Wonderful Customer Service folks. Greeted when you enter the store but most important , will get help to load your car with pet food if you simply ask at the front desk. I opened an account with them and every once in a while I earn a "Reward" which subtracts money from my invoice. Such a pleasant surprise.... I can honestly say for the 1st time I am utterly disappointed with Tractor Supply. They say they will match prices, but it seems if it's a sale price they won't. Apples for apples. They left $300 sitting on their counter, when I walked out the door and went to Petco, 5 miles away, to purchase the exact product.... The price for the Soresto collars at Tractor Supply is $63, so for a total of $32, I bought 4, they sold nothing, including the extra $70 in product I was buying.....I'm usually in that store twice a month to buy $47 dollar a bag mealworms and now I'm not sure I can go back. That was until a group of ducks decided to take up semipermanent living in my front yard. My daughter (and I) love feeding them but bread is horrible for them. Kim is the pretty much the only employee with knowledge of the store's products/product location/ and farm animals. She always greets me by name and helps me out. I will say that the rest of the support staff aren't as knowledgeable about products and seem almost incapable of finding out if something is in the back, on a pallet, or arriving next truck day. I've had some major issues with getting chicken feed from them over the last few months. This locations parking lot is what nightmares are made of. read more

We were looking for horse mats and went here to see if they had any in stock. Not only did they tell us that they weren't in stock, but they told us that any stock they were getting was already going to be pre-purchased by a guy building a home gym. Instead of letting us know the other Tractor Supply had them in stock, they pretty much shrugged their shoulders and went back to talking amongst themselves. On the way out I called the Tractor Supply near the Northside and they said they had plenty in stock. We made the trek out there to be greeted, assisted and also had them help us lug the huge mats into our vehicle. Since TSC is a Carhartt retailer I mistakenly assumed that this would be a good place to try on and buy several pairs. I sincerely apologize to the female employee that I evidently interrupted from something much more important. I'm sorry that my question took you away from staring vacantly out the front window. They have a really good variety of items in this store. I purchased items for my dogs and was happy with the selection and variety. My dog will be pleased with the treats. The cashier was smiling and nice. A good shopping trip. The prices were reasonable. read more

After recently purchasing a tractor that requires an overhaul I have made a few visits to Tractor Supply. They carry many items that I cannot find in other hardware or home improvement stores. One thing I do enjoy about visiting is the staff, they are fairly knowledgable, helpful, and take the time to make sure I am taken care of. The selection of hard to find parts, fluids, etc for tractors or items for the farm are impressive as well. The suggestions I have are that there is not a lot of maneuvering room in the store, it is fairly packed, their prices are not always competitive however items on sale are usually a great deal. Finally, if you need to order an item from online and have it shipped to store for pickup, they will charge shipping while most retailers do not, many items they sell are quite heavy, so if they do not have something in stock, the cost of the item can climb quite high, I started to order hydraulic fluid (they didn't have enough for what I needed in-store) for store pickup and the price almost doubled. Other than that, I highly recommend stopping by. read more

Shopped here several times for dog food and dog products. I was previously welcome with my dog who was always on lead and well behaved. On my last visit I was told "corporate" had sent word that animals were no longer allowed because Tractor Supply sold human food. Being unaware of what people food they sold I asked and was told it was the "cokes and crackers". This is laughable since they are advertising and selling live chicks and baby ducks in a large open box right next to the "cokes and crackers". Hoping that the employee had misunderstood the corporate directive I sent a note requesting clarification to Customer Service. To show I was a real Tractor Supply shopper I included a copy of a $150. receipt for my last dog food purchase. Customer Service must be busy hatching chicks and ducklings to sell with their "cokes and crackers" since they have been unable to respond. If you are an animal person, shop where your animals are welcome and support businesses that are animal friendly. Tractor Supply is apparently no longer one of those businesses. read more

He asked another worker if they could look things up. "Do you have a sku?". No, but we have the part in the car. "No, we can't do that" and walked away. As did we. Away to the car, never to return. Ordered a Husqvarna robotic mower online from TSC and they sent out a company called Jaguar Power Sports and Premier Outdoor to do install. Bob the installer did not place a boundary around our three trees and said, after the fact, that the mower would touch the mulch and turn around. Nope! It mows right over the mulch and either gets stuck or spreads the mulch all over. I called Bob the installer and he said give it a few weeks and he would come out and make adjustments. Now the unit is missing the docking station and can't go in to charge unless you go out and manually realign it. I called Bob again and it seemed as if he was ghosting next. That's when I called both TSC and Husqvarna. At TSC's customer service line, Stephen, said he'd talk to management and call me back. Well, I missed his call and then went through the extensive phone tree to call him back and he's on break and apparently the only person who knows TSCs secret response so I wait and repeat the call tree process the next day only to be told by someone else the docking issue is warrantable but for the bad install they would offer me a "discount." How about you cut corners and sent a company that is not recognized by Husqvarna to service this equipment I called Husqvarna and they will cover all charges for me to call an authorized service agent to do warranty and reinstallation work. That's how it's done TSC. Take notes. I am very dissatisfied and will not be buying from you again. read more

I was surprised to see this store with one star for a review. We have been shopping there for a couple of years and have no major complaints. We need large breed dog feed and it is sold out on occasion, but they are always helpful and check the back room and recent deliveries for us. Have to wait in line sometimes, but usually never more than 2-3 people in front of us. Store format is only two registers, so it can create lines and we expect it. Always get good service when we ask for help. read more

This location really needs to get their act together with online orders pickup. I've tried twice and both were failures. It starts out great, you order what you want and they send you an email saying it's ready for pickup. Outside they have 4 parking spaces marked off with gates right in front of the store. Big sign hanging there with a phone number to call to let them know you are there. That's where it all falls apart. I call in and have to repeat my name several times while they search for my order. I'm left on hold for a long time stuck listening to awful music. They finally come back saying they found my order and will have it right out. A word of advice now with the summer heat in full swing, don't pop open that hatchback until you see somebody coming your way. No point letting all your a/c air out cause it's still gonna be a minute or 15 before they actually bring your stuff out. That's if your lucky. On my first visit they told me they'd be right with my stuff, and nobody came EVER. After waiting I finally went into the store to find out what the heck was going on. Whomever had pulled my order had tossed it in the completed drawer without actually giving me my stuff. The ONLY reason I had to go back out there a second time was to pick up part 2 of my original order. No more. Next time I'll try a different location. I'm not fighting my way from Westside through Orange Park traffic on Blanding to this place which is almost to Middleburg for such sloppy service. This is by far the absolute worst online order pickup experience I've had with any retailer yet. Like I said, two trips and both failures. There won't be a third, at least not with this location. read more

This is a terrible, terrible, terrible store. The products are okay, but there is ALWAYS a line of at least 10 people, and there is always a problem with pricing. Buy local, and skip Tractor Supply. The local stores usually have better pricing and are much more helpful, and friendly. Tractor Supply obviously doesn't care about their customers, or they wouldn't DISRESPECT them by leaving them in a long checkout. Quit being so GREEDY and HIRE HELP! read more
