During a service call, the technician determined that my washer needed a replacement part. He…read moredidn't have the part with him and told me he could order it, or I could purchase it online for less money. I chose to order it myself based on his recommendation, and he returned to install it. Just a few weeks later, the washer broke again. When I called the company, I was told that because I had purchased the part myself, neither the part nor the labor was covered under warranty, and I would have to pay for another service call and repair. I understand why they wouldn't warranty a part I purchased elsewhere, but I don't understand why I have to pay again for labor and another service call when the repair failed so quickly. More importantly, the technician never explained that using my own part would void any warranty on the labor. Had I known that, I would have made a different decision. Customers should be aware of this policy before deciding to purchase their own replacement parts. ****Response to below***** Mark left a voice message first stating that it was unfair that I gave a one star view and that he would repair at a discount in order for me to properly rate his company. I returned his call and told him I stood behind my review. The technician didn't state to me that the labor or warranty would be null and void if I got the part from Amazon; the very part that the technician helped me order on Amazon. He gave me the part number and pointed to it before ordering. Yes, I didn't read the fine print. I trusted that the technician and the company he worked for would not steer me wrong. I never said during the phone call that the labor was not the problem. How would I know which failed the part or the labor? I only knew that my washer was broken again. Mark offered to fix again for yet another fee. I declined. The trust is gone. We have all needed repair companies. When you find one that is great, you use them over and over and pass their contact information to others. The same goes when you find one that doesn't have your best interests. I read all the one star reviews for Hartman. The responses from the company are all condescending and quick to say "not our fault". These are the companies that should be avoided.

My partner and I came here TWICE because our A/C unit in our apartment is not working and we're…read moretired of calling them to have them fix it only for nothing to be done.... So Lowe's to the rescue! We got our first unit for the living room pronto. I didn't know much about portable units, so my partner and I got some help from one of the employees who was actually not only empathetic, but was able to answer all our questions and give recommendations about what would be the best choice for us. We left buying one fan and a new portable unit for the living room, which is currently still running strong so we're not sweating and suffocating. Fast forward a few weeks later... I have to buy ANOTHER unit for just the bedroom as we haven't been running the apartment's unit AT ALL due to it plain not working as well as leaking. Back to Lowe's we go! We had two other very helpful employees assist us on getting a clamp for the hose as well as a new smaller unit for the bedroom. I love how the employees were friendly and took their time explaining the warranties and protection plan to make sure we get the most out of our purchase. I'm happy to say we're no longer sweating and dying at our apartment thanks to Lowe's!

Lowe's subcontracted the delivery to RXO (formerly XPO Logistics), whose driver caused over a grand in property damage to three separate properties on November 11th, 2025, as well as almost hit my neighbor. The driver was uncommunicative, had to be flagged down from leaving the scene, and did not speak a word of English. Property 1 received massive tree damage that required removal. The driver also damaged the mailbox. The mailbox at Property 2 was completely flattened. Property 3 received damage to the mailbox and the rock structure around the mailbox. I included pictures of all properties, as well as receipts for the damage, and even pictures of pieces of the truck that the driver left: again, that's literal pieces. Despite Lowe's direct role in arranging and profiting from the delivery, most of their representatives have repeatedly attempted to shift responsibility to RXO, directing me to contact their representative or speaking with them on my behalf. I received most of it after threatening to take them to small claims court but am still waiting on $150. Meanwhile, do you think this asshole company offered me even a coupon after all this? No - Well congrats, you lost a customer and I share this story whenever I can. Way to embody everything people hate about large companies. To RXO - eff you for putting unsafe drivers on the road. I hope your business fails.

My backsplash came out amazing and it is my favorite part of my entire kitchen remodel. The only downside I can say is that I wish I had found ProSource Wholesale before I redid my bathroom showers. I will forever be a customer, and have already started to recommend Travis to my family and friends. I hope Travis gets a huge raise, he is such a great asset to this company. It's so rare to find people in the service industry who are not only passionate about what they do, but about the people they interact with too. He was genuinely excited to help me. Truly just a rarity to find these days and a breath of fresh air. Remodels can be stressful, and he just made the process enjoyable and well thought out. Can't be more pleased -Deanne Wilson

Parts were ordered he returned to install them a few days later. But the machine still leaked. I pointed out that I had replaced the lower door seal. He inspected and adjusted that seal and the machine stopped leaking. A few weeks later, it started to leak again. He returned and reinspecting the machine, pointed out that it was generating bubbles. We apparently have been getting had or manual dish soap into the machine when we load dirty dishes that have been sitting in the sink for a while. We will modify our behavior and we have learned some tricks for dealing with this issue if it happens again. Bottom line, we have our dishwasher working again, the repairman was very polite and diligent, and we were not charged for follow-up visits. We would use this company again.

Update--Changed review from 1 star to 3 stars. Excellence Appliance made good faith efforts to resolve the original microwave oven installation issue. First technician left us with an oven which was not leveled back to front. However, after communicating with their custonmer service, and at our request, a second technician was assigned to our install. He was skillful and knowledgeable and worked with us to correct the leveling issue, and the swinging door problem has been resolved. We would recommend Excellence Appliance for this kind of microwave installation . _____________________________________________________________________
