The service was amazing! Jess really took her time and explained everything to us and even gave us some best practices. She let us test out her own personal stash of fountain pens. She was the only one working and was still very attentive to everyone in the store. The selection of pens, gifts, scrapbooking materials, and stationary is amazing! They have a bunch of stuff that I was only able to get in Japan also. The value is also great, prices aren't inflated and being able to get your first ink fill for free is amazing. We are def going back and we'll be participating in their first Friday events and extra Sat events! Oh and while we were there we made a friend with another customer who also loves the store! OMG! I came across this little shop which is not little just today. The owner, Jess and the manager Christine are my new best friends. This Mercantile store has everything that you can think of and and things that you did not even think that you needed, but you wanted. It brings out my creativity. At every nook and cranny, there is something for everyone they have beautiful travel journals, they have ribbons. They have ribbons, buttons, stamps, glues, adhesive, earrings,books. This is a review for their online store. I saw the most beautiful ink only available at this store. I placed an order and it came quickly. They individually wrapped the ink bottle so it doesn't break during shipping. They offer a lot of different kinds of merchandise, not just ink. Will visit again. read more

SEVERELY LACKING IN BUSINESS MORALS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. Got the vintage advent Calendar. Beautiful presentation and lovely packaging. I'm on day two and so far day one was a craft washi tape , day two another craft washi tape.. I was hoping for more stationary items. Since I don't use washi tape, I'm hoping this whole advent calendar isn't just a bunch of tapes.!!! We'll see and I'll update accordingly. UPDATE: i'm on day 10 now and so far I have received five rios of washi tapes, in various scrapbooking papers I guess to decorate your scrapbooking pageMd. The description, for this stated there would be stationary and journaling items. I don't do scrapbooking. I have no use for this. I splurged on this for myself this year and I've been so very disappointed. I have reached out to the company, but so far no replies. Update: I finally was able to locate a phone number, left a message with NO REPLIES. Called again and reached somone. She informed me that since they did not package the advent calendar, they can not accept a return or refund because they cannot resell. I asked her if the items in the calendar were from her store. She confirmed they were from her store. the items are unused and unopened, so why can't they sell them. I think the lack of replies and customer service speak for itself. If I add up the cost of items in the calendar, using the store as reference, it does not add up to $116. I'm so glad I could not afford the larger calendar. This store may have nice merchandise for the scrapbooker, but their morals and customer service are severely lacking. read more

What a great shop! If you love to journal, write, craft or just find the coolest things, you have to check out this store. Jess, the owner, is so welcoming and will spend time with you showing all the goods. She has a great variety of pens, cards, journals, wax seals, gifts, jewelry, perfume, candles, odds and ends. You can easily lose a few hours checking things out. I believe we were there for 3 hours! Lol Brought home lots of cool stuff. This shop is definitely worth a stop. read more
