Staff is typically helpful and friendly and their stores are clean. Even my daughter loves going to Targee! Be sure you download the app and use the cartwheel coupons. Nice savings on lots of items. Get the card and save 5% on purchases all the time, even gift cards. Always great selections for toys and love their dollar section (well more like $1-5 now). read more

As far as Targets go, this one's top notch. Located within the realm of wannabe Westchase, this shiny superstore features Starbucks, CVS pharmacy, groceries and a plethora of popular departments. Inside is squeaky clean and comfortably spacious. For the most part it's so quiet it's actually relaxing. The occasional screaming child is inevitable at any department store but the size makes it easy to escape public annoyances. The grocery section is a decent size with a mix of basic necessities with Target's Simply Balanced brand. Food is priced fairly but lacking the BOGO's we've been spoiled by Publix with. Target was never my first choice for clothing but my eyes seem to catch cute threads more often. Adorable swimwear for cheap! I was surprised to find so many options before summer started this year. Some departments over-achieve with options while others lack even basic necessities. For instance, you can decorate your home but you'll have a hard time building or repairing anything if you rely solely on Target. Neighbors such as ABC, Michaels, and Petsmart make for a useful shopping plaza. The huge parking lot is clean and well-kept, with a few different ways in and out. I have been in this target quite a bit of times over the last year when I travel this is the target that's closest however I will not be going back. I think I have had enough of going in this target and not seeing any items or brands in here by people of color. I have visited several targets in Florida Florida, as well as other states and counties and have never been in one where there is absolutely no brand by a black person in the clothing section or in the beauty section. I was very disappointed. And then when I went to go ask a couple of different staff members about this, they could not give me an answer as to why this was the case. It took four people to tell me where the Chapstick was located, which was another thing that was very disappointing. It was overall not a great experience. Usually I am in and out, but this one particular time I wanted to see if they had any items that I was specifically looking for, and they did not. read more

Their Drive Up now includes perishable goods. That's worth an upgrade to five stars. I've managed to avoid Target Drive Up this whole pandemic. How? My friends do it and they always ask if I need anything. Don't worry, I'm not a moocher, my family does the Costco runs so we have a mutually beneficial thing going. Before I didn't really have a need to do Target Drive Up. You couldn't order perishable items, so why do Target when I can order those things off of Amazon? Well, now they allow perishable goods. It's a total game changer. It's still a little restricted (like I can get full fat Oat milk but not low fat Oat milk, random, but I'll live), but overall I was able to choose everything I wanted. Eggs? I got it. Cheese? Totally there. Oat milk? Like I said, only my full fat Oatly, but I'm flexible. You just go to the app, put everything you want in the cart, and click "pick up". You click when you're ready to come (you have like 24-48 hours, I forget the specifics, but I love how I can put in the order in the morning and then go whenever I have time). Then once you're there, you either have your location on so it lets them know you're there, or you click that you're there. Then someone brings your groceries to your car, you pop open your trunk (I now know how to pop open my trunk), they scan your bar code, and you're good to go. It's amazing. I LOVE TARGET!! This stores location is always clean and always well stocked. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If I can't find what I'm looking for they will see if they can order it online and or find another store that has it. I come here quit often to get anything from groceries, jewelry, clothes for me, clothes for the kids, to makeup. I can come and literally spend hours in here. Plus the kids love it I think they like it so much because it's so bright and it's not only a mommy store but an everyone store. Plus the dollar spot. I've never felt the need to write a review for target even though this is my second home. I want to give a huge shout out to Bella and Zach. Especially Bella. She has the sweetest personality in the world. They were both incredibly patient, and did not make us feel rushed even though we overstayed our visit. At closing time we decided to apply for a red card and while having technical issues with our barcode and app. We took an extra 30 minutes to leave but no matter what they were still incredibly patient and kind. Everyone loves target, but this location has been so gray during the pandemic. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. Curbside pickup is such a blessing for parents who don't want to go inside with their children unmasked. It is an effortless system and I've never had any issues. The staff are always smiling and happy. I put in an order in the evening and everything is ready by the morning. The big game changer is the addition of adding produce and cold items to curbside pickup. Thank you, Target! We of course still go inside and are happy to see customers are following the mask rules. The store is clean and the social distancing markers, plexiglass at the register, and hand sanitizer locations are great. I am so thankful for this location and the staff working endless hours and risking exposure to covid19 to ensure the community can have access to fresh food via curbside. read more

This Target has the best Pharmacy! Barbie is awesome!!! I come in every two weeks to pick up my RX and they know me by sight. You can't beat that for service. Like every other Target, they too have an "Admission fee", and by that I mean, i can't leave any target without paying my "ticket" price.. I always find way more than I originally came in for. If I went in for toilet paper, I walk out with that, plus a new video, some books and $100 worth of merchandise. I just love shopping at Target! read more

I've been a Target fan for years, probably since the first time I stepped foot inside my first Target over 15 years ago! This review is specifically on the drive-up pick-up service at the Target on West Hillsborough in Tampa. I've been trying to take advantage of new services businesses are offering during this pandemic to minimize risks as much as possible. Sometimes you just have to go inside a store, but other times it is easier to order things online and pick up at the store. I have tried Target's in store pick-up option in the past & was really pleased with the convenience, so I thought I would try the drive-up pick-up they are currently offering this time. The service is as easy as it could possibly be! Go online or on the Target app & place your order, select your store, and select the drive-up pick-up option. Within about 4 hours my order was ready - but I had a few days to pick it up and could even ask for an extension of a few days, if needed. When I got to the Target parking lot the designated areas for drive-up pick-up were easy to spot, even a few aisles away because they were tall & bright. Once I pulled into one of the designated spots I opened the app & clicked that I was there to pick up my order. In less that 5 minutes a friendly staff member (in a mask) brought out my order & scanned the code on my phone (to verify who I was). Then, she offered to place it in my trunk or back seat & I was done! While I love spending time walking through Target and finding cute things I never knew I needed, I may start using this option more often. It does help eliminate impulse purchases (when seem to happen a lot at Target), and takes a lot less time than going inside & waiting in line when you're busy running errands. read more

Target sold me a printer that didn't work. I lost the receipt so I thought I was stuck with it. After spending hours on YouTube trying to figure out how to get it working I gave up. A coworker told me I could return the printer without my receipt. I made a second trip and spoke with a staff member who assured me I could return the printer without a receipt and even without the (already recycled) box. The only catch was I may end up with store credit or not get full value. I didn't care, I just didn't want the printer in the landfill. I made a 3rd trip and had to deal with Iyres and Carlos. A terrible experience. Not only did they contradict what I was previously told, but Iyres tried to send me through the store looking for similar products, their boxes and bar codes. I asked why she couldn't do it. She didn't respond. She apparently just wanted to get rid of me. It was all just a waste of my time. Particularly frustrating because I now know I can't count on anything the Target staff tells me and I know they don't value their customers or their customers' time. At the end of the day losing my receipt was my fault, but the experience after makes me never want to shop there again. I should've purchased from Amazon! I love this location! It's right across the street from my apartment and it's a Super Target so it has everything! Meaning I come here for almost everything. Today, I just came to pick up trash bags. The last time I came, my husband and I bought some home decor items and desk accessories for his new job. Almost every time I come, I stop at the Starbucks inside to get an Iced chai. I also love they have the order pick up so sometimes I'll buy clothes or shoes online and then just swoop in and pick them up to skip the delivery fee while also grabbing some eggs or something else I needed for a recipe. It's clean, the employees are really nice, and it's target so of course the product selection is always great. One of my fave neighborhood stores! read more

I wonder how fast security would come out if I stood in front of this Target with a bow n' arrow and tried to hit that red bullseye in the middle of their logo. Hum??? I hate reviewing large chains, especially grocery stores, because every store is the same. They might change the layout but once you've seen one, you've seen them all. So this review is less about this specific store, but Target in general. They've come a long way in the past 15 years. They have completed rebranded themselves and changed their whole image. By 2000, they we're just another low-brow discount retailer - no better than K-Mart or Wal-Mart. They were a Fortune 500 company but really nothing stood out about them besides maybe their logo. In 2015, they are viewed as sorta a boutique department store. You can say they've become a big-box discount retailer that people actual enjoy shopping at. Everyone knows they offer higher quality merchandise than most department stores, while still maintaining relatively low prices. I wouldn't use the word "exclusive," or "premium," but they are probably one notch below those words. Wal-Mart is bigger, makes more money and is a little cheaper but seems to cater to the bottom end. They're cramped, customer service sucks and not aesthetically pleasing whatsoever. Not a fun place to shop at all! I will go out of my way to avoid Wal-Mart and don't mind paying a little more, at all, to shop at Target. And speaking of price, there isn't THAT much difference on most items. I haven't been to a Target store in the last five years that didn't look new and clean. Target HQ has done a great job of remodeling all its stores with a bright and pleasant atmosphere. And kudos to them for partnering with Starbucks, my all time favorite chain. Who doesn't want to sip a hot cup of Joe as they shop? Makes sense to me! Wal-Mart partnered with McDonalds, which explains why you see a lot of fat people shopping there. Okay, off the bash Wal-Mat wagon :/ This review is supposed to be positive. I wouldn't say I love Target but I admire the way they've turned themselves around. Americans love a good comeback story and that's exactly what Target is. I don't generally review chain department stores, but there is something special about this Super Target that just takes it over the top. First, this is a SUPER Target, which means that in addition to all of those wonderful Target values on clothing, housewares, and cleaning supplies, you also have a full-fledged grocery store with some pretty terrific deals on fresh, fruits, veggies, frozen, canned, and packaged food. You won't find a butcher shop or fishmonger, but they do have a lot of pre-packaged meats. You'll find this Super Target just south of the intersection of W. Hillsborough Avenue and Montague Street, which puts it real close to people who live in Westchase and Town & Country. The store is huge, very clean, and open late -- all great pluses in my opinion. Since this place isn't right around the corner from my Carrollwood condo I'll usually wait till I have a good shopping list, and then combine my trip to Target with dinner out at one of the many restaurants in the area. read more

I like this Super Target. Not only is it the closest one to me, but it's always clean and in order. Now that Best Buy closed down, the strip mall it's in is not as busy, so parking is never a hassle. The Starbucks in this Target is pretty good too. You aren't going to find prices in Target that are better than 'Wally World' for name brands head to head, but the specialty brands that Target carries are of quality. Target also has quality house brands. I don't know where else to buy quality 800 count Egyptian Cotton Sheets for only $99. (I've tried them from Homegoods/TJ Maxx/Marshalls, but those pill up even if they are of high thread count). read more

We moved to Westchase in November 2019. As a result, we had to switch from the Target that we used to shop at to this location. I'm not sure why, but this Target seems to frequently be out of stock on a large number of items in the grocery section. Not sure if it is just a distribution issue or nobody is restocking shelves, but there are always huge holes in the shelves of the popular items. Publix and Winn-Dixie have them, so I'm not sure why a Super Target would have issues getting them. read more

Large, full service location. It's a "super" Target so there is a full grocery section as well as the other departments you expect. And this location has a Starbucks. We were here for vacation sundries (snacks, groceries, toiletries, etc.) and were able to find all we needed for a good price. Though naturally we were distracted and had to check out waaaaaay more than we actually needed. I was particularly distracted by: - the new Fixer Upper (Chip & Joanna Gaines) display aisle. Candles smell amazing and they have lots of cute products for reasonable prices - their vast assortment of cube storage bins - the oh-so-many types of Swiffer products (ok, my Canadian-ness is showing...we get one type. If we're lucky.) - the beautifully lit cosmetic section - the cute tropical patterned rompers/jumpsuits in the juniors section - the enormous snack section My concern was the store was pretty empty on a weeknight after work hours. I am highly disappointed with my experience with Target. I am expecting my first child in June and made our registry through Target as I've heard nothing but great experiences from friends who has registered through Target. I received our registered gift Graco DuetConnect LX last week and my husband put it together a few days later and it ended up having a bad battery. We called Graco and they didn't have an available battery and instructed us to go to Target to exchange it. Once we got to Target, they informed us that they couldn't exchange it unless we paid the difference as they can only ring it up as the lowest price. Our guest paid the full price for the swing and we provided Target with our registry information, the order confirmation and shipping information and they still said we needed to have our guest send us the receipt. It took us 30 minutes to get the information from our guest because our registry information wasn't enough. The experience was such an inconvenience. I am afraid to continue to have our registry through Target if the gifts we receive through our registry through them keep having issues. This is the last thing I want to stress about while 29 weeks pregnant. read more

Checking out at this Target can be time consuming. I've experienced several incidents lately where only 1 cashier is open and there are 10+ people standing in line. Of course you can always use the self checkouts if you want to scan and bag $200 worth of groceries. We brought the issue to a store manager's attention and was told the registers are staffed appropriately based on historical projections. Really?? Based on the manager's flippant attitude, I decided to warn others that you could end up with a long wait at this store. I accidentally exited through the entrance and the security guard made me turn around to through the other side. Really? There was no one else around and it was kind of petty. I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly helpful the service is here! Let's being... so it was down pouring and I was with my baby with no umbrella and a cart full of groceries. On my way out, there was staff by the door waiting to see if anyone needed help to their car. I cannot thank the manager enough who helped me to my car with an umbrella. He waited with the umbrella while I buckled my daughter in and then walked around until I got in the car. Not only was this spectacular, but I then pulled up front while he loaded my trunk with my purchases. This really made my day and I cannot thank them enough! Keep up the good work! I gave the cashier a $50 bill to pay for a $6.97 purchase. When I got home I realized I only received the change for $20. I called the store and was told that the employees that can look at the tape had left for the night. I called the next day and was told the camera images are fuzzy because they were from the day before. Carson was trying to be helpful and said he would send an email to Kat and asked if I could call her the following afternoon. I did and she knew about it but had to call me back after she checked on something. Kat called back and said, "Yes, we do see a $50 bill was used and I can give you a $15 gift card". I said, "No I want my $30 back". She then said she couldn't see the actual receipt, etc. Long story short I have to drive back to the store to get my money back. She couldn't reassure me that I wouldn't have a new hassle once I got there. I really would have liked at least one apology for the inconvenience. My local Target just happens to be a Super Target....YAY! I like this Target because it offers me a Starbucks spiced vanilla latte as I'm shopping and it also has an optical shop inside, giving me the flexibility of picking up my contact lenses and the necessary household items. As with any Super Target, it also offers Einstein bagels in the bakery section, but I do notice that the supply can get low at times. read more

Before I discovered Aldi, this was my spot to buy groceries. Something about the staff here, particularly Lois, makes the trip special. The friendliness of it all. They allow doubling up on coupons, and you can save an additional 5% on all purchases by signing up for the Target debit card. =) The store is always clean and orderly, which makes for smooth sailing while resupplying on a lazy Sunday. read more

Target is one of those stores I'm never super sure about. They have some great products, but the quality usually is not much superior to Walmart, and the prices are usually a lot more. This Target store is actually one of the nicer ones in the area. Its fairly clean, the employees make sure to keep everything on racks and nice and orderly, and there are always plenty of cashiers. My biggest two gripes about this store, and the only reason it does not get 5 stars from me, is the fact that they tend to run out of items, and they like to hide items in the store. I've gone to Target looking for some Target exclusive items, and this Target a lot of the time will be out of them. Now, I'm not sure if its because this Target is just really popular, or if they just don't order enough, but it can be a little annoying. I've also gone and had to wander around the store multiple times trying to find an item. This occurs most commonly with the seasonal items. That Christmas item you saw in the Target circular could be in the Christmas aisle, could be on a random endcap somewhere in the store, or could possibly even just be up at the register. Its impossible to tell, and have the time I've asked employees, they don't know either. Other then those two minor complaints though, I love this store. Its always my go to store when I really need something and I highly recommend shopping here. read more

I live pretty close to this Target and can usually be found there more than once a week. This is your typical super target (not updated or as fancy as the super target at Clearwater Mall) and is usually my go to store. I love the drive up option (as a mom of 3 this comes in super handy!) I would give the drive up 5 stars! My biggest complaint with this store is the grocery department. They seem to run out of things frequently and their shelves don't seem to be rotated on a regular basis. Maybe I'm just used to Publix in that respect and that's a big expectation to have on other stores but it's one thing that does frustrate me about this store. Other than that the Starbucks (which I visit often) is run very well the staff is very friendly, and efficient. I will say this Target has some really great employees too they are always very helpful and friendly. Overall, this is a good place to shop! read more

I'm a fan of Target in general, and this Super Target is pretty great. I love the selection and sometimes you can find awesome deals. They are a bit pricier than Walmart, but I always can find helpful employees and some cute items. Sometimes I do wish that they just put all their clearance items together, instead of being scattered on random endcaps here and there so you have to search the whole store to find these discounted items. The items that they post in their weekly ads are usually a good deal though if they are what you are looking for. read more
