I've been shopping at this Tractor Supply for over 15 years now. They have a great supply of whatever you need for inside our outside care of your home. Their prices for certain items may cost a little more than the big box stores. Parking at this location may get tricky, especially during the holiday seasons, being that it is part of a very busy shopping mall. Service here is always great but at times can be a little bit slow. All the registers are upfront and all the customers have the funnel in one line. So if you come here, try to come if you're not in a rush. read more

It is not often that I find myself inside a Tractor Supply store. The first time I walked through their doors, I was shocked at the diverse selection of merchandise they carry. They sell everything from pet food to tractor supplies to automotive supplies to fruit trees to clothing to sporting goods and everything in between. Very impressive! I needed a Cowboy hat for my godson's theme birthday party. Found a nice one here. I didn't notice that I had been overcharged until I checked my receipt and the tag on the hat a few days later. I returned to the store. The clerk on duty did not give me any problems. She gave me a refund of the difference with no hassles. Customer service is terrific. Tractor Supply is a cool place, and it is great to have them in town. read more

I attended the vaccination clinic at Tractor Supply in Bakersfield and had a very disappointing experience. The store was full of people waiting with their pets, but there was no clear line, no check-in system, and no one directing customers. I asked several store employees where the line started and no one seemed to know. After searching the aisles for quite a while, I finally found the vaccination clinic staff. There were four clinic staff members present, and from what I could see they were mostly standing around talking while customers and their pets waited. By 7:00 PM only eight animals had been vaccinated. At that point I learned that my number was 28, meaning I would likely be waiting for hours without anyone having communicated that to customers in advance. When I expressed concern that customers had been left standing around for so long with no information about the wait time, I was told they "didn't need my business." Fair enough. If that is the attitude toward customers, I'm happy to take my business elsewhere. I will be cancelling both my and my husband's Tractor Supply credit cards and will not be shopping here again. A simple check-in system, clear instructions, or honest communication about wait times would have made a big difference. read more

My husband and I came into this store for the first time looking to purchase chicks and everything needed for the very first time. The staff was absolutely amazing! We spoke to multiple staff members that day asking what they would recommend to purchase including feeder, heat lamp, pine shavings, etc. and overall the best way to care for chicks. The staff was happy to help, very knowledgeable, and had no problem taking time out of their work day to assist! I stopped here this week to buy some bird food. As I locked my bicycle to the leg on one of the heavy duty shelves outside I saw my friend. I went over to talk to my friend for a few minutes. An employee came outside and started giving me shit about my bike being locked up there, said I had to move it and go. What chickenshit, petty assholes these people are. Terrible service. I went in less than three days ago to purchase a training collar for my new puppy. I told the sales rep that I know nothing about them and he recommended a specific model that is supposed to be reliable and easy to use. It worked for two days and stopped working. So I contacted the store and I spoke with a manager named Brandon. He proceeded to inform me that because I did not purchase the additional warranty from them there is nothing that he can do even though the product is less than three days old and it's malfunctioning. read more

Horrible Customer Service!!! We have been shopping here over 10 years and can't believe how lazy and discourtious the employees AND Manager are now. They must have advertised specifically for jobs for uneducated, lazy, customer haters. We spend close to $400 per month on our livestock and pets. The previous employees and Manager were always helpful and caring. My husband is approaching 70 yrs and I am disabled. They used to offer help getting all the feed to and into the car. Now, if we dare ask for help, we are told every time that they are too busy. When, in fact, there are employees just standing around doing nothing!!! You need to be totally self sufficient shopping there cause no one will help you. We have caught the salesperson and the Manager both lying about not having a sale item which we then found ourselves. Rosedale Farrier Supply will be our Go To for the livestock and Petco for the pets now due to such bad service. read more

This store is crazy fun and like us we have a daughter who lives in the mountains and has chickens, goats and rabbits, so my husband thinks every time we go up to see them we have to go here and take them supplies. I think we need to scoop up a few of those adorable baby ducks in my opinion and take them to my grandsons. The staff in this store are like from another state, so friendly its like we are in the south or something. A lot of how are you today and can I help you find anything. The inventory is so fun to browse you could spend hours just looking at all the interesting things. Except my husband thinks he needs half the stuff in there so this is a very very dangerous store for us! There is any kind of feed for any kind of animal including pets, dogs, cats, birds and farm animals. Cages, pens and feeders. Hardware of all kinds, thats the scary department as my husband is in heaven all the little man accessories that they need in their garages. I know anything for them to make any project easier makes him happier is good. But I'm still impressed by the staff. Staff still checking on us to see if we need help with anything and if they can get us a cart or put our big bag of feed up by the check out. I still was over by the brooder box eying those baby ducks they are so cute. They have baby ducks and baby chicks around easter time, I'm sure they may have them throughout the spring but right now they are in demand. They have lots of stuff for your garden and riding lawn mowers lined up like soldiers outside ready for someone to take home and manicure their huge lawn with. So much stuff that all looks like work to me but fun to look at. When we checked out they all asked if we found everything we needed and have a nice day and come back soon. Why would you have a Mask Required sign outside your business of you're not going to enforce the rules. I asked one of your staff and he said we don't enforce that. That's your business choice. But why half ass it. Just remove the sign. Or change it to " we don't enforce the rules put in place so we can stay open or help make you safe" I sure someone wants to politicize this. What a cool place! We did not find what we were looking for but we have a really cool place to go now for our pet needs! What a great selection and prices were decent too! Friendly staff! One customer had brought in his 2 dogs and staff were offering treats to the pups! So, dog friendly is TSC and this has made me an instant fan! I have several planted aquariums. One of them had to be rescaped and I was looking for a new substrate. I like the look of black colored sand and read on the internet that Tractor Supply had some. What they had is a black diamond sand blasting medium grain and a few hobbyist were happy with. I went to the Rosedale / Calloway store friday afternoon expecting to buy one or two bags of sand. I get it and the young male cashier asks me what I am looking for. Told him I want to see the black sandblasting sand that they have. He asked what I was going to use it for. As an aquarium substrate, I said. Oh no, you cannot use this for that. I told him a lot of aquarists are using it with no issues. No, you cannot use the black diamond sandblasting sand. They let local rescues hold adoption events at their main entrance every now and then, which is where I found my forever fur baby. When it came time to prepare my home for a pup, John helped me pick out a doggie igloo, bed, and high quality treats which are manufactured by them (their brand); meaning if my girl didn't like them, I could return them no problem. And because I adopted a rescue, I got 10% off my purchase. John took great care of us and was knowledgeable in doing so. I'll be back! read more

I will never come here again. It's 7:00pm on October 28th and I'm writing this mobile on my phone because I'm so disgusted. I was checking out when I heard an employee, Teresa, call somebody "retarded." I gave her a clear look and she didn't seem to get it. I said "that was offensive," and she said "oh well!" Ten seconds later another employee walked up, who is Hispanic, asking a question for a customer. It was clear. He said "do we carry long john underwear?" And she rudely said "WHAT?" He repeated it. She said "HUH?" So I said "long John underwear." She said "yeah, over there!" The employee went out to tell the customer. As soon as he walked away she said "GOD ITS LIKE JUST SPEAK ENGLISH." I felt SO AWKWARD. he was speaking perfect English and she was disgusting and just so rude. When I was walking away I heard her talking to the man behind me and clearly (she is the loud and obnoxious type) said "can't understand beaners!!!" So disgusting.
