I was never told there would be extra labor, because most places install a battery for free when you buy it from them. When I got the invoice, I saw extra charges that were never disclosed: a $40 battery check that their own sign says is free with a battery purchase, a $10 labor charge, and a $9 shop supply fee when no supplies were used. When I questioned it, I was told it was a mistake and labor was actually supposed to be $50. That was never quoted upfront. If I had been told the total was going to be $300+ I would have just driven 4 blocks to AutoZone and bought the same battery for $180 with free installation. I had a similar issue previously when I had windows done. I was charged $250 for labor for a 40-minute job done by one person, while I watched from across the street, and was told two people worked on it. Pricing was not transparent and changed after the work was done. Be very careful and get your total out-the-door price in writing before you agree to anything. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Also note that when I pulled my credit card out, their machine charged it cuz I said how do I pay cuz I didn't recognize the machine. It didn't have a card swipe and he said it was already paid for.Just by me holding the card it charged my card this chip is so dangerous. I'm very good at reading faces too. The fat man lied to me when he told me it was labor and the face that the kid had was that of disgust because the fat guy went and blamed the kid for the mistake he did not do. It was never $50 labor they just didn't want to refund me so now unless they have a written quote that they handed me they can do what my credit card.

I paid for a tune-up and specifically asked the staff to check all fluids and make sure everything was in good condition. I was assured that everything, including the transmission, had been checked and was fine. Less than a week later, my transmission began slipping and struggling to go into gear. I had an independent mechanic inspect the vehicle, and he discovered that the transmission fluid was extremely low or effectively empty. We attempted to refill it and see if the transmission could be saved, but the damage had already been done. I was ultimately facing a repair estimate of roughly $5,000 and ended up junking the vehicle and purchasing another car. To this day, I cannot understand how I was told the transmission was checked and in good condition when I experienced such a catastrophic failure immediately afterward. Unfortunately, this was not the only issue I experienced. On another visit, I was told my vehicle was ready for pickup. When I arrived, I was then asked to wait because the oil service had not actually been completed. I watched the technician finish adding oil after I had already arrived to collect what I had been told was a completed vehicle. I also had to return because a plastic component was left in my back seat after service and had not been reinstalled. One mistake can happen anywhere. Multiple incidents involving quality control, communication, and attention to detail are much harder to overlook. The financial impact of these experiences was significant, and I have never felt that anyone took responsibility or provided a satisfactory explanation. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this shop and would strongly encourage customers to seek a second opinion on any major service recommendations or inspections.
