This is a decent enough Kroger location. I am a huge fan of Kroger and this location overall is a good one. Thevstaff is friendly and the place has a good ambiance. I picked up some flavored water, Splash Acai Grape to be precise. I would definitely recommend here. read more

Yesterday (9-10-26) I went to get a salad at the salad bar. As is now becoming usual they didn't have any containers. One employee that was close by tried to help (she was good) After standing there for a while and watching her talk to the folks that were supposed to have it stocked (really nice salad bar BTW). I got tired of waiting and decided to leave. As I was leaving, I was called to by an employee. (blk woman to ID her) she walked up to me with a statement "their electricity was down". I was replying "What does 'that' have to do with- - -" and she just RUDELY walked away! Already irritated I exploded and turned into a sailor and chased that rude blk woman down. Her bit was "get outa my face". At that point I was done with that whole store. The lady at check out tried to get a manager (that never seems to be around) but I decided to quit wasting my time and left. They are always having trouble with not having any containers at their salad bar. This wasn't the first time, but it is the last for me. That rude employee needs a good butt chewing and to be sent home. I would get it if I was rude, but I only got about half a sentence out before she walked off and ignored me. DONE! read more

I frequent this location quite a bit because usually the produce and meat department is up to par and the employees are always great! However on this last trip, I stopped by to pickup some chicken breast and parsley. I went by the butcher part of the meat department to get the chicken and to see what was on sale. There are some Really nice ladies that work there. On the way home I kept smelling something not good but I just thought it was outside. Once I got home and began to cook, I unwrapped the most FOUL SMELLING CHICKEN you could ever imagine. How could this be? Kroger is not some rinky-dink store this is a Major Conglomerate! How are they able to sell stinky chicken to consumers? I understand that all stores try to sell food quickly when it's approaching the expiration date but this was awful. I wonder could she smell the chicken as she wrapped it up in that brown butcher paper? Maybe she had a cold and couldn't smell it, or maybe she's just doing her job with no other choice. Either way, I would rather Raise My own Chickens in my Backyard before I eat that FOUL FOWL! I guess I expected more and I know Kroger is better than this experience. I had no problems returning the chicken to the store. Everyone was nice and professional. read more

The front of store workers are some of the worst! always on the phone and never present when help is needed. They also have some of the worst self checkout machines ever. Slow to respond and makes your shopping experience suck read more

Really used to love this store however this store has completely started falling apart. Never can get any help in this store anymore employee quality here has went way downhill never can find a friendly face in this store that wants to help and this store is mostly filled with a bunch of incompetent workers especially most of the younger ladies who work in this store mostly care more about goofing off then keeping this store well maintained and the store has started to turn into a mess. I came in here one time and the older assistant manager David of this store didn't know where a certain product was where I ended up finding it myself and when I walk in isn't a very friendly worker who shouldn't be in management. I see why I prefer to use the Byhalia Rd Kroger or Houston Levee Kroger better service and quality there. This store needs help. read more

Convenient, but prices keep soaring. Nice employees, Vicky, Courtney, Virginia, Bill, Nina and Pierre. I wish the sliced pickled beets weren't always shoved to the very back and more cans easier to access toward the front of the shelf. There are times customers can't get floor level without assistance getting in standing positions. More Beneful salmon dog food on the shelves, please. When you have items on sale, make sure supply and demand are readily available and accessible for your customers. Remove the gift cards to a more secure location, because years ago, someone tampered with the cards neatly, without evidence. When purchased, the money was gone. I couldn't get my money back from Kroger or their home office, even with my receipts! Stay away from the gift cards from anywhere. Even online. Gift cards. Save your money. The pharmacy has nice Mgrs, I wish my health care provider would partner with Kroger again. Mary M. Is wonderful! We're all going through something everyday. Some people worse than others. Be nice, smile to strangers, say "Hello" and help when you can. You never know when it might brighten someone's day and mood. You did your Good Deed for the day. Service at the store It is rude and arrogant. I will do my shopping at Walmart and Aldi.

The management at this store is sad! Not only are they rude to the customers but they treat their staff terribly! I've heard many conversations where the employee has asked for assistance and the manager basically verbally abuses them in response. Its embarrassing for both the employee and the customer. I had to stand up for the check out girl twice in the last month. Manager calling her dumb and useless. I think it's a power thing, treating them as if they are less than. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

This store is a total disgrace. "Customer Service" is non-existent and lazy. Woman at the counter refused to ring up an order because all the check-outs were bombarded. The whole store is packed with people who should know there are other locations to shop at. Absolutely horrible! read more

This store is ridiculous. Beautiful layout, but ALWAYS, ALWAYS understaffed up front. Long lines as 2 checkers frantically try to help the lines of carts 5-7 people deep. One bagger, if you're lucky. If not.. forced to bag your own. The manager is either absentee or completely inept. Either way corporate needs to get on the ball and fire them... it's horrible every single time. Lots of grumbling in line. read more

The Kroger on Farmington in Germantown, TN is the worst store imaginable. pick up a package of strawberries, and they are all molded on the bottom. The "personal shoppers" are unbelievably rude. If you are in the store they park they carts and refuse to move. You can't get down the aisles because of the personal shoppers. The store manager does not care what you think. The nearest full service store is SuperLo, which I love. A little too far away, but so much more pleasant, and much better prices. read more

This is one of the Schnucks stores that was converted to a Kroger. In side it sill looks like a Schnucks, for example, they haven't changed the signs over the aisles or changed the layout at all. Pros: Boars head Deli Good selection at butcher shop Cons: Not much fresh produce. Where Schnucks had lots of fruits and veggies on the Way in, Kroger has replaced it with junk and processed food. Meat doesn't look that great Smaller selection of beer Prices are higher read more

I was a regular at this store when it was a Schnucks, so to have lower Kroger prices and more generics and store brands available is a dream come true! This Kroger lacks a lot of the organic produce and meat selection that can be found at the nearby Exeter Kroger, or the East Memphis Krogers. Staff is police and quick, and they are patient with children riding in the cart. Aisles here are nice and wide; this is a spacious store. read more

It's not the world's best grocery store by any means, but it's definitely the Promised Land of Memphis-area Krogers. It doesn't feel dirty or run-down like most others in the area. The deli and bakery always have a huge selection to choose from, and there's also a very impressive alcohol section with lots of wine choices at not-awful prices. I have tried to order a plate from the hot bar at the deli, but no matter how long I stand there, no one has ever come to help me. That's pretty much my one complaint. If the thought of going to a grocery store in Memphis makes you want to pull your hair out, you'll keep most of your follicles after a visit to this Kroger location. read more

This Kroger is by far the most fancy Kroger in this area. It could have been the coolest grocery store had Whole Foods not built a new even more crazy grocery store a few blocks away, but Kroger deserves credit for this, and I hope Kroger continues to renovate the other stores to match. This Kroger has a dry aged steak display, with a in-store grill next to it, so they can grill the steaks for you. There is a growler station. And there is also a very nice food court with awesome little pizzas, good sandwiches, and, juice bar, my favorite, cheap tonkatsu ramen. Sure, it's not the best ramen in this town, but it's $7.99. The tonkatsu broth is flavorful enough for this money. Don't order the spicy miso ramen here. Spicy miso ramen is neither spicy or miso... Heck, I would be fine if it was at least miso. I've ask them to change the recipe to at least miso. Currently it tastes like soy sauce soup. For good spicy miso ramen, go to the previously mentioned Whole Foods. On Wednesdays, they have $5 sushi specials. Oh, the car chargers are not working again!!! read more

I really love this location. Its recently renovated and well stocked. This is my go to Kroger for the most part. They have several different stations which are great. They include Corky's, a juice bar, Growlers, Gourmet pizza, Murray's cheese Shop, Bakery, and Starbucks. Plus the customer service is good and the store is well kept. read more

Lunch time grocery errand. 12 you scans, 6 closed completely with one of the remaining 5 out of service. You scan monitor busily chatting on his cell phone while inputting my ID info, which only a store employee can do. Thankfully the store was neat and fairly well stocked or I'd have had to have gone with 1 star. Perhaps a bit harsh but we have come to have higher expectations than this from this store. read more

Could maybe squeeze out another star if the checkout lines were not halfway to the back of the store at 2pm on a Monday. Put back all my groceries and left. A whole bank of self check registers was closed and the lines for the open ones were full of people with multiple carts. Scan Bag Go scanners were all dead. Worth paying a little more at a competitor to never have to go into this dumpster fire again. read more

I am glad to see that there is a Kroger in the area that does a decent job of making customers feel important. Granted, this is a brand new store, but they appear to have done a great job teaching the employees the all important art of customer service. Today I was fortunate enough to run into a very nice man in the butcher shop. I needed just one chicken thigh for a particular recipe I am creating and he was all too happy to break open a package and repackage it to give me just the one I needed. This is how you keep customers coming back. Also, they are doing a good job keeping the place clean and the shelves stocked. I would like to thank the management of this particular Kroger and ask them to please pass on the customer service and cleanliness standards to the other Kroger's in the greater Memphis area as they obviously have zero clue on how to do it right. This Kroger gets my approval and I hope they keep up the high standards. read more

I'm here in a long line. All of the three checkout lines are very long. You would think they would open another!

We have used Click List several times, and each time it is incorrect. I understand when the store may be out of an item, but there are several times when the item was not picked correctly (not substituted since they go over the substitutions with you). Just today, we got the wrong flavor creamer (and weren't told they were out or a substitute was made, so picked incorrectly), our razor refills were in the case still (we had to get a hammer to break it because we could not get back up there this week). Also, we have had several pizzas that were supposed to be pepperoni and we got pepperoni and sausage (again without being told and my kids don't eat sausage). We let all these slide until now. I'm paying $5 for the convenience of click list, yet every single time it's an inconvenience. read more

The bakery ladies are some of the rudest people I have encountered at a grocery store.

The store itself is great. For that alone Id give this a five star review. However, the customer service at the cashier is abysmal. I don't know what happened when they moved across Exeter to Farmington, but it seems like they got rid of all the good cashiers. I never had any problems with the ones on Exeter, but the cashiers at the new Kroger all need customer service lessons. Most of them are young. They don't say hello or thank you. You are lucky to get any kind of acknowledgement at all except if they don't know what a certain kind of produce is. They're busy talking to their coworkers and give you the impression that they are doing you a favor by checking your groceries out. Well, I'll just use the self check line so your job is not needed any more. Truth be told, I really don't want to interact with them either. And another thing is that a lot of the workers are dressed so sloppy. Tuck those shirts in! Look and act professional. Management, get it together! read more

I couldn't find a rating for only the pharmacy, so they'll have to deal with it. This has to be the SLOWEST business I have ever seen in my life. They are across the street from the Post Office, and I swear the UPS there is twice as fast as this pharmacy. The pharmacists are rude and you can tell they just don't care. Don't think I'm some junkie trying to get my opioid prescription filled, I just came to pick up blood pressure medicine that had been called in two days before. Whoever the manager of this pharmacy is, he/she should be fired immediately. They HAVE to see what's going on here and are either complicit, or they're just ignorant and don't need to be in the position to begin with. read more
