You can always count on TJ's to have what you need. I'm always greeted warmly and informed about what's new. The store can sometimes be a little crowded so I try to pick my times carefully. People love shopping at Traders and it appears that the employees are also happy. I really appreciate the care that they use when handling the produce. Nothing is worse than bruised lettuce and herbs. The whimsical decor will put you in a good mood as well as discovering something new to try. Pay them a visit if you haven't already. read more

I dont come in here often enough. But whenever I popin, I find something I gotta have. I came 2day for fresh flowers but left with fresh salmon, salmon seasoning, flowers, and a mixer, jalapeño limeade.. Awesome, friendly and attentive customer service. This grocer is such a nice alternative to have. They offer some fairly unique items that are only carried by Trader Joe's. Ordinarily, if you ask for help from any employee, they'll stop what they're doing, listen to you, and either assist you directly or refer you to someone who can. It's certainly nice to experience this kind of "old school" customer service. Trader Joe's fan for life, I enjoy many staples in this place! My coworker asked me to get her a few bottles of red wine since I was in the area, I was happy to see some of the black owned wines. I'm always gonna end up with more stuff that I need from TJ's lol The seasonal items are always worth a try and if you need a cocktail whether beer, wine, or mimosa in a bottle, TJS is the place for you! Too hectic, too crowded, and too overwhelming for me. I have GAD, generalized anxiety disorder, and a trip to Trader Joe's is never pleasurable. There's never any parking, and once inside, there's no room to leisurely browse and shop. I constantly feel like I'm in everyone's way. There's a whole section on Reddit where other neurodivergent people say the same thing I'm saying. This place is amazing! It's a bit far to go often but it seems like every time I step into one I find something new and amazing that I just have to have. It's crazy affordable as well. What can I say about trader Joe's... people sleep on Trader Joe's... it is like a less expensive version of whole foods. It may not be as much variety but they definitely have a lot there for the organic/healthy-eating people. Another big plus is that they still do the display promotions and I have definitely bought items from trying them from the display. They have things for the external as well as the internal. Facial mask, body washes, toothpaste, they have it. I bought this peppermint body wash from there and BOY! Lol the lavender body lotion knocked me out quick lol. Love Trader Joe's!!! Missed living in Vegas because there were no TJ here but now we have one and I'm loving it!!! Baby, let me tell you about my two favorite things this month. Those thin chocolate chip cookies. Gluten free never tasted soo good! Secondly, (no picture included because I didn't know what to expect then I ate them all before thinking about writing this review) those chicken tamales. I grew up on pork tamales and I can honestly say these a close to that home made flavor. A little thin on the cornmeal/masa but still good. Update...come on through Chimichurri rice!!! I finally live close to a Trader Joe's. And not just any random TJs, it's the best one! Everything is organized and clean the way I like it. Produce stays fresh for longer than grocery stores. This a new and a very interesting place. It kinda remind me of a corner store you go to and pick up something right quick and at the last minute. The newness is still there of course it's crowded. And prices are up there. But maybe for those speciality items they carry you have to pay extra for those. Kroger has no competition with this one being here. I wonder where the concept come from. It's a small store. Checkouts are literally at the opening of the exit door. I bought unsalted butter, pumpkin soup and almond milk. They take all methods of payments. The fresh fruits/veggies look good. Each section has a little bit of that item's category. Maybe it's just only Trader Joe's brand. I have frequented various Trader Joe's stores for years in Dallas, TX and I really missed this store when I visited family here. So I couldn't be happier a Trader Joe's store has finally opened here. Today I came specifically to pick up a few bags of their Vegan Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip and Coconut cookies for my mom and step dad as they both love them. I know the stores in Dallas kept selling out of these and a store associate at the Germantown store told me they sell out quickly there as well. These cookies literally melt in your mouth and the chocolate chips used in them are so soft. They are so good. Apparently the store gets a fresh batch every morning. The store is very nice and it was crowded. It will do well in Germantown. read more

Definitely my preferred grocer. They keep a consistent line of products, and the staff seems to stick and around. They are SUPER friendly and remember my family members names, and are always super friendly. Always clean, however it's a small store, so it gets really crowded on weekends. I love to go to Trader Joes's around the holidays. I would go more often but I live in Midtown & Germantown is ions away. I first called to see if they had plenty of Kringle Pastries in stock. The attendee placed me on hold & looked for herself. She said she couldn't hold any but to come on! The store was packed with holiday merchandise & food & had a very festive appearance. All the clerks were knowledgeable & very busy, but happy to stop what they were doing and help. Trader Joes' has so many things other what Krogers provides. It's always a treat to visit Trader Joe's! I do not know who thought it was a good idea to go from well stocked shelves/bins to displaying the produce in the cardboard boxes it was delivered in, but it is not an improvement. Shopping at this Trader Joe's is always a pleasant experience. However this past Friday it was made extraordinary by team member Anthony. Waiting in line to shop my husband and I joked with Anthony it was our first wedding anniversary that day. What can you do? Love in the times of COVID. As we were waiting to check out Anthony found us and ushered us out of line to a closed register he opened, checked us out, and gave us a huge, beautiful bouquet of flowers. We loved our Trader Joe's in Westlake, OH. We're so happy they opened in Memphis. Parking is free and ample. The store layout is excellent. The products are very good. Value is typically better than their competition. For example, an avocado at another local store is $1.89. Here it is BIGGER and the price is $1.19. Today our total was $126.88. It was raining and the temp was hovering around 45F. A young man walked us to the car and held my golf umbrella as I loaded the goods into the front bin of the Porsche. He was shocked to see such a large bin upfront. One of the men who checked us out was named George. We had an engaging conversation. Trader Joe's is a simple little market with all the ingredients that I actually cook with (aside from the stuff I can only get from an Asian market). The prices are good. For example at Kroger, a ribeye is like $8 or $9 but a 5 ribeye family pack is $35. One ribeye from Trader Joe's is $7. Unlike at Aldi's where you can't find all the ingredients for a great Italian meal, here you can! They have all the fresh herbs needed! While I could see myself only shopping at Trader Joe's and Costco from now on, I just think that Kroger is far more convenient right now simply because of parking. Heck, I'd rather shop at Whole Paycheck for the time being until the hype dies down. I've been to several Trader Joe's in other cities. So this place to me is just another grocery store with a good self-branded collection of products and cheap wine. I'm probably not going back anytime soon. The parking... Geez, the parking! It's like they need a parking garage now. Why the hell are they building a Container Shop in that parking lot when Sprouts have plenty of customers? read more

I've been waiting years for Trader Joe's to finally open in Memphis and I mean YEARS. This is coming from someone who has been to various Trader Joe's in many cities so when I say I was emotional on opening day, I really was. Now let's get down to business, they have everything I expected them to have. It's very very similar to Nashville's store. I love their free coffee samples and I love their food samples. Their prices are very reasonable and they have way more things than Aldi (who is owned by the brother that created TJ's). They have organic things and everything has great quality. I've already been here 4 times and if I lived closer I'd be here more often. There are some downsides, like the parking, which to be honest, Nashville's is far worse so at least we get more space. There's also a lot of people and a lot of the items get sold out since they don't have stock in the back (they do daily shipments). None of that bothers me though because I'm still really happy we have one and I'll fight my way to get the last jar of cookie butter. Which brings me to my next subject. If you've never been here, here are some items you need to try. Cookie butter, macarons, mochi ice cream, veggie burgers, chocolate, wine, and anything from the produce section. read more

I used to drive to the Nashville location. I love how much they have for celiacs like me and at a fraction if the cost in comparison to Sprouts, Whole Foods, and even Kroger. Super rude staff. Place is what it is otherwise. You will either like it as a grocery or think its a gimmick but it doesn't work for me.

While checking out today, the lady bagging my groceries (blonde, wavy hair, middle aged) and I were talking about our rescue pets. All of the employees were super friendly, but she really made an impact on me. As I was walking out into the rain with my cart, she ran over to me and handed me a bouquet of flowers for no reason.
