equally roomy checkout - perfect for when it's going to get really crowded! All your TJ's classic favorites and new favorites should be there at well-posted competitive national prices. And everyone was so friendly! This TJ's is a welcome place to shop where the bulk of our Harlem neighborhood grocery options are all lacking in one way or another. It won't break the bank like Whole Foods. Or rip-off prices like Fine Fare! And compared to Lidl on FDB... (of the many differences) TJ's has shopping carts vs. Lidl's low, floor level, wheeled plastic baskets that require you to reach down to the floor to 1) clean out someone else's litter and 2) pull out every item to give it to the cashier! A short walk for me. Look forward to making my weekly or more frequent trips!

There are more cashiers than I've seen in any other Trader Joe's. Accounting for what they knew would be a high-trafficked store, the aisles are wide. Plenty of merchandise. Clean, well-stocked. Same prices I paid when I shopped at Trader Joe's in Roswell GA though -- and it may be my imagination -- the bag of frozen Gyoza Potstickers (something I always buy) seems to have shrunk. The First Avenue bus is right outside. Convenient! I would avoid rush hour and weekends when the store could get super busy. I don't want to struggle with purchases on a crowded bus. But I'll surely be back, mid-week, mid-day.

This was my first time visiting this Trader Joe's location…read more I'll start with the positives: the line was short and moved quickly, and they did have some of the items I was looking for in stock, which I appreciated since I was short on time. Unfortunately, the experience was heavily overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation with a security guard who followed us around the store. It was very off-putting and honestly diminished the entire visit. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have left my items right where I stood and walked out. Security should be focused on individuals who are actually stealing, not hovering over someone carrying a tiny bag where nothing could even be hidden. Because of that experience, it's unlikely I'll return to this location. I may consider trying a different Trader Joe's someday, but this visit left a very sour impression.

We have developed a congenial friendship which was founded on La Fermière yogurts. Emre knows that I price shop so invariably I know when the time is right to buy these delicious yogurts at Eden. I often buy Siggi yogurts as here they are $1.99 each. The ladies - Dolores, Affou, Mamata, Savita, Tofu - at the checkout are friendly, kind and remember customers. A few speak French which I practice with them. Being originally Greek, the Dolmas in the prepared food section, are plump and particularly tasty. It's worth buying a few to take home. Adam looks taciturn but always is kind to me. He is behind the deli counter preparing sandwiches and always gives me a quarter pound of the Jambon de Paris. Miguel and Medina are also here. A loyalty card is worth having and once having accumulated many points I paid the princely sum of $1.61 for a pretty bouquet of roses in assorted colors that cost $11.99. Now that's a steal! Eden Gourmet is the sister supermarket to my beloved sadly closed Eden Gourmet of 14th street. This too is packed to the brim with fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dairy, chicken and meats. A large variety of sparkling waters, frozen entrees, ice creams and assorted temptations are here too. A small bakery has cakes and pastries available. I pop in often to get milk or to see what's new and always to say hello to everyone. I always feel happy coming to Eden Gourmet Marketplace!

He came towards me to open my jacket and try to search me. My other half is disabled and he was buying at the Cold Cut section. I literally was being kidnapped. I've been calling the store and the Lady keeps hanging up the phone. The worker ran to the back and an another employee became hostile towards me. I called her back to preserve the tape from today. She hung up.
