Bought used 4-runner from AA Toyota. I was desperate (pandemic era) and they refused to budge on high price/needed repairs even though had been on lot long time. I paid their full price, and our compromise was a written agreement that I could buy at their cost a back hatch panel when ready to replace, no time limit (it had characteristic extensive rust). When I returned for the hatch, ownership had changed and new owner would not honor. And it took a long time/repeated calls/slimy answer/issue dumped on lowest employee who was clueless. I've asked repeatedly to be removed from their mailing and calling list to no avail. I've been in sales a lot of my life, and do not begrudge making a profit for the business. But it's the second time I felt taken advantage of by them as they make it clear that their priority is cutting corners to their favor, not customer service. I live 2 miles from them, and I will be driving any distance needed to buy my next (new) 4-runner from ANY dealership but them. read more
