The area that I needed to shop mostly in was in the dark. The lights were off. I was straining my eyes the entire time looking for items. Most of the merchandise was not priced or had a shelf tag. It is very unorganized and feels dirty. I was one of a few customers shopping, there were 2 women employees complaining loudly to each other over another employee and when I was trying to shop another aisle a male employee, ignoring me, acted like I was in his way as he kept his eyes down throwing merchandise on the shelves. I told the cashier I would've purchased more but I could not see and things I would've bought were not priced. She responded by saying she thinks they turn the lights on around 5:00pm and that there are so many price changes that they can't keep up with pricing products...REALLY?? I work in retail myself. If you care about your job/store and making sales, clean the place up. I will drive out of my way from now on and shop at the Rochester NH store which is CLEAN, well PRICED AND have the store lights ON with super FRIENDLY employees.

The former much smaller Wal-Mart was located down the hill across NH 28, which is now an Ocean State Job Lot. This 24 hour Wal-Mart Supercenter is pretty clean and the staff here seem friendly. This store has a similar atmosphere and layout as the Manchester (Gold St) and Hooksett locations with concrete floors (warehouse-like), food market area to the left, apparel/jewelry/housewares/furnishings in the middle, photo lab/books & magazines/electronics/office supplies in the back, outdoor merch/automotive in the back right, toys section/garden center on the right side of the store and a Subway in the front of the store. Similar to Manchester (Gold St), the pharmacy/health & beauty things/cosmetics sections at this store are located in the front right side of the store. The pharmacy in the Hooksett and Concord stores are located across from the food market section near the center of the store. I've bought many items from the Derry Wal-Mart Supercenter including big picture frames, magazines, fresh produce, salads, Lawry's seasoned pepper, cold drinks (beer & wine), personal hygiene items, OTC meds, toys, wipers, spray paint, calculators, movies, blank media, shoe laces, jogging shorts, and many other things. This Wal-Mart can get very busy at times and the checkout lines may get long including the self-checkout lanes. They will usually page all available associates to the registers when it gets this way.

This is a combo store- housing both a Homegoods and a TJ Maxx in the same building. The store is good sized, bright and clean and has a ton of checkout registers. Lots of nice stuff- sheets, towels, bedding, art, and so much more. I saw many staff being busy and milling about assisting customers so that is always good. I got some pet shampoo for a good price- even better than local pet stores and online!

The selection in the…read more men's and boy's department is decent and seems huddled in the front right portion of the store in a place dominated by lots of women's clothing towards the left and middle of the store with girls clothing in the back. That explains why my Mom has been enjoying shopping at TJ Maxx for many years and has even given me weird looking shirts and pants bought from here. As a kid, I kept begging my Mom to let me do my own shopping and I'll even use my own money from my after school job. Once I was able to drive, I went shopping alone at different and picked out what I wanted to wear with my own money. My Mom would still buy me clothes at TJ Maxx, some I liked and would wear often, others would sit in my closet for years. Over the holidays, I now receive TJ Maxx Gift Cards, which are very useful and lets me choose what I want and still get the bargains. Presently, I've found some good deals here on dress shirts & pants, athletic wear, and polo shirts, and a lot of Izod apparel. I take my time checking out mish mash of clothing on the clearance racks which are organized by size. TJ Maxx also stocks toys, housewares, kitchenware, handbags, jewelry, snack food, Harry& David snacks (discounted prices-YUMMO!), and a lot of cool clearance items. You'll never know what you'll find!

This location in Derry is significantly bigger (with the ghost of Walmart everywhere), better selection of merchandise, cleaner, brighter and well organized. The staff even seemed more cheerful. Hubby got some nice new cotton golf shirts for $5, and one Cutter & Buck golf shirt for $10. I found a new 5'x7' carpet for the computer room for $50 and more organic fertilizer to use on next year's garden. And several other miscellaneous items. We had a well stocked buggy by the time we made our way to the cashier. Can we go back tomorrow, Dearest? I'm sure there's something I missed. ;)

There was only an already build hutch, not one in the box. Michelle helped me load the hutch into the back of my suv on this VERY hot day. Unfortunately it didn't fit. She went inside and grabbed a screwdriver. Helped me take off one leg section etc. for it to fit inside my SUB. She stayed with me the entire time and piece by piece helped me put into my smaller sized suv. Michelle's dedication to customer service went above and beyond especially helping to great extent outside in 90° weather when she could've left me to deal with the hutch I already purchased on my own. People like Michelle are sadly very rare these days and I'm beyond grateful for her kindness and assistance. If corporate see's this review I hope she is acknowledged fully for her great work. I have a customer receipt from 8/24 offering TSC pellets at $5.69 a bag with an additional $25 off for a total of $284.50 per ton. In my area, Westford MA the same TSC hardwood pellet product is being sold @ $6.79 per bad discounted by the ton the total is $329.50. The difference is $45 per ton and I intended to purchase 5 tons saving me the buyer $225. However, I called TSC corporate and spoke with a rep who told me they would not price match despite their website claiming they would. I would like to report they claimed honoring price match is at the discretion of the store manager and not what corporate policy clearly dictates on the website. I told them I have a receipt I will gladly submit and they would not take it, denying the price is relevant. My request to speak to someone higher up in leadership was also denied. My call on their side is Reference # GSC1221005.
