It's sandal season and I needed to get my feet prepared. I showed up to TP nails at open, hoping they could get me ready. I was the very first customer and was greeted with a smile. Kim took me to the pedicure chair immediately and began to work. Not sure if it was just the day I was there, but the phone began ringing almost as soon as they opened. People were requesting appointments for the same day. So I would suggest calling ahead as early in the day as you can. My pedicure took about an hour and I'm pleased with the results. Best people ever! Called them with a bridal emergency. At the reception the bride had a nail break all the way down the nail bed and it needed to come off. Called them as they were closing and they waited for us to come and took care of the nail and filed all the rest of them down for her. They were kind, patient, caring, and helped ease the bride's nerves through the whole process. They did a great job and did it very quickly so we could get the bride and groom back to the reception. After we left, they called us back to tell us that they left a new bottom of nail glue outside their door for us just in case she needed it. Hands down some of the best service EVER! Such a great experience! I came to this salon kind of on accident. I live in Cumming and was looking to make an appt in Dawsonville- I thought I was making an appt off of 400 but it turns out I made an appt here- so happy I did! From the moment I walked in they were welcoming and I loved Raymond he was amazing and made recommendations and was spot on. I had Titi for my feet and I just loved her too. When the guy started to do my nails I asked an almond shape but I felt as if that is not what I have received. Alongside not getting the shape I asked for , every cuticle on my hands has been cut in some way and is pretty painful. I would say stay away if you can. read more

I was able to make an appointment the same day I was a little nervous about everything going on with this COVID-19 but my mind was put at ease when I arrived. Every time I have been there without an appointment (about 5 times) I have had the same older man, I think his name is Ty. I leave with every single one of my cuticles bleeding from him using the drill. Every time. I keep going because it is so convenient and close but I think I am officially done. this past time I went was just a horrible experience in every way. He got up in the middle of doing my nails to go smoke. Came back inside smelling absolutely horrific, and to top it off he checked his phone every 5 seconds. They did a great job on my nails. I'd give them A 5 but there was just one little thing. They guy did a wonderful job but was just a little rough with the file... he was like sawing at my skin and made me bleed. He apologized multiple times and felt super bad. I was a little nervous to get my nails done after being in quarantine for so long but I went for it, and I went to the right place. It was easy to make an appointment (and I appreciate them only taking appointments and limiting the amount of customers in the store as some salons do not). As soon as I walked in my temperature was taken. The technicians were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. They are taking every measure to ensure their customers are safe. They spray and wipe down chairs, tables, etc. They wore masks and gloves. I felt so comfortable despite having been nervous to go. To top it off my nails look fabulous! I will be back! read more

When I first got there, I noticed one of the workers asleep in the pedicure chairs. Walked out with my nails looking worse than they did when I came in. They let my hands sit in the dust from taking off the SNS nails and did a poor job with the polish. read more

So, I've noticed this nail salon in the parking lot with Food Lion and I've been a bit skeptical. It's new, but it's not super busy when I go by. Also, you never know with nail places. They definitely have the potential to be sketch. And near the top of my list of disappointing expenditures is when I pay $30+ for a pedicure and the massage chairs are bad or they only use a stone on your feet... and your like... I could have done that in the shower. I don't like to try the new places... BUT this is so close to my house that I could walk there. And, my old place is in Canton- not close. So, I decided to try it this morning. I haven't had a pedicure in like 3 months because I dropped a glass on my toe and instead of getting stitches or going to the doctor at all I just propped my foot up until I lost the capacity to bleed and asked my husband to take a look at it when he got home from work. We made the wrong decision not going to the doctor and I haven't been able to get a pedicure for like 6x longer than usual. (Slight exaggeration) All that to say- I was kind of scared that they were going to hurt my toe. When I accidentally run into things, like every other week, I'm reminded that it is still pretty sensitive. I go in and there are a few people there. It looks pretty nice. They also have the color I want- which it one that I have been eyeing on pinterest for the last 90 days. I tell the lady who asks that I just want a pedicure. I sit down and she clarifies between the deluxe and the regular. $20/ $28- with the deluxe also adding a mask and more massages. I choose the latter. Glad I made that choice- but more on that later. So the chair looks good and is clean. I couldn't figure out how to do the non-programmed massage, but it's a good chair. Everything they used smelled awesome. They used an interesting scraping thing on my feet to get the dead skin off- which I really like. When she put the mask on my feet, she gave my a neck and shoulder massage while the mask was setting. Awesome! They also gave me a little Christmas gift bag when I was leaving with a small bath and body works lotion and a 2012 calendar magnet. So cool! I will definitely be back! I went in today to try something new. I called before I left the house to make sure they take walk ins (they do) once there, a woman immediately recognized me as the one that called. It was packed so I take this place is best to call ahead. I was sat about 15 minutes later. My manicurist saw the color I chose and recommended a new, better one. I went with it and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! (Number 113 in gel). The manicurist really took her time, never jerked my hands around, and it everything about the manicure is just beautiful. She also did my eyebrows and they came out perfect. I have definitely found a new favorite and will be back soon! read more

I got a really bad fungus on my fingers. I was getting the Gel polish. I will not be going back! I also have a friend who has gotten a fungus/virus on her thumb, 6 surgeries later, still on an IV pump at home, still looking at more surgeries including plastic surgery...
