Today was a good day even though the shopping crowd was busy due to the Christmas holiday shopping. The shelves were well stocked and prices have come down from the last highs seen during the year. Bacon finally under $10!! The only bad thing is when one gets past where the bacon is at one is hit with a smell that reminds me of horse stalls. Not the present smell either. It lingers from the back corner all the way until the check out line. While my wife and I didnt see any things on the floor that smell was potent. It usually is not that way so it is probably a one off event. read more

I went to the bakery to order a cake. I was waited on by Angela she was not friendly at all. She acted like I was bothering her. She didn't know the difference between devils food and chocolate. I wish this Kroger had friendlier people, the balloon person was not much better. read more

I normally shop inside but decided to use pick up. I have used Kroger pick up twice now...very pleased so far so will keep using them. Many of the Kroger brands have been a plus cause usually less in price and are very good quality! I feel comfortable shopping there. read more

I have loved this store since I was a child. The name being said just brings a smile to my face. Its safe and clean. I love the high standers they have for cleanliness and you can trust the butchers that prepare the meats and cheeses. The store is always clean and i come here for my love of poncho's cheese dip. Well, we locals know they shut the restaurant down but the legacy of the famous cheese dip lives on here at KROGER. Not the white cheese dip the original dip. I give it 5 stars and I love the flower shop inside. read more

I really like this store. This is one of the Kroger that has more healthy food options in store. It is a pretty large store and it is neat and organized. I was able to easily find everything I need. The staff/team was really helpful. They also had enough cashiers on hand and worked the lines really fast. I will definitely be going back! read more

Tonight I went in the store and purchased a few items one of them being a jar of RAGU sauce. As soon as I exited, the jar fell through the bag and busted open right in front of the store. I walked back in and asked the Manager who said his name was Joe could I get another jar due to the flimsy bag. He told me no because I exited the door and that once I'm outside it's no longer their problem.This is terrible customer service this could have been my last $ and to treat a customer that way is just terrible especially if it wasn't my fault. The Ragu was in a bag by itself and I even showed him the broken bag and told him the glass jar was busted open in front of the store and he just walked off. I had to call corporate to get it handled. I shouldn't have had to do all of that. Hire better people. read more

Anyone who knows me, knows that I loathe Kroger. The fact that they click list, started the self checkout b.s. and that there is ALWAYS 100s of carts covering the parking lot and sitting on top of my car is just unacceptable. There is no reason for carts to be everywhere when no one is shopping for their own groceries (click listers) and the people that are shopping have to be their own cashier and bagger. TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO GO GATHER THE CARTS SO I DONT HAVE DENTS AND SCRATCHES ALL OVER MY CAR! Saying all that, for the first time in 5 years I was impressed today with Kroger. All the check out lanes were open, no carts were in the parking lot and the shelves were stocked and no expired items were on the shelf. My only complaint was the restrooms were filthy. read more

Solid supermarket. I'm in town with family and I have been here several times in the last few days. Very clean, excellent selection - plenty of variety. It's very easy to find stuff, too - thanks to the user-friendly layout. That's my biggest challenge with most supermarkets....just finding what I need easily. I have not had to wait on a line once. There's always a register open and they even have people to help with bagging! I went this morning again - it's Saturday - and still no crazy lines. read more

Terrible worst Kroger I've ever seen lines always down the isles while they have team members standing there when they could be opening up the 10 empty cashiers. Best Kroger I've ever been to! This location should be called "SUPER KROGER". It reminds me of a world market, whole foods, and food lion mixed. This Kroger has a bit of something from each of those places. Everything looks so fresh and new.. from produce, flowers, and decor. They have fresh sushi made daily, Mediterranean bar, salad/soup bar, and other self-service stands. I'm always traveling so I get to see other grocery stores and usually they are better than the grocery stores we have. This location exceeds my expectations! read more

This Kroger's on Stage Rd in Bartlett ALWAYS has the cleanest floors (I'm a floor person) and the freshest and best variety of vegatables. Everytime I walk through the store it does not seem like a chore because the aisles are labeled correctly and stocked accordingly. read more

This Kroger is closest to my house and one that I frequent. I like the layout of this location, staff are friendly, and they tend to be on top of marking down close-dated perishable items. Good deals sometimes. Kroger free Friday item in the app is the best! I only had a problem one time with a Kroger app coupon not working and the cashier not wanting to honor it. I often shop here when I visit family in Memphis, but this was my first time to utilize the pickup service - AND IT WAS AWESOME! I don't know why I haven't done this before! I ordered my Thanksgiving groceries on-line 3 days before my arrival to town. I pulled into the designated parking spot, called the number on the sign and within 2 mins. sweet Dynasty brought my groceries out with a big smile! A couple of things had been substituted and she went over those with me so I could approve the changes. She loaded up my trunk and off I went - such a painless grocery shopping experience! I was a little worried at first about someone else picking out my produce but my worries were unfounded - everything was well-chosen. We don't have Kroger in the state where I live, but I definitely plan to order/pickup groceries next time I go to Memphis! read more

I went to this store at around 07:45am on 08/02/22 to get some things from my Wife's list. The experience was a very nice one at first. The produce guy even went into the back to bring out fresh pineapples for me. Many of the employees greeted me with a good morning or asked me if they could help me find anything. I was able to get everything on my list and all was well. I get to the front to pay and register #7 or #10 was lit up, but no-one was there. I normally only support stores that support employment but realize at the time I shop the only thing available is the self checkout most of the time, so went to scanning and bagging. I get to my pineapples and a message pops up, so I ask the attendant whom seemed to be irritated that she was bothered, but came over to tell me what to enter. Then when I got to my watermelon, the item did not come up. I didn't want to bother the lady again but had no choice. Well, once again she seemed irritated and proceeded to give me register training. She said to enter the code and when I told her I didn't have my glasses with me, she huffed and told me to look it up by picture category. At this point I am getting annoyed and thinking to myself that "I am not looking for another job, and I sure don't want to learn how to do yours" but finished scanning. When I selected "Pay now" of course the machine started saying "Help is on the way" over and over again. The attendant at this point who was doing nothing but wiping down the same stations repeatedly did not notice of course and I sure wasn't going to "bother" her again. So if she didn't want top help anyone, maybe she can help put my cart full of stuff away since I just left it all there and went to Walmart just down the street, where every item I scanned was in the system and didn't need to have the attendants help me once. Even save a little over $20.00 on my list. read more

I was extreemly shocked at what happened today with the bakery/deli section of the Kroger's here in Bartlett, Tennessee. My wife and I purchased 7 sandwich platters at a cost of just under $40.00 each to feed at a church luncheon for 80 young men (ages 18-21) for a really special occasion. Shocked because the department manager was so helpful with putting the order together and was so friendly, however her staff really let her down. Each of the 7 sandwich platters were supposed to include a variety of meats breads and cheeses. What we received was a very sad picture of what it should have been. All of the sandwiches looked as if the preparer didn't care to make an impression and all included plain American cheese. Additionally, each platter included eight very sad looking mini croissant VERY small sandwiches. (total of 56 all together). Upon complaint to the manager by my wife, she was offered a $10 Kroger's card for the inconvenience. I am upset because my wife handled this without my being there to let the manager know that $10 was not enough. In my opinion we should have received at the least two entire platters to make up for the sad situation their platters presented. Comments from many of the Arkansas attendees was shock at the sparse amount of meat that the sandwiches included. "We would have been given 2x the meat," in Arkansas that the Bartlett Kroger's placed on the sandwiches. VERY disappointed. I hope that someone else call them out for this type of poor service. I'm a big fan of this Kroger. I normally frequent the Kroger on Germantown Parkway, but decided to pop in here one day and have been smitten ever since. This Kroger is always clean and well stocked. If I could spend hours here just searching and exploring their inventory, I would. I'm a big fan of the layout as it makes it easy to run in and pick something up. I also enjoy the location, as it is located near other businesses I frequent, such as Sally's Beauty and the UPS Store. I enjoy this Kroger, and I prefer it to the one of Highway 70. It is on the same level for me as the one on Germantown Parkway. read more

This is for the Kroger pharmacy only. The rest of Kroger is great! I am very dissatisfied with the customer service I received on Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 7:52 PM. I called the Kroger Pharmacy on Stage and Bartlett Blvd in Bartlett TN to ask if my daughter's prescription had been refilled. The doctor's office had confirmed the prescription had been sent to the pharmacy around 5:00. I noticed it was getting close to closing time for the pharmacy and still hadn't gotten the usual phone call that it was ready to be picked up. The pharmacy tech that answered informed me that in order to get the prescription that I would have to come by and show my prescription insurance card, and pay $183, and then I would get the prescription. I asked her why nobody had contacted me about this, and she stated it was my job to contact them. That I "should just do exactly what you did now, and call". I told her I have never had to do this and repeated why didn't someone call me and let me know before 8:00 when my daughter would be out of her prescription for another day. She still shifted the blame on the customer, and refused to acknowledge any inconvenience or even be apologetic on the lack of communication, making it to be the customer's fault for not calling first. I have never had this happen before and have had good experiences with Kroger pharmacy, which is why I was sending my daughter's prescription over there instead of Walgreens. I asked to speak to the manager, in which she replied with an attitude that it was the pharmacist on duty. I was completely irritated by this point and just hung up. I have never been treated this way in a facility that is supposed to be dedicated in helping people with their needs and health. I will be contacting the supervisor in the morning. But overall the customer service was horrible. read more

I really like this Kroger. Top things for me are fast checkouts, clean and a nice selection of organic foods. It does have one major drawback which is the deli counter. They are very slow behind the counter. Because of this I always purchase the pre-sliced meats and cheese. They did just recently add a kiosk to order your deli items when you get there and pick them up within 15 minutes however I haven't used it yet. read more

I'm complaining about the Kroger's on Stage Rd Click-List department. I placed an order on Saturday for pickup on Sunday. About 30 minutes before pickup time I receive a call saying they're having computer issues and all order from 4:00 and later will have to be picked up the next day. I was then asked what time I would like to set and I told them the 11a-12p slot. So the next day I arrive at 11:30 to be told my order was not ready and if I could come back later. Getting frustrated because I sat on hold for about 10 minutes before someone came back to the phone to say this. I said I would be back at 1:00, and then ask can I make it 1:15. I arrived at 1:15 and was told my order was not ready but they only had a few more items to get and it will be out in 10 minutes. Those 10 minutes turned to 20 minutes..called back and told they were ringing up my order its on it's way. The lady in the car next to me said it was her 3rd time coming there and she was waiting like me. Ten more minutes past and I am livid I call back and ask for a manager. Get connected to the assistant manager and told how the system was down which I told her I would aware but this wait is ridiculous and this was my 2nd time come the and they weren't being considerate of people's time. Then I asked if they were compensating people for the delay, and told no we can't do that. I told her this was poor customer service and they have lost a valuable customer. The young lady was like oh well. After getting off the phone with her I still had to wait 10 more minutes. I was 2:05 by the time I received my groceries. Get home and later realized that items were missing and I was not told if they were out of stock or what. Called back to the store the young lady tells me the groceries were there, they just forgot to get them from the freezer (frozen food), would I be back tonight to get the items, I told her no but I will be there tomorrow. Get there around 1:15 and had to wait some more. Get these items and they still forgot my chicken breast. Finally got them without an apology. This is horrible customer service and I have never experienced any like this before and I think I will be taking my business to Walmart or another Kroger's, but definitely not this location. read more
