Trader Joe's is dangerous... I walk in for bananas and somehow leave with $80 worth of snacks I didn't know I needed. Seriously though, I love this place. The employees are always super friendly, the store has a great vibe, and there's always something new to try. Shopping here actually feels fun -- which is probably why my cart is never as empty as I planned. read more

The selection and service continues to impress us! The store is always so clean and organized and we love how helpful they are when we can't find something that we saw in the Frequent Flier. The prices are "pre-pandemic" still. We love it here. read more

It's so nice to finally have TJs a little closer to home. This store is well laid out with wide isles and although a good selection I find I cannot get items Ihere that I usually get from other locations. A few things I have noticed: - No hard liquor. This could be a temporary thing (hopefully!) I love their cream liquors and seemingly so do others as on a recent visit both myself and another Lady were looking for them only to leave empty handed. -Some items priced higher than other locations. For example, fresh Chicken 50c/lb more. - Their most popular item seems to be Orange chicken. Never had it myself but seeing how quickly the freezer clears maybe I should. The staff are also great... Very friendly, efficient and on top of restocking. read more

Today is opening day! Came at night and the staff is hard at work restocking items. Everyone is excited for this store and wants to check it out so prepare to get cozy in the aisles. Was able to find most of my usual items. Lots of tote bags were sold out. Hopefully they restock those :) Layout is a little different from other stores I have been to so you'll need to walk thru every aisle. Friendly staff and one of them walked me to the chip aisle. Excited for Trader Joe's to be here! Welcome to Tracy! read more

So exciting to finally have a TJ's in Tracy! It's been a looooong time coming. The store was clean, fairly well stocked, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I read the labels and ingredients on everything- so I take my time wandering down the aisles. Many of our household staples (ex: coconut aminos) were significantly cheaper than other stores. Their organic produce options were ample and reasonably priced. I'll definitely have to head back regularly to grab some staples here! When I finished shopping, despite the busy store, there was no lines and a checker helped keep right away. I hope they're able to keep the same level of service long term! read more

AWARENESS: I've only visited one Trader Joe's in the past several years and it's located in Point Loma of San Diego. Wen this location opened in Tracy, I decided to visit to see the stores similarities. NARRATIVE: I visited this location on Friday, July 11, 2025 when they opened for the day at 8 am. The first thing I noticed was how spacious and wide the isles were inside the store. The second thing I noticed was, how many check lanes and employees on hand to help. The store is stocked well with lots of fresh produce and they have a large selection of more healthy choice items like; nuts, dried fruits and fresh juices. Because I arrived early, I was able to move throughout the store and each isle quickly, picking up some really good looking pastas, deli meats and of course, their signature Orange Chicken. SCENE: Trade Joe's sits next door to Best Buy and now occupies the building where World Market was. RECOMMENDATION(S): I know the residents of Tracy asked for a Trader Joe's for many years and now that's it's here, I believe it will do great business. If your in the mood for healthier food options, Trader Joe's is your place. read more

Welcome to Tracy, Trader Joe's! We came for their ribbon cutting on grand opening day. Loved the giant tote bag outside for photo ops!The line wrapped around the building so we decided to leave and grab some coffee first. Gotta let those hardcore fans that lined up at midnight get first dibs! We returned a few hours later and it was busy but no line! All the employees were super friendly and the store was clean and organized. You know I'll be back. TJ's for life! read more

This TJ's was very organized, employees were very friendly and plenty of parking, which is awesome!

Finally got to check this place out last Friday. Came here around 5pm with my mom. This place is really nice. Plenty of parking outside and spacious in the inside. The aisle are wider here so it doesn't feel cramped. At the time that we arrived there wasn't so many people, which I liked. I didn't go for the usuals that I get and I only ended up buying a few snacks to try out. This is going to be my new spot to shop at since it's closer to where I live. Still hoping one day TJ will be in Manteca or Lathrop area. read more

Review #899 Posted on 7.2.25 We came into the new Trader Joe's today for the first time. Place is very nice, plenty of space at this one, feels less cramped than the others we've been in. This spot is located in the same parking lot in between Naglee Road and the Mall that Best Buy & BJ's are at. They're going to take up that parking lot on busy weekends, everyone loves Trader Joe's. They've got all kinds of healthy and affordable stuff here, from fresh veggies and fruit, to meats, to dairy, snacks, frozen food, desserts, you name it. We will be back. read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful! I was able to grab many of my favorite food items as they were stocked well. It is in a convenient location and the parking wasn't bad at all. As a new location the inside of the store was familiar but they did have extra wide isles in the frozen section! read more

Trader Joe's Finally Lands in Tracy--A Long-Awaited Gem That Delivers After seasons of longing and whispers of its arrival, the day has finally come: Trader Joe's has officially opened its doors in Tracy, and it is everything the community hoped for--and more. Nestled in a town that has yearned for the unique charm and culinary treasures that only Trader Joe's can offer, the store is a breath of fresh air in a landscape of sameness. Here, grocery shopping transcends the mundane. It becomes ritual. It becomes joy. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is unmistakably "TJ's"--a harmony of warmth, efficiency, and that signature whimsy that sets the brand apart. The associates, as if cast from the same cheery cloth, exude a genuine enthusiasm that feels less like customer service and more like neighborly kindness. Each visit is met with smiles that don't feel rehearsed and guidance that never feels rushed. The store itself is a testament to careful planning and pride. Shelves brim with bestsellers and seasonal delights, all meticulously arranged yet welcomingly accessible. Produce gleams. Labels charm. And somehow, even the frozen aisle feels curated with intention. Not a crumb nor carton feels out of place--the entire space is spotless, maintained with a reverence that speaks volumes about its management. It must be said: the opening of this Trader Joe's does not simply add another retail outlet to Tracy. It brings character. It brings color. It brings community. For many, this is more than a store--it's a symbol of SJV's growth, its promise, and its rightful place on the map of small-town excellence. Indeed, every experience thus far has been on par with the best of what Trader Joe's nationwide has to offer. For longtime fans and curious newcomers alike, this location is an invitation to fall in love with the grocery run all over again. At long last, Tracy has its Trader Joe's--and the wait was wholly worth it. read more

Really like TJ but this Tracy location is PHENOMENAL! It's new so it's very clean with great space. My first visit to this location and I was blown away at how the layout was so efficient. I meet a manager and spoke with him for a few moments and he really made me feel welcomed. Great selection and prices. Love that TJ. read more

We like the British Crumpets very much. The one we bought Wednesday 17th of September had mold growing on them when we got them home that day. Obviously standards are dropping here in Tracy grocery stores. Pleases see photos and buy before dates. It's a shame, we were really looking for quality products from Trader Joe's in Tracy, not products obviously past their usable dates. read more

Had my first visit to TJ's in my town of Tracy yesterday, and I am over the moon happy!! I shop the Fremont TJ's almost every weekend when I visit my Dad and Sis. I LOVE how spacious this store is, has a great layout. It's not too big, and not too small. The store had my favorite flowers, my favorite wines, everything I normally buy and then some. The BEST part is the staff and customer service. These are the reasons I am a dedicated TJs customer. I met one of the store managers, Ryan, who was so inviting and kind. From my cashier to Braylon who helped me out to my car, I can see you've hired top notch staff!! Welcome to Tracy TJ's, so happy to finally have you here!! read more
