The associate was very friendly and helped me to get my car to the correct bay for the change. I was able to verify the new tires for the DATE CODE. I always like to check so I know the tires are not old. I went to the waiting area and sat down. The technician came in and said the lift they had would not fit my car the way Honda made the frame, and the other lift was out of service. It would probably take longer than the hour that was told to me at first. I said, well, I need tires, so go ahead, do what you need to do. No sense in getting mad about it. I was very surprised when they sent me a text 52 minutes later and said I was done. WOW. They were very quick to get it done. I am very pleased with the tires and the service. I highly recommend Walmart tire service for your tire needs. 5 stars.

Its a Wal-Mart. It has everything…read more Its actually one of the smaller supercenters I've been in, but it has a decent food section, and like most every other Wal-Mart you're going to find most all the basics you need at a reasonable cost. If you live in the Taylorsville area, you're probably going to be headed here at least once a week as its more convenient than the mega Wal-Mart supercenter in Conover and certainly closer than driving all the way to Hickory. So why bother to review a Wal-Mart at all? Maybe I'm jaded from living in the city so long, but I find the staff and customers at this Wal-Mart some of the friendliest people I've ever encountered. I've never been in the store and not found the aisles and shelves tidy. There are always plenty of registers open. Always a friendly face to help you find something, or help you out if they are out of a sale item. But what truly amazes me .... I usually come in here for 1 or 2 items. Without fail - and without so much as a sigh or exasperated look (I swear, just in line like everyone else), I'm offered to "jump ahead" by the customers already in line with full carts. Just such nice friendly folks here. Its actually a pleasure for once to visit a Wal-Mart.

I am on the fence with this store's customer service, I have accepted that it truly depends on the day, ie., the crew on that day's schedule. I go here when I need to do my bulk shopping or if it's not available online for delivery to my home. I, personally, prefer to order & get home delivery for my bulk items like paper towels, toilet paper, laundry and dish detergent. However, this store does have a better meat selection than other locations. Warning: I do not recommend this store for pick up of an online order. The pick up area is in the very back of the store at the restrooms and you will have to wait for the assigned staff member to arrive to assist you then wait on them to locate your order. It is not like other Walmart's where the pick up area is in the front of the store with a dedicated staff person that simply unlocks one of the orange bins your order has been placed in. Taylorsville's Walmart simply has not grasped that pick up orders are centered upon the concept of convenience where a customer walks in and immediately walks out with no waiting or exchange of money. The staff literally act as if you haven't paid for the item yet and trail you to the front of the store. Inexplicable!
