I didn't even know this North Olmsted location existed until my friend told me recently. LOCATION -- This Walmart is located right across from the shopping centre called "North Olmsted Towne Center" which has Target, David's Bridal, Party City, and other shops. I hardly visit Walmart because in the past, at other locations, it is always hectic there with long lines and customers complaining. My experience at this location though was smooth and calm. Maybe I came early in the day when less people were here (I can't remember) but I had a no-hassle experience. I haven't been back in a while but hopefully it is still a neat and clean store. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 18/365 total reviews in 2025 - 799 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 January 2025

Lobster bisque and other soups was like $2 we even went to another Walmart after and the soup was more expensive for the same product though! My friend stocked up on soda - everything $5-$7 for a 12-18 pack of everything he wanted. We had so much fun shopping and we got everything we wanted - I bought some lip colors and lip gloss too. I'm so happy my friend loves soup and soda he saved a lot of money shopping at Walmart too! Great place. The one at Parma town did not have the snoopy hoodie I wanted in my size all they had was extra small so we decided to roll up on this location I found one large hoodie !!!! It made my night :))

Of my hundreds of reviews, this is the first time I have ever reviewed a Walmart location. Why?…read moreBecause they're pretty much all the same. This one, however, is to be avoided. Our daughter lives here as a patient of the Cleveland Clinic, and we traveled from Houston to spend Christmas with her. The trip to the local Walmart was supposed to be easy. However, it was anything but. First, the shelves were half empty -- no exaggeration. I totally get that when a weather event is on the way and everyone is stocking up, but temps are in the 40s in the Cleveland area this week, and several locals have mentioned how warm it is for this time of year. So, throw that excuse out the window. Secondly, I saw no fewer than 10 employees with pallet jacks hauling products around the store to restock ... except they were shooting the breeze. Meanwhile, they were almost out of orange juice, milk and even Coca Cola. While the place seemed relatively clean, it was disorganized. I chalk all of that up to very poor management. When we arrived back home, I mentioned that the place was like shopping in a third world country, and that many of the patrons acted as if they were the only people in the store -- blocking aisles, turning right in front of us -- and our local family members acknowledged that such is normal around these parts. I can't write a review on rude people in general, but I can definitely say that they seem to congregate at this store. My two stars are generous for this location, especially after hearing that my experience here is par for the course. Needless to say, I don't think management here will be receiving any bonuses or promotions anytime soon.

Many of the employees are too busy chatting with each other, or blocking the aisles with their online shopping order carts, to even notice that there are customers trying to get past them. They do not seem to care. The lack of cashiers is ridiculous, and the yellow vest "leads" stand around watching the insane lines form. 20+ minutes to give you people our money is insane. This store is obviously poorly managed. The pictures I am submitting with this review should be mortifying to any of the Managers/ Supervisors associated with this store. Wake up folks...there are a lot of options out there for those of us who are disgusted with what the store has become. Aside from the Pharmacy staff, your store is really pretty pathetic.

Attention Walmart Management: selective receipt checks are not customer service…read more I shop at this Walmart regularly because it is close to me, not because the experience is pleasant. Most of the greeters at the door are polite, but one employee consistently acts as if he has the authority to target certain customers while ignoring others. He reminds me of one of the Minions, but with less intelligence and permanently seated and located right at the front door. On my most recent visit, after I completed my purchase at self-checkout, where every item is scanned and the entire area is heavily monitored by cameras and staff, this employee watched multiple white shoppers and other customers with full carts walk straight out without being stopped. Then he chose to single me out and ask for my receipt. That did not feel random. It felt selective, discriminatory, and intentional. If Walmart is going to rely on self-checkout, surveillance, scanners, and employees hovering over customers while they ring up their items, then selectively stopping certain people at the door only adds humiliation to the experience. It sends a very clear message about who is viewed as "suspicious." I called the store immediately afterward and spoke to a manager named (COACH whoever), but the response was dismissive and gave me no confidence that this behavior would be addressed. That was just as disappointing as the incident itself. No customer should feel racially profiled, targeted, or harassed after paying for their items. Walmart needs to do better training its employees and managers, because selective enforcement and discriminatory treatment are unacceptable. No wonder they have only 2 stars!

I picked up a 7inch sub sandwich and a bag of chips. Total cost was $8. The total overall flavor was great. I do wish the sandwich had some veggies on like lettuce or tomatoe. The value wasn't there for me. Subway offers for the same price veggies. So maybe I'll consider the next time stopping there instead. But. I will say the selection of quick and easy lunches is very good. But. The problem is. It took me almost 6-8 minutes of walking back and forth looking for them. The signage isn't high enough. It's actually lower than eye level. So all the signs blended in together. I understand not all signs can be high. But I think the important ones should be. To attract the shopper to these fast moving purchases. And quick lunches are fast moving. People want to get in and out and going. The location of them is slightly off the main aisle. So that took time trying to find them. The store is super clean and I can't say I interacted with employees. But I wish I did. But the numerous employees who walked past me didn't even acknowledge me at all. I love meijers. And I'll be back. Maybe next time I will have a better experience.
