They tried to ask me to pay over $5,000 extra to continue to "diagnose the problem" and at that point I said no. This doesn't seem right. Took the car to my aunts trustworthy mini guy, and guess what. The problem was exactly what they said it was. Just the key fob. They also checked everything that MSpec said I should get replaced, and they did it for the smallest fee. I walked out paying $500. Go to Meadowbrook Collision in Freeport for your mini. I took my C300 to this shop and asked for a replacement of my backup light and washer fluid hose. Not the most difficult of work and the guy even assured me it would be fine. He ended up replacing my backup light with a used bulb that was dim and charged me 50 dollars for it. Next, he "replaced" my entire washer fluid reservoir when only the hose needed replacing . A panel from the bottom of my car ended up falling out 2 days later and all my washer fluid fell out. I ended up leaving with more problems than I had because I had to find someone who could put the panel back up. Avoid these people if you can.

I recently found an honest and good mechanic shop Called Central Valley Auto repair. Mr. Muhammad is a very nice man and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I have been hearing and feeling a grinding noise on the right side of my Ford explorer truck for a while. I kept postponing to get it fixed due to not knowing any shops i felt i could trust. I started looking online for the best shops near me. I came across Central Valley Auto Repair. I took my car there and spoke with Mr. Muhammad, he said I would have to leave the truck and he will inspect and give me a call. He call me back shortly with a great quote for the parts and labor so told him to proceed with the repairs. A few minutes later he called me again and stated there was more issues that needed to be addressed with the repairs. The quote for the additional parts and labor was also great and fair. When I went to pick up the truck Mr. Muhammad informed me the truck was repaired and better than when I brought it in and if anything is wrong with his work to bring it back and he will fix it. As I drove the car home I kept thinking to myself this car is riding amazing feels like it was new. Before I reached home I got another call from Mr. Muhammad asking how was the car riding. I did, and sure enough, they made space for my car immediately. They were busy, but somehow got me into the bay right away for a diagnosis. No BS, no trying to sell me, they didn't find anything broken, and Arnold, a brilliant mechanic, commenced with the wheel alignment. Sure enough, my front left wheel was WAY off. He fixed it immediately, and even got me in for an oil change. My man. Affordable alignment, wonderful communication, clean shop. I could not have been happier with the service and they got my Merc back on the road in tip top shape.
