This store offers plenty home goods, hardware, yard supplies, electronics, music & movies, seasonal decorations/supplies, baby stuff, toys, health & beauty things, groceries from around the "world", snacks, drinks, apparel, pet supplies, and a big section in the back left corner with furniture and mattresses. There are plenty of clearance items throughout the store too. This store unfortunately does not have a book dept, which Ocean State Job Lot offers. I stopped in here recently and this store was offering 20 percent off everything in the store for one day. I picked up a $5 pair of headphones and a $6 USB adapter/card reader for my SD Card/MS Duo media, which was discounted by 20 percent to $8.80. The staff here worked efficiently and the two lines of customers moved swiftly.

That explains why my Mom has been enjoying shopping at TJ Maxx for many years and has even given me weird looking shirts and pants bought from here. As a kid, I kept begging my Mom to let me do my own shopping and I'll even use my own money from my after school job. Once I was able to drive, I went shopping alone at different and picked out what I wanted to wear with my own money. My Mom would still buy me clothes at TJ Maxx, some I liked and would wear often, others would sit in my closet for years. Over the holidays, I now receive TJ Maxx Gift Cards, which are very useful and lets me choose what I want and still get the bargains. Presently, I've found some good deals here on dress shirts & pants, athletic wear, and polo shirts, and a lot of Izod apparel. I take my time checking out mish mash of clothing on the clearance racks which are organized by size. TJ Maxx also stocks toys, housewares, kitchenware, handbags, jewelry, snack food, Harry& David snacks (discounted prices-YUMMO!), and a lot of cool clearance items. No service at the Registry and Pickup line, until all of the Returns line is serviced - another 10 minutes. Then they say, "There's only one line." Apparently no one's bothered to fix the signs over the two counters. This was my second time attempting to pick up the same order. I cannot for the life of me get a successful pickup order from Target. Is it a defective online account? Is it this store? Not sure. Multiple emails saying my purchase is ready for pickup, and the store can't locate it. I gave them my drivers license, to ensure they spelled my name right, still nothing. And, for some reason, they think I'm going to come back a third time and bring in my laptop for them to scan a barcode for the order. They've some underlying long unresolved bad assumption or glitch in their ordering system.
