It's so nice to finally have TJs a little closer to home. This store is well laid out with wide isles and although a good selection I find I cannot get items Ihere that I usually get from other locations. A few things I have noticed: - No hard liquor. This could be a temporary thing (hopefully!) I love their cream liquors and seemingly so do others as on a recent visit both myself and another Lady were looking for them only to leave empty handed. -Some items priced higher than other locations. For example, fresh Chicken 50c/lb more. - Their most popular item seems to be Orange chicken. Never had it myself but seeing how quickly the freezer clears maybe I should. The staff are also great... Very friendly, efficient and on top of restocking. read more

Today is opening day! Came at night and the staff is hard at work restocking items. Everyone is excited for this store and wants to check it out so prepare to get cozy in the aisles. Was able to find most of my usual items. Lots of tote bags were sold out. Hopefully they restock those :) Layout is a little different from other stores I have been to so you'll need to walk thru every aisle. Friendly staff and one of them walked me to the chip aisle. So exciting to finally have a TJ's in Tracy! It's been a looooong time coming. The store was clean, fairly well stocked, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I read the labels and ingredients on everything- so I take my time wandering down the aisles. Many of our household staples (ex: coconut aminos) were significantly cheaper than other stores. Their organic produce options were ample and reasonably priced. I'll definitely have to head back regularly to grab some staples here! When I finished shopping, despite the busy store, there was no lines and a checker helped keep right away. I hope they're able to keep the same level of service long term! read more

AWARENESS: I've only visited one Trader Joe's in the past several years and it's located in Point Loma of San Diego. Wen this location opened in Tracy, I decided to visit to see the stores similarities. NARRATIVE: I visited this location on Friday, July 11, 2025 when they opened for the day at 8 am. The first thing I noticed was how spacious and wide the isles were inside the store. The second thing I noticed was, how many check lanes and employees on hand to help. The store is stocked well with lots of fresh produce and they have a large selection of more healthy choice items like; nuts, dried fruits and fresh juices. Because I arrived early, I was able to move throughout the store and each isle quickly, picking up some really good looking pastas, deli meats and of course, their signature Orange Chicken. SCENE: Trade Joe's sits next door to Best Buy and now occupies the building where World Market was. RECOMMENDATION(S): I know the residents of Tracy asked for a Trader Joe's for many years and now that's it's here, I believe it will do great business. If your in the mood for healthier food options, Trader Joe's is your place. read more

Welcome to Tracy, Trader Joe's! We came for their ribbon cutting on grand opening day. Loved the giant tote bag outside for photo ops!The line wrapped around the building so we decided to leave and grab some coffee first. Gotta let those hardcore fans that lined up at midnight get first dibs! We returned a few hours later and it was busy but no line! Finally got to check this place out last Friday. Came here around 5pm with my mom. This place is really nice. Plenty of parking outside and spacious in the inside. The aisle are wider here so it doesn't feel cramped. At the time that we arrived there wasn't so many people, which I liked. I didn't go for the usuals that I get and I only ended up buying a few snacks to try out. This is going to be my new spot to shop at since it's closer to where I live. Still hoping one day TJ will be in Manteca or Lathrop area. read more

Review #899 Posted on 7.2.25 We came into the new Trader Joe's today for the first time. Place is very nice, plenty of space at this one, feels less cramped than the others we've been in. This spot is located in the same parking lot in between Naglee Road and the Mall that Best Buy & BJ's are at. They're going to take up that parking lot on busy weekends, everyone loves Trader Joe's. They've got all kinds of healthy and affordable stuff here, from fresh veggies and fruit, to meats, to dairy, snacks, frozen food, desserts, you name it. We will be back. read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful! I was able to grab many of my favorite food items as they were stocked well. It is in a convenient location and the parking wasn't bad at all. As a new location the inside of the store was familiar but they did have extra wide isles in the frozen section! read more

We like the British Crumpets very much. The one we bought Wednesday 17th of September had mold growing on them when we got them home that day. Obviously standards are dropping here in Tracy grocery stores. Pleases see photos and buy before dates. It's a shame, we were really looking for quality products from Trader Joe's in Tracy, not products obviously past their usable dates. read more

This Trader Joe's location is one of the best. The employees are always upbeat, patient, and genuinely helpful. The shelves stay stocked, the checkout line moves quickly, and the parking lot isn't chaotic like other grocery stores. I especially love their fresh flowers, seasonal items, and frozen meals. Had my first visit to TJ's in my town of Tracy yesterday, and I am over the moon happy!! I shop the Fremont TJ's almost every weekend when I visit my Dad and Sis. I LOVE how spacious this store is, has a great layout. It's not too big, and not too small. The store had my favorite flowers, my favorite wines, everything I normally buy and then some. The BEST part is the staff and customer service. These are the reasons I am a dedicated TJs customer. I met one of the store managers, Ryan, who was so inviting and kind. Sammy was super friendly i came here with my sister , had to use the restroom i went to customer service Sammy was so sweet i am recuperating from knee surgery she got be a electric cart and showed me the restroom to make it easier so I didn't have to walk far, she even went as far to hold the door to the bathroom open so I could walk in with my walker , it truly was humbling that she did this and not just showed me and went to do other stuff , great customer service read more
