Good points, the store is spacious, very tidy and neat. I think they must have a regular cleaning crew, because it is always pretty clean. However, I think all merchandise is overpriced, unless you have coupons. My main complaint is due to customer service.. I don't feel that comfortable or welcomed in this one. I have always had issues in there finding someone to help. I can never find anybody to help. I end up asking customers. The majority of customer service that I have encountered there has been very short and unfriendly. The same goes for the pharmacy personnel and many of those are rude. Once when I was at register, clerk stayed on a personal phone call the entire time during the transaction.

WE MISS KROGER IN NC! We were meeting a friend in Greensboro for lunch and decided to drive the 90…read moreminutes up to this location to get our Kroger fix. I don't know why we decided to patronize them since the reason they closed all the NC locations was to break the employee's union and many lost their pensions that they were so close to getting. Oh, well, crazy us! The store is typical Kroger all the way. We actually came here for one of their types of toilet tissue specifically that we found at one of their knock off stores that they have in the Midwest called Ruler Foods by Kroger. They're no frills like Aldi where merchandise is just left in their shipping boxes and placed on shelves. It's stuff that either the label has been updated (as we found to be the case with the ones at this Kroger in Rocky Mount) or maybe overstock items. Anyway, we stocked up on the TP that's better than what we'd been getting at Aldi. We did get a number of other items and grumbled all the way thru the place about how the shoppers and employees in NC got cheated by the company in one way or another. I get their newer policy of closing down all checkouts except for the self checkout... of 15 items or less... I asked if someone would open a lane or help up (because of the super large order). Another Kroger opened a lane for us, this one wouldn't even help. Nope, they can't. But there were at least 8 staff in the self check out laner.. if not more. Ok..huge order we were ringing up and every 15 items a staff had to come over to enter permission so we could keep ringing it up. No one would help up, ... one very large man who seemed to run the other staff.... smelled so bad, I was praying he would not come over. He looked like he did not shower for a week, and the smell from him was smelled 15 feet away. Very strong order. Anyways it took is a long time to ring up a whole cart full... and the only help we got was flagging down a staff member to override the 15 item limit every 15 items.. We had to get a back up cart as the food bagging area was not big enough.. No Many things at that store were very dirty. I called the pharmacy for a pickup, yet they would not help me when I got there... meaning, it was sent to another store yet even with ID not one would tell me which store, I was their only customer, yet they would not take the time to look up where for me. Management it not caring about hiring people that care about customer service. I will not go back.
