From the moment I asked where to find my information, the staff's behavior was dismissive and condescending. The manager ignored me entirely, and the sales associates spoke to me as if I were doing something wrong. It became clear that I was being profiled and treated like a crazy person--simply for asking a basic question about a service they advertise. No customer should ever feel unwelcome or singled out because of what they look like, especially at a place that is supposed to care about pets and the people who love them. This experience was unacceptable and hurtful. Petco needs to address how its employees are trained in customer service and ensure that no one else has to endure the kind of discrimination I faced. Guinea pigs, (spiders... I hate even saying that).. pretty sure I am missing some sort of flying soft fuzzy animal with cute round eyes.. You can also find food for your pets, all kinds and more. I have purchased a bird (Indian ringneck) they will hand feed it until it is ready to come home with me. Oh oh oh and guess what, they let me come visit my bird each day!! After I was helped,…read morequoted and put into the system I noticed one employee, a male, seemingly berating another (a female). I was very put off by the interaction. But I said (and did) nothing, my mower was fixed and I went on my way. Fast forward to this year and my mower again needed a tune up. I checked around for other shops but couldn't find one that suited my needs so I hesitantly took my mower back to Mac Daddy. I noticed a difference almost as soon as I walked in. The "office" area mostly consisted of females who interacted with customers and each other in much more positive way than I previously witnessed. The staff checked me in and offered some general suggestions for what I can do to stop the periodic shut downs of my mower. They then had me place a down payment and gave me an estimated time frame for when the work would be finished. The mower was completed quicker than they originally estimated and they called twice and emailed me once to let me know it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the lady who assisted me told me there was an additional charge because they had to replace something that wasn't part of the original quote. They showed me the piece, so I could see what they were referring to. Another employee then walked me out to my mower and had me start it to make sure it worked. My mower has been running great since Mac Daddy Mowers repaired it. Another job well done! And unlike after last visit, if my mower stops working again, I will have no internal dilemma about returning to Mac Daddy for repairs.

They also wanted to charge me 200 dollars just to look at the mower, even though it is insured. After more than a week, my mower had apparently not even been properly inspected or assessed. The way I was treated for simply asking reasonable questions was completely unacceptable. Very disappointing experience.

I started to feel really unsafe about the purchase after a little over a week and a half based on conflicting communication regarding shipping and delivery of the bird, and I ended up formally disputing the sale through PayPal when the seller claimed he could not provide any kind of shipping evidence. I have been contacted by a couple of other women who also claim to have had negative experiences with this seller. I am very thankful I purchased through PayPal, as I'm sure the situation will work out. I still lost valuable time waiting for the bird that never came, along with sleep over all of the anxiety I experienced. We will purchase our birds locally from now on. **UPDATE** PayPal took all of the evidence provided by both sides and sided with me in less than a week. I've been refunded the full purchase price and am so relieved this is over. I'm so, SO impressed with PayPal! The seller has written his side out against me on his page, under the bird I purchased. He actually called *me* a scammer, and is threatening adverse legal action to aggressively pressure and intimidate me. The absolute lack of professionalism is astounding! This has been a really scary experience and a nightmare for my family. My poor son especially was so excited only to be crushed. We are recovering now and are looking forward to a much better experience with a breeder we can visit. I did provide payment in full well in advance of receiving the bird, as is common when purchasing baby birds Emails were generally returned within a few days. So, it's surprising to read the negative reviews here, many of which appear to be from completely unhinged individuals. I think some of these complaints are from people who simply don't understand the timelines involved in purchasing baby birds. You don't just submit payment and get next day shipping. It can take months depending on the age of the bird since they should not be sold prior to weaning.
