My tenants complained about stove knobs not working on my Frigidaire range. The service that was acquired through my rental management company was through Tracy's appliance. I was charged $469 for parts, $145 for labor, and a $115 service fee. With taxes came out to a grand total of $757.64. Although the issue was fixed, I believe they overcharged for parts and labor which I thought was outrageous. I am out of state and could not resolve the issue, the management company told me Tracy's was the only vendor they had available and pushed me to get the service done through Tracy's as to not upset the tenant. I've used Tracy's Appliance several times, to fix my cooktop and my wall oven/microwave. I have no idea why there are some bad ratings, they've always been very professional and courteous. If parts had to be ordered, they let me know and kept me informed. I would absolutely use them again. read more

after coming to my home to diagnose an issue with my refrigerator I have heard nothing back. My husband and I have called several times to see about having the work completed. Now the mailbox is full. Seems like they are only interested in collecting a service charge but not actually completing the work. I will be filing a complaint with The BBB. read more

Came out to our house, troubleshot and ordered multiple parts for our dishwasher. After 3 + weeks of no contact from their side, we call and find out that all parts are on backorder and they have no idea when they will be in. They were also going out of town, so even if the parts came in, they would have taken an additional 2+ months to install. Crap service Crap communication PASS!!!! read more

Reading the reviews from years back, it seems nothing has changed. My appointment was made by GE, then I received a call from Tracy's saying they had no idea why they made the appointment and gave me a different date. They did show up on time, however, they may be getting close to 80 years old now . . . the man (technician) couldn't even stand to examine the refrigerator. He brought a stool and instructed his wife to open and close doors, feel for moisture, etc. He then asked me to bring him one of my cushioned dining room chairs. He did not treat his wife with much respect, and at one point when he was on the phone with the GE tech (because he didn't seem to know much about the refrigerator), told him "hold on, I'm here between two yapping women." The issue was not resolved, and even if they could have figured it out (loud noise and frost in the freezer with water on the bottom -- we had only had it for 2 weeks), he definitely could not have worked on it because he couldn't even stand up. Someone mentioned another person's name in one of their reviews, so maybe he is the tech who does the work, but he should be the one to come on service calls. My neighbor has experienced him too and said she would never have him back in her house. read more

There was a loud clicking in the lower right hinge of my new refrigerator door. The Tracy's Appliance Tech came with no parts, made an adjustment, said that should do it and left. Any DIY'er could spend 5 min on YouTube and know that it needs a new hinge assembly. What a waste of time. The clicking came back right away. Called again and let them know the "fix" didn't work, this time the Tech came (7:30pm) and installed a new hinge assembly, next morning there is a puddle under the freezer door from the ice melting and running out of the ice dispenser. He turned the refrigerator off to work on it and never turned it back on so all the food spoiled. I called the owner of Tracy's Appliance. He was arrogant, defensive and unwilling to acknowledge they did anything wrong. He had an inability to take any responsibility for the action of his employee. I told him I don't have a problem that a mistake was made, I do have a problem with how he was handling it. Calling me a liar was not helpful, yelling that he's seen more refrigerators than I have in my lifetime was irrelevant. He had no explanation as to how the ON/OFF button was pressed for 3 seconds turning the cooling off. He refused to take responsibility for the actions of his employees. He was rude and his poorly trained tech did a lousy job that cost me a refrigerator full of spoiled food. read more

I have been nothing but impressed with Tracy's Appliance. The technician quickly diagnosed our oven's problem when two other technicians had shrugged their shoulders, unable to even find an issue, let alone repair it. Knowledgable, trustworthy service. The worst customer service ever! The lady on the phone kept complaining how busy she was. I called a couple weeks ago for service and was told they were too busy to get to me that week. I told her no problem and that was it. I had to call 2 weeks later to find out if they ever scheduled a time to take care of some repair work. She kept complaining! I asked her what the issue was and she went on some rant saying I was accusing her of not getting an appointment set up! Ridiculous! We spent over 2K on our viking stove and they broke a screw in a valve and two of the burners they installed an igniter switch don't work. Unfortunately, they need to retire as age has caught up with them over the years. They just don't have the ability to effectively service Viking appliances. Horrible experience! We were forced to use Tracy Appliance because our Frigidaire refrigerator is under warranty. I called them the first time on August 2 and am currently waiting for them to arrive (it is September 9). The woman who mans the phones, Diane, is exceedingly rude to boot. (She also failed to tell me that I needed the unit to be unplugged 24 hours prior to the service call.) We were also directed to Tracy Aappliance for a service call on our KitchenAid refrigerator. We were given a service date of May 27, 2015, due to a death in the family I called KitchenAid to reschedule. A new service date was set for Tuesday, June 2nd. They were a no show. Upon calling I too was spoken to in a rude manner and was told the factory should not set appointments and that when it comes across her computer they are already booked. I attempted to point out the obvious, why was I not called to the fact they were booked for the June 2nd date? Imagine my surprise when I was informed, rather yelled at me, that she does not have time to call customers. I hope others read the reviews and seek other service companies. read more

Horrible service! We only had them out because our warranty company called them out. They said they were so busy, we had to wait over a week for an appt. They came out, spent an hour hemming and hawing about how they didn't know anything about our dishwasher (originally misdiagnosing the problem), so my husband showed them a YouTube video on the issue it was having, then they said they couldn't get it out of the housing, asked for payment, and left. My son came up and asked if it was fixed, I said, "no, they couldn't get it out", which upon leaving, they said it was not in their contract to move the dishwasher out of the housing. My son had it moved out in less than two minutes. We called them back, about ten minutes after they left, told them it was out, and asked if they could come back, they said "No, we will come back on Monday". Mind you, Thanksgiving is in two days and we have no clean pots and utensils. They don't care about their customers, and I would go as far to say this seems like a scam. They are in their 70's! They did nothing, and then made sure they left with the money. We called the home warranty company to complain, but something is very amiss here. read more

This company was apart of the authorized service provider for Whirlpool. They were to come out to my house to service my appliance between 8-5. Around 2:00 I called them to ask them if they had a round about time as to when they would be arriving in which they advised me that they wouldn't be coming. The man got on the phone and proceeded to call me stupid and that I should have called them directly to make an appointment instead of trusting Whirlpool...DISGUSTING company, DISGUSTING man and DISGUSTING woman. KitchenAid made an appointment with Tracy's Appliance because I was having issues with my Microwave. The appointment was for Friday, 9/18/15. They were a no-show. Not only did they not show up, they did not answer the phones or return any calls. Now I read some of the reviews about Tracy's and I realize I should have reviewed these first. Don't know why Tracy's would ever sign up to do appliance work for these companies if they don't accept appointments from them. Tracy's Appliance is a waste of time.
