Yikes! I'm honestly not sure where to start and really hate leaving a two star review for a family run business in a small town, but I really do think they need to take a look at their business model. If anything, I hope that this review helps the owners to reconsider some of their offerings. First off, there are multiple cars parked in the parking lot making the average passer buyer think that the restaurant is extremely busy. It does seem like they are known for their Italian food, but they also offered breakfast. First off, I don't like anything special for breakfast. I am very happy with scrambled eggs, a biscuit, bacon I ordered just that, scrambled eggs, a biscuit, and bacon. It was honestly horrendous. Again, I really hate saying this because I know that it's family run and in a small town, but I think they need to reevaluate the breakfast situation. I know that breakfast food is pretty bland, but this was beyond bland and not worth the money. The girl that was seating people that morning was not friendly at all, and we didn't even know that we were supposed to follow her. I definitely hope that their Italian is better than the breakfast, and maybe they should reevaluate the business model. TLDR: Horrible service! NO service actually. Food decent but overpriced. 0/5 stars for "service" My husband and I unfortunately ate here today. There were only 4 occupied tables when we were there. The hostess seated us, took our order and brought our food. That was the end of any "service" we received. The actual server was too busy knocking condiment bottles together to get the last drop of them into the new bottles. She never once acknowledged us. When a party of 3 were seated behind us, she'd finally stopped banging bottles and served them. She looked over at our table and just ignored us. When I flagged her down to asked for a to-go box, she said ok then continued to clean another table. She told someone else to bring it to us. When I asked that person who our server was, he literally said "How should I know?" He asked who had taken our order. When I told him the hostess did, he then said, "That's your server." She sat at the cash register the entire time never once coming over to check on us. The actual server couldn't be bothered. She was rude and couldn't care less. When we were paying, the hostess asked how everything was. I told her the food was fine but the service was nonexistent. The "server" was standing there counting her tips (I have no idea how she had any). Still no acknowledgement, apology from anyone, nothing. Apparently another table felt the same as us. After finishing their meal they stood up, threw the money on the table and walked out. There is a plaque on the wall saying "Today's special. Take it or leave it". That sums up their attitude perfectly. The food was decent. I had pancakes with a side of grits. The pancakes were good sized and tasty. The grits were actually good. Not watery like a lot of places. I'd give my food a 3.5/5 stars. My husband had a breakfast burrito and hash browns. He says everything was bland so he asked for hot sauce. When I asked him what he would rate the food, he said 3/5 stars. Everything was priced individually. They up charge for paying with a card. Our server came immediately but was very hard for us to understand since her voice was quite soft. For the first time ever, I failed to consult Yelp before picking a breakfast place. Huge mistake. Food ranked as the worst breakfast we'd ever had and rating was only salvaged by the dog friendliness of the place. We were able to sit outside with our pup and were able to secure a water bowl. Do not bother with the hashbrowns. Cold and stale - not even salt and pepper could save it. Croissant was ok and pancakes were fine. Grits were horribly bland and gelatinous. The kicker was the price - since there was no kids menu, the kids had to order from the main menu. I came here because it was the only place near by that sounded good. I came in, the place looks interesting, nothing crazy, fairly bland. One of the things I noticed is the music selection. It's amazing. I love the music selection here. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and that was the BEST bacon egg and cheese I've EVER had in my ENTIRE life. We came at night to the Italian restaurant that opens at 3 pm. We got the baked spaghetti special and meatball sub sandwich. Both were excellent. Not only was there no seasoning, the bacon came it cold. We ordered the steak and eggs and I was extremely worried that everything came out in less than 5 min. The smoky mountain area is known for pancake and breakfast places. I've been wanting to try this one for quite sometime ever since I saw their sign. It's off the path of the tourist area and has great views of the mountains. I'm a huge fan of these pancake places as anyone can see in my reviews. This place isn't quite the level of the others. There's not much emphases on pancakes which I think should be if you're going to have a brand of a pancake house. There should be an option to include pancakes with some of these meals on the menu. We were surprised to see that it was also an Italian restaurant We both ordered the Linguini Alfredo It came with soup or Salad the food was great Tasted homemade as a matter of fact We returned the net night for dinner I had Spaghetti and homemade meat balls my wife had the Lasagna again the food was good.
