A couple of weeks, my dad and I visited the store in Warrenton, VA about half an hour before they closed. We were looking for a new bar for a pole saw. Since Tractor Supply Co. sells pole saws, I thought that this location might be a good place to stop by. When we walked in, nobody appeared to be in the store. After we looked at the different bars in the store's chainsaw section, I turned around and noticed that the cashier had returned to the register. I walked up to her, greeted her friendly with "how are you doing tonight"", to which she simply responded "good". Her tone didn't sound like she was happy to see us. I am not sure what we could have done wrong. Maybe it was the fact that we spoke a European (foreign!!!!) language, or that we had a mask on, or maybe we dared to ask her a question: I showed her a picture of my pole saw and asked whether she knows about pole saws and the answer was "no". Simply "no" and this time, it was very clear that she did not want us in the store. Now I know that this store in Warrenton is not a good place to stop by. read more

Being this was my first time in a Tractor Supply Store, I was not sure what to expect. But it feel's like any other old school, small town hardware store - which for me is a cool and comforting vibe! I went in looking for a long handled scrub brush to use for scrubbing and cleaning out my trash and recycling receptacles, a soft broom for sweeping the floor, and to check out the prices on Chain Saws. They had a number of scrub brushes - I found one that might do the trick. I opted for one with an intermediate length handle instead of the long floor length handle - this just might do the trick! Did not find the kind of broom I wanted. And they carry my favorite brand of Chain Saws - Husqvarna! read more

This is the most convenient location for me, but usually they don't have items in stock. I usually have to travel to the Marshall Tractor Supply Company to find the products that I need to purchase. It's also unpleasant to go to the Warrenton location due to an employee that seems to have a very negative disposition and complains constantly about everything even his coworkers. If I need help I either look for another employee or leave and find the product at another store. I'm off to the Marshall store to shop. read more

This is a pretty neat place for me because, while unfortunately, I do not have large land or a farm or anything remotely like that, I do enjoy the work boots they have. I like looking at the cowgirl boots and I just bought a pair of the insulated snow/work boots. They were on sale for $18 bucks! They have all sizes of full body snow suits. From toddler to adult sizes. Lots of animal food. Not just for your average dog or cat either. I wish I had a use for all the equipment they have there and the tools. Go check it out. - There is firewood available right inside the doorway also. read more

I love when I need to go to TS! This place is great! Whether you're looking for a kind southern gentleman to hold the door for you, a brand new "I'll cut you" knife, a camo bodysuit, a light up metal star, a book on cattle or organic farming, lug nuts, BBQ related ware, a toy farm, a gun safe, or maybe just some horse feed and a brand new baby chick- TS is the place to go! This location is clean and well organized. The staff are helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the last handful of times I have stopped in they have been out of my horse's feed. Ordering online was very easy and much cheaper than Amazon. So I decided to pick up my order the next day. There is probably two other people in the store. I went up to the girl at the register to see where I would go to pick up my online order, she pointed me in the right direction and even requested the appropriate person to come out. Thank you! He went and grabbed my 50 lb bag of oyster shells for my chickens, and three other items. Throws them on the counter, has me sign my receipt and sends me on my happy way without looking away from his computer screen... no bag for my other items so I shoved them in my purse and threw the 50lb bag over my shoulder and left the store. I go into the Marshall, Manassas or Orange Stores they offer to carry out my heavy bags and always offer and place my items in an actual bag! read more

Drove over here from Mt Vernon to pick up two new wheel replacements for my carry-on trailer. I had several questions because it looked like there may have been a price tag discrepancy. Alex spent several minutes looking into this for me. He knew of two in the raincheck section that haven't been picked up yet. Since there was no related paperwork to be found, so he sold me those two. Great customer satisfaction, I'm very happy! read more
