We lived here for one year 2011-2012. We moved because of a job transfer, but we would NOT have…read morere-signed. Everyday that we lived here, I felt a nagging in my head that we had not made a good choice. The staff is ok - the property manager changed hands twice during our time here which made things disorganized and in general is not a good sign. Daryl was great, as was one other girl who worked in the office (blonde hair, can't remember her name), but the others gave us dirty looks every time we went in. And the maintenance staff, while very friendly, didn't seem to know what they were doing and every single time something broke or went wrong they had to come back at least 2-4 times before it was actually fixed. They really play up the amenities, but the gym equipment is crappy and often broken and we always found dog crap on the volleyball court. Important things to keep in mind: 1. We lived in the first few buildings, closest to the main office, and our neighbors were great. However, this is not typical. The building accepts section 8, and what's more, there are MANY families with young children. We met people who had nightmare stories to tell about noise and disturbances (the walls are definitely paper thin). And the pool was often crawling with kids to the point that we wouldn't even stay. When you're at the pool, security comes by and checks for your resident ID, but kids splashing everyone and screaming - that's ok. 2. Your address is Trumbull, but you're living in Bridgeport. And not a nice part of Bridgeport either. Forget about walking anywhere. There was actually a shooting RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the complex while we lived there, and we'd heard about car and apartment break ins. There is security but I think it's very easy to get past them. If I had a friend moving to the area, I would definitely want them to know the above and what they're getting into! This is the third managed property that we lived in (the others were with Archstone and Mid-America Apartments) and this was the worst!

Be careful this apartment complex dose not look like the pictures in the brochure. I added some…read morepictures of the apartment Eaves Trumbull moved us into in January of 2014. I posted them to show what the apartments truly look like. A picture is worth a thousand words.

So far, I am thrilled with this place. I moved in last Monday…read more Initially, my experience researching the building was admittedly a little bit rocky -- I put in my application and did not hear anything back over several weeks toward the end of the summer, which was frustrating because they do charge an application fee to explore them as an option. I was finally able to get in touch with their assistant property manager, but much to my disappointment (and surprise) I was rejected for residency. As I continued to research places to go, I was beginning to find out that due to COVID, many living spaces around Fairfield county were being lost to college kids whose parents are wary of them living on campus, drying up moving options for people like me who wanted out of where I was, but wished to remain in the area. On a lark, I reached back out to two other individuals CC'd on my email discussions with the APM and asked for a reconsideration. Much to my delight, Matt, a partner at Crestwood, who owns the building, emailed me back the very same night. I advised him of the resources I am working with, fully illustrated my situation and he promised to get back me the next day with an answer as to whether or not we can proceed. He absolutely followed through and made good on his word. After giving me a call personally to let me know the good news the next night, we chatted quite a bit about self-funding through grad school (never a cheap prospect) and he inquired as to what space I'm interested in, do I have any specifics or preferences? He really went out of his way to gauge what I wanted so he could connect me with the best fit. I ended up taking a spot on the 10th floor in a bright, airy apartment with outstanding views and high ceilings (I'm on the north side of the building, facing the Fairfield County Courthouse and overlooking the Arcade) It is clear the owners take good care here - the lobby is spotless, the elevators and common areas are all equally inviting and everything overall has been an absolute breeze. I can't thank Matt enough for taking the time to understand my individual circumstances, the time limit I was facing where I was and through that, enter into a business relationship that I feel completely confident in. A couple tips for living downtown: 1. It is not scary. Fairfield county is absolutely horrid when it comes to rental pricing and Bridgeport is frequently overlooked. While all the attention goes to the North End, landlords know this and the rents are becoming on par with Fairfield, Norwalk, etc. People historically have overlooked downtown because of a non-existent crime element that I have yet to see and haven't seen down here in quite some time. I've spent a lot of time down here over the years and It's a hidden gem. 2. As Bob Dylan once said, "Watch the parking meters!" While parking around the block is pretty easy to get, you would be amazed at how quickly the meter maids come out. They've got little handheld receipt tape things and they'll cook up a ticket for you in seconds flat. You get a reprieve over the weekends, but set a timer on your phone or watch and you'll never have an issue. 3. Invest in a pull-cart. While the garage is not far from the building at all, you don't want do the one-trip shuffle with armfulls of groceries. I took this advice myself and it is lifechanging. 4. Always, ALWAYS order your coffee from the Dunkin' downstairs in advance on the app - you do not want to be stuck in the deluge that is the workforce of People's Bank tower next door, city hall or the angriest court staffers on earth at one of the two courthouses nearby

I was told in June 08 that my lease was up even though I wasn't able to move in till October. Tried talking with the leasing office but they were near impossible to get in touch with. Besides my issues it was a very nice apt. I lived on the 10th floor so I had a nice view of LI sound, and 95:/. I was also told that all the original windows would have storm windows installed and they did not. The wind in the winter against the windows was horrible and very drafty.

There's also roaches that come from other apartments no meticulous you keep your place. Hollow doors inside. Loud careless landscaping ( they don't care that residents are living there),Car alarms frequently going off at all times of the day including night. You will hear the roars from the highway which is right next to the complex. Be prepared to hear dogs barking day and night . To top it off, the office inside , Natasa and Emma , do absolutely nothing all day. They do not do anything about your concerns or questions. In fact, they do not have any answers . The management , Marisa and Narineh are not just horrible but they send nasty rude emails and are equally rude on the phone. I even had Narineh email me and not only dismiss my concern completely but basically said screw you and your child, I do not care. This is not a family friendly complex, they do not care about you or any concerns, they will gaslight you by saying you are the only one complaining . Not peaceful and neighbors are inconsiderate. Don't fall for the facade of the clubhouse, it's not of the same materials for the apartments In response to the automated owner response: You do not monitor the landscaping at all especially when there's one person in the office chatting away on their phone. There's no way for them to actually monitor since they do not leave the clubhouse. Several people have complained about the excessive noise and they haven't done anything about it. Sorry to hurt your feelings but your front desk personnel are always on their personal phones quite often and no they do not work hard at all to address any concerns. All concerns are met with " we can't do anything about that" . A broken gate in the front has never been fixed for over 3 weeks now. When Natasa was asked about it, she said " which gate? Ooohh that gate ". No answer on when it would be fixed although people are PAYING for security . Marisa and Narineh are probably one of the most unprofessional and dismissive people I've ever come across with nasty attitudes . Dismissed my partners real valid concerns despite having two young boys herself. The inside materials are definitely not high quality. You are blatantly lying and I understand you are lying for the sake of your company image but please show some dignity and morals and do not lie any further to the people. I am the one living here, you are not. Thin walls, drafts from the cheap 2 pane Home Depot windows. You can feel the floor shake when someone does laundry below. I can honestly say that "project " buildings are of greater quality than Ten Trumbull . We had roaches before we even moved our things into the place. Bottom line, stop lying, you do not address anyone's concerns . You have an incompetent front desk who doesn't care to do anything but show tours. Extremely rude managers. Definitely NOT the definition of a community . Friendly emails and concerns were sent to you with nasty and hasty replies. A better response would have been to have an employee meeting to address and train them better. The fact that you are defending them means , once again, proving you are dismissing the obvious problem. Again!

The apartment is nice but it's not worth the money you pay for. My neighbor had mold in her apartment and they are still yet to help her fix it. You can hear how loud the people upstairs can be. It even got to the point that they were stomping upstairs and wouldn't stop and something from the ceiling ended up breaking and falling on the floor. When I went to complain the lady gave me a rude attitude. The people that live there can be ruthless there's some nice ones and then there some neighbor who can see you walking the cross walk and try to run you over (they drive a blue Mazda). Having to pay for water I think it's kinda ridiculous due to the fact that we don't own the place? Usually people who have a mortgage have to pay for their water. The gym lacks so much equipment, having to get your uber eats order was annoying with the call box. I honestly did not like the bathroom, when I first moved into my apartment there was so much mold in my bathroom. I just didn't find that paying 3200 a month for this apartment is not worth it in my case. So much money for such a horrible community. They can improve in so many ways.

We chose this location for the community as well as it had all the amenities and I could get in and out of the city. When we applied we were shown a beautiful communal area free of sound from the freeway right beside us..a gym a game room..an area that collected our mail securely and onsite management. I was shown the floor plans and told by my realtor the apartments were lovely. I was shown photos etc. Again before applying I asked about the sound and was assured it was the same as the common area. Many buildings in NYC have sound proof windows and they had done a great job on the main area. We moved in on the 12th of August. We were taken to our apartment and let in...it looked beautiful..but as soon as we closed the door the issues began. The sound from the freeway was unbelievably loud and the worst in my bedroom and then after only an hour a giant barn door upstairs in the den fell on my 8 year old injuring her back scaring the hell out of us both. We explained to managment and they said sorry...there are no other apts available. You can move out...we won't charge you! Are you kidding I just moved across the country for thousands of dollars...put my daughter into school am a single full time working mom. I don't have time to look again and keep our things in boxes and start a new life and move AGAIN! NO compensation NO compassion absolutely no solution or compensation. This place is a scam do not move here they clearly don't care for their tenants and grossly misrepresent the noise from the freeway. This is a dangerous complex. I can't sleep the trucks literally wake me up at night even with a sound machine for 5K a month what a horrible scam.

Her years of experience choosing what should make the trip, and what is best left behind, was clear. However, she was also never pushy with her opinions. She took everyone's questions and concerns seriously, but always put my grandfather's feelings first, paying attention to the smallest details. Move-in day, only about 2 weeks later, was a breeze for our family. We arrived at the independent living facility mid-morning and the pictures were already expertly hung, furniture placed, and drawers organized. The team fit more furniture and decor in, without making the apartment look cluttered, than I could have imagined (in part due to Andrea's careful selection of furniture). And they meant it when they said they wanted it to feel like home right away. Down to a bowl of almonds placed carefully next to my grandfather's favorite chair, towels already hung next to the shower, and flawless organization of every drawer in the kitchen. Moving a senior out of their home is an inevitably stressful event, but having someone to navigate the process and ease the workload made the process much simpler. I would recommend Living Forward to anyone who needs to help their parents/grandparents/loved ones move onto their next stage of life.
