** UPDATE** I was contacted by the GM at Uptown Audi, and he…read morehas gone out of his way to resolve this situation as quickly possible. I would really like to thank Fred Marmugi and the staff at this location for listening to my concerns about this issue and addressing them. While it obviously took a little while to get resolved, Fred contacted me personally and ensured this was dealt with and completed to my satisfaction. He had no obligation to do so, and I would highlight this fact. Thank you VERY much guys ********** Recently I took delivery of my Audi Q5, and what should have been a smooth, problem-free delivery turned into a headache. Back in May, I visited Uptown Audi to shop for a 2018 Q5. I've had my eye on an Audi for several years and had already visited Midtown Audi and was met with indifference, and uninterested salespeople. The salesperson at Uptown was quick to answer all my questions, and went out of her way to help me and make me feel welcome. Everything from getting me water, to taking me for a test drive, to follow-up emails to check-in on me after my initial visit. After the debacle at Midtown, this was great: to feel like the dealership genuinely wanted my business. One of the items I had asked about was the Q5 roof crossbar, which I considered purchasing for extra cargo or a bike rack. To my surprise, the salesperson told me "that's standard" with the purchase of the car, meaning no additional cost. I asked several times, in person, "so, the crossbar is standard?" and she confirmed each time. I also asked, via email, that I was receiving the crossbar, and this was confirmed via email as well. Fantastic, right? Nope. Fast forward to several months after signing, and it's time for delivery. I had given 3+ weeks notice (being out of town) of the day I would arrive, and lo and behold: several items are not ready. The wheel locks cannot be found, the cargo tray is not available, and the crossbar is not available. After agreeing to return the next day, I received an email the following morning (the day AFTER the delivery date) saying "sorry, but the crossbar is not standard on the 2018 model." It was suggested that when I come in for the other items that I speak with the sales manager, and maybe an exception would be made. Apparently, that was a very weak "maybe." Arriving at the Audi dealership, I fully expected a higher level of customer service... as in: "Hey, we here at Audi made an error, we'll fix this. Here is your crossbar" instead I was asked to compromise and pay several hundred for the crossbar, and they would foot the remainder. How is that a compromise? I understand that a mistake was made, and these things do happen. But it was not a mistake on my part whatsoever: so why am I even dealing with this? On Sept 11, 2017 I was contacted by my sales rep who asked when I was coming in to pick up the crossbars. This was a bit of a surprise as I hadn't anticipated hearing about these crossbars again, and was simply coming back to finally have everything installed on my vehicle (Audi Connect and Wifi). My final experience with Uptown Audi took place on August 18, 2017 when I arrived to pickup the crossbars. Immediately I noticed that these were scuffed/dirty and obviously used (photos attached). I didn't say anything on the spot because I'm REALLY tired of dealing with this dealership, and its sales staff. I'm not sure if I'm angry or amazed at this attempt to patronize me with what Uptown Audi feels is "fair" for this entire experience. Absolutely everything else pertaining to this vehicle has been great, but this experience has left me questioning whether to return to this dealer at the end of my lease, or even recommend to my friends/family. Extremely poor choice in customer service. +1 star because the vehicle has been great... otherwise this would be a 1 star review.

Worst dealer experience ever. I purchased a brand new Audi…read moreQ7 on December 23, 2025, and the vehicle required repairs immediately upon delivery -- completely unacceptable for a new car. When I raised the issue, Sales Manager David Yip was extremely rude and told me to "STOP BARKING." The General Manager, Fred Marmugi, was threatening and refused to deal with the matter by walking away and closing door at me. This dealership shows zero accountability, zero respect for customers, and behavior that does not align with the Audi brand. I strongly regret purchasing from here and would not recommend this dealer to anyone expecting basic professionalism.

Overall, the service is ok. They offer pick up and drop off service if you need, but the pick up and drop off times can be underwhelming, they can't really promise a good estimate for time frames, so it is usually best to just wait. Next, the up sell, know what your car needs. The dealership may try to get you to buy something you don't on the spot, so make sure you are aware of your car before you end up with a bigger bill than you need. Overall, the service is generally good. Bring a nice cup of your favorite beverage, and have a break while you wait for your car to be serviced.

In late December 2025, I went to DVN Hyundai to get a new car. During the initial sales meeting…read morewith my sales advisor, Hanan Laccheb, everything was pretty normal, and we closed the deal. So far so good. My wife and I asked her whether the tires from my previous car would fit the Hyundai. She said yes. We wanted to make sure that it's a firm yes, and not a "I'll say anything to close the sale, even if it's not true." So she called one of her colleagues from the service department, to make sure, and he confirmed that the tires will indeed fit. Perfect. A few days later, she calls and says that the tires will fit, but the rims won't. A bit deceptive, but I can give her the benefit of the doubt. She then dropped a giant pile of work for me: 1. Go to my previous dealer to get my all-season tires. 2. Take those tires to Canadian Tire to get new rims 3. Take the all-season tires back to my previous dealer for storage, since I couldn't drive on them, as it was still winter. 4. In the spring, drive back to my previous dealer, to pick up the all-season tires. 5. Bring those all-season tires to Hyundai for replacement. I wasn't exactly amused to have this giant project, driving all over the city, and spending additional money that I wasn't planning on. A few days later, she messages me again, now saying that the tires won't fit, either - after telling me repeatedly that they will, and even checking with the service department. And I have it all in text. I reached out to the service manager to get this rectified, and he "kindly" told me that he'd get me additional winter tires and rims that fit for $825. But that would be added to my lease. So the original deal that I got with Hanan was a lot less sweet after that addition. Was it pure incompetence on Hanan's part, or deliberate deception? I don't know, but neither one is good. After this experience, I'm not opposed to getting another Hyundai in the future, but I will never work with Hanan Laccheb as my salesperson again. UPDATE: After I originally posted this review, I got a response from DVN Hyundai, basically apologizing, and giving me an email to reach out to, to make things right. So I wondered - did they really mean it, or was it just a corporate PR strategy of "we'll respond to our negative reviews, so that other people looking at them can see. But we don't plan to actually follow through on anything. It's just optics." To test it, I actually emailed them. No response. I emailed them a second time, and got a response. It turns out that the company responding to these isn't DVN Hyundai, but Weins. They told me to email DVN Hyundai. I did. I didn't hear back. I followed up a week later, and still didn't hear back. So the conclusion is pretty clear: any response to negative reviews is really just a corporate PR strategy, without any substance behind it. I was already displeased with DVN Hyundai to begin with, and gave it a 1-star review. With this new experience, if I could give a minus 5-star review, I would.

Simon Wong, the salesperson I was talking to, was knowledgeable and quick to provide me answers, photos, and even tips to saving more money on my purchase. When I ultimately decided to schedule a visit and test drive the car, Simon was flexible and accommodated my visit within a few hours of notice. The vehicle was in amazing condition, and Simon was helpful to show me all of the quirks and unique features it had. After the test drive, I felt no pressure whatsoever to finalize a purchase and I was given the time and space to decide whether or not I wanted to go through with it. When I eventually decided to buy the car, Simon and everyone at Town + Country was just as friendly. I didn't have any pressure to purchase add-ons, and I was even given tips for seminars and rebates to save more money. Even after I've already purchased the car, Simon has been very helpful continuing to keep communication with me as I ask more questions about the status of the car. On the car side of things, the vehicle was detailed very well and felt like driving a brand new model despite it being a 3-year old used model.

I decided to test drive it and i heard some noise in the rear of the vehicle like as if something towards the rear of the car was loose. At that time, i did not have much experience buying a vehicle so i brought up the noise to the salesperson with me in the car and he said he didn't hear anything. After the test drive, i proceeded to check the trunk area and everything seemed fine to me. So i went inside and i asked to see the carproof and it came out clean - the sales manager and the sales person both assured me that the car was accident free. I was suspicious as to why it was being sold as a used vehicle and not a certified pre-owned vehicle since it seemed to be in great condition - but i decided that i was probably overthinking things. Fast forward 20 months and the noise in the trunk has gone from mild, to bad to worse. I have had this car checked with 2 body shops since and they both confirmed that this car definitely had been in an accident and was not properly fixed. There is also obvious uneven gap on either side of the trunk which i did not notice since i was only able to visit the dealership in the evenings and frankly was not very savvy at buying cars at the time. To sum things up - I am absolutely convinced the dealership knew that this was not an accident free vehicle, i was able to tell within 6 months and i was untrained. Not all accidents show up on the Carproof as not all of them are reported and go through insurance. Make sure you thoroughly check ANY used vehicle you purchase from this dealership. If you don't have experience with cars, bring someone who does and take it to a mechanic before you buy. and ABSOLUTELY check the car in the day light as its easier to notice inconsistencies. Do NOT depend on the Carproof. I never went back to this dealership to talk to them about this issue because i knew they would plead ignorance and tell me they had no reason to suspect the Carproof. Be smart, learn from my mistake.
