I soon learned that Lowes gouges and way overprices items like the attachments and accessories you buy in addition to the appliances. For example, Lowes charges almost three times what it costs online to buy a water filter for a fridge. Just bought some ceiling fan light bulbs that were $5.99 at Lowes and I noticed they were $2.99 for the exact same bulbs at walmart. The service level has gone down also. I seem to remember 3-4 years ago that Lowes had some experienced people who would approach you and ask if you need help. The last few times I've been there I walked around looking for stuff with no customer service. Kinda like walmart now. Never buy anything here unless you have done some research to compare prices. I might decide to pay more for stuff if it was for a local business but not for a huge corporation. I will look everywhere else besides Lowes for hardware next time I go shopping.

They were also very rude when we called with the issue. I would recommend Surplus Warehohse for the prices, but I will not be using the Nacogdoches location for my future needs. We are unable to find a sink that even fits the cabinet that they sold us. When we tried to call and ask for suggestions on where we could find a sink that fits, they said that it wasn't their job to know what kind of sink would fit. They couldn't even suggest a place that would have a sink that fits their cabinets!

But the repairman is NOT Certified on Lawn mowers as he disconnected the Safety wires to the Left control arm on my Zero Turn mower! Then he tells me NOT to let the mower idle in high (full throttle) because it turns or crawls to the left. After calling Sears and talking to maybe 20+ Sears agents, there is not anyone who will call you back to see what in the world is going on. I was told of (3) three different email address's to send pics, video and my complaint to and still nobody has called me! I've been telling those Sears workers they need to be seeking employment because at this rate Sears Hometown won't be around much longer. Leslie On Oct. 28, 2021 a technician was supposed to show up. No one shows up but that NUT of a repairman filled out the Sears estimated cost and signed it with an X. But the other times he doesn't fill out any Sears Estimate anything? WTF!!!!!

Tried to purchase a refrigerator today. I could pay with cash, check, or card. I was not allowed to purchase it without a Sears credit card. Was told by the salesman that he could sell me anything on the floor as long as I used a Sears card. As much as I'd like to support my hometown store, I will NEVER be doing business with them again. Absolutely disappointing.
