Love love love this place. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. I felt staff got along well with each other and looked out for one another on each shift. Kitchenette was fully equipped with everything you could need. We needed a larger pot for chili and front desk had one in their inventory. No pressure to return it after usage. The closet in the room held a ton of luggage comfortably and made the room spacious after arrival. Breakfast was good. Not once did I see items not available day after day. I like to get a little creative with my breakfast. There's lots of toppings for your oatmeal, waffle maker, pork sausage patties & turkey links, bacon, frittata, boiled eggs, salsa, condiments, breads, cold cereal, juices, coffee with flavored creamers, butter, peanut butter, jelly, and cream cheese. There's soy milk, skim, whole milk, and yogurt. Room was exceptionally clean. I didn't see any bugs inside the room nor any used items from prior guests. Only spiders outside the window at night but hey they're outside living their lives. There's a heated pool which a lot of guests were thrilled to used during fall months. There's a small outdoor sitting area with firepit. Convenience food available 24/7 to purchase and complimentary coffee in the breakroom. 24/7 Gym is equipped with fresh towels, antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, weighing scale, water refill for your tumbler, flatscreen TV, 1 Peloton, 5 treadmills, free weights, mats, stretch training bungees, and medicine balls. Guests self-laundry is $4 for washing and $4 for drying. Cleaning staff is friendly, very thorough, and fast. Maintenance guy was cool and made a few repairs for us next morning after requesting that evening. Book here and enjoy the views of the ponds on both sides of the hotel. Was okay the staff was friendly. Room was clean , but it's kinda located in the middle of nowhere. Was so close to Newport area but then not. I missed walking around in Newport. Dog friendly though so that was kinda cool. Bed was comfy but no real view at this hotel , just looking at a highway. Free parking. read more

New pet friendly property. Located close to an exit of I-195 and directly next to a Hampton Inn. The rooms are clean and well organized. The staff are helpful. The breakfast is the typical TownePlace offering. There is a large grass area where you can walk a dog. read more

First of all, I'd like to say that Emma & Aubrie (front desk employees) at this hotel are TOP NOTCH! They were so nice & friendly. Aubrie would talk to our daughter about her past work at Disney & they both made us feel at home. However, don't be fooled by the modern aesthetic of this hotel. We checked in for a long term stay, found the exterior to be infested with a flying insect. There were swarms of them all around the hotel grounds. Our cars were covered in them every morning. There were piles of dead insects at the entry ways .. it was disgusting. But what is more disgusting that that??? ... When they make their way indoors!!! Initially we were on the first first floor when our room became affected by the insects. At first they were just in the hallways, but when they made their way inside our room, that is where we had enough. The staff told us we could move to a room on a higher level, where the insects hadn't made their ways into the rooms, however, we had to wait a week for a room vacancy on a higher floor. In the meantime, staff would come use the hand-vac along the windowsills, where the insects were located. Keep in mind, we only stayed here, because there were literally NO vacancies at any hotel within a driving distance to the clinic where I was working. At the end of the week, we moved to a larger room on the 3rd floor. We were so happy to have more space, a full kitchen, and a separate bedroom! However, on the 2nd night, the insects made it to our rooms via the A/C vents. After our 2nd night in our one bedroom unit, we woke up to insects on our comforter, some still alive, some squashed from rolling around on them in our sleep. Our ceiling had a good amount of live insects as well as our window sill. When calling the front desk to discuss, we were told "the pest control company recommended they spray pine sol around the air conditioners to keep the insects from coming into the room". That day, we left for the entire day so our room could be cleaned of bugs. When we arrived back later that evening, our room had not been cleaned. We still had the dirty sheets with smeared bugs on them, but the room smelled like pine sol, so something was sprayed in there. That evening there were even more insects in the room. Obviously, we couldn't sleep. When calling the front desk to ask about the housekeeping, we were told that they weren't sure why housekeeping didn't come because they had our room on the schedule. Additionally, there were no more clean linens to provide to us that night. So, we slept with just a sheet that as left over from the pull out sofa bed. That night, I wrote a review on social media regarding the bugs, posted a video of the insects in our room to warn guests checking in that they may want to seek alternative lodging. However, we attempted to get into another extended stay, but due to the summer months, there were no vacancies within a commutable distance to our clinic. Aubrie suggested coming to the front desk in the a.m. to notify staff when we would be out of our room, so housekeeping could do a deep clean and provide fresh sheets. That morning, we went to the front desk to notify them we were leaving for the day. I was told by the woman working at the front desk that there was no housekeeping for us that day, and we were only getting housekeeping every 5 days. I attempted to explain our situation when Sophia Valverde, the GM, verbally attacked me in the lobby in front of guests. This was 100% unprovoked - as I was just in mid conversation with the front desk attendant. Sophia asked when I was checking out. I explained to her, that I am not checking out, we are here for a long stay, but need the insects taken care of in our room. Sophia told me that she saw my post on social media about the insects and If I didn't like, it "There is the door - you can leave". She motioned to the doorway with both hands. She continued to yell, "If you are not happy here, then leave". I then said, "Wow, is that your solution to our problem" and she just shook her head yes. I began to tell her that I was told we would have housekeeping every other day, especially during the insect problem (attempted to show her the communication thread on the BONVOY app, and she said "I don't need to see that. We can only do your room once every 5 days". I asked her if this is how you treat a customer, especially a customer with brand loyalty (close to achieving Ambassador elite status) - again, she yelled "Just leave". At that point, I knew I was going to get no where with her, and honestly could NOT believe that she was the GM of the property! Thankfully, the BONVOY customer service agent assisted us with transferring to another property after contacting Sophia directly and being treated the same way as we had. Stays here for 2 nights and left feeling sick and dirty. The place is filthy and disgusting with the one of the worst odors I have ever smelled in my life embedded in all the furniture, rugs , even the bathroom. The dishes hadn't been washed well- still wet and sticky with mildew on them. The people who stayed there before must have really stunk up the place and the hotel was not able to remove that smell but it was even in the hallways and the carpets. Countertops were sticky, felt dirty, grimy and dusty everywhere. Stay away unless you want to get sick. Disappointed to see Marriott put their name in this establishment. I could have stayed at motel 6 and felt less filthy and dirty leaving. read more

I am a Bon Voy silver member. Was placed in wrong room then placed in correct room. The sleeper sofa is not a sleeper sofa. There is zero mattress and zero pillows bedding or whatsoever. Marriott does not even adhere to the ultimate reservation guarantee. Very disappointed figured people would stand by their own policies. If you want to sleep on plywood this is the place for you. The hotel is very clean one of the cleanest places I stayed and my job requires me to travel before and after audits I would rate this hotel at a 95 But what would make them fail is the attitudes of the 3-11 shift If you rent a room here you can't use your room key to enter the pool you have to ask the front desk (don't understand that and there's no other Marriott I'd like that) The general manager was there working that shift as well and she is as rude and nasty as they come She more worried about company coming over and using the pool instead of the men that's staying there bringing in prostitute in and out all times of the night making noise but when not going to got into that But the general manager stopped someone at the front desk being rude asking how many people in your room instead of pulling someone to the side quietly asked them she was embarrassing the guest As far as breakfast that was great The overall stay was a 3 because 3-11 shift makes guest very uncomfortable about staying at this hotel read more

Everything was absolutely wonderful about this hotel until it wasn't. When I checked in at around 3am after a long road trip I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep into the next day. I booked a suite with my fiancé and our son, the room was beautiful and cozy! We unpacked our things, got some food and put on a movie with plans to go swimming the next day.Have When I checked in i used MY I.D. and MY credit card!! There was no issue whatsoever the night staff were all super sweet and went above and beyond to mkake us feel like we were at home. I really felt like I could ask them for anything I needed and they were never bothered by it. I needed new sheets for the pull out, ketchup, tinfoil, you name it and they really did there best to get it. We ate our food and passed out, now this is where things turn aweful. At around 9:45 Am I was woken up by the phone (I had gotten maybe 4-5 hours of sleep) it was the front desk asking me if I was going to be ready for check out by 11! I have never had a hotel wake me up out of my sleep hours before check out just to ask if I was going to be leaving on time. I simply stated that I would like to extend our stay and book two more nights, there was a small pause and then I was told no rooms were available!! Yet the hotel was so empty I thought we were the only customers there, so I looked online and sure enough every kind of room was marked as available. So I called the front desk back and told them there must be a mistake because I could see that our room WAS available, I was then put on hold and the manager Sophia Valverde came onto the line and in a very rude manner told me I was on a "no stay list" now I may not work in hospitality but I know very well that if I was on a no stay list I would not have been able to book a room under MY NAME !! So I asked her why was I lied to and told no rooms were available instead of told that I was on the no stay list !? Too which she had no answer, she just simply stated that if I was not out of my room within the next 30 minutes the police would be called. So I called the police myself I had paid to be in that room until 11 AM so why would I be told that I had to leave within 30 minutes of waking up !? I was being told to leave about an hour earlier than checkout time and there was no way I was going to be able to pack all of my belongings, get my toddler dressed, let my dog out, get myself ready and nevermind taking a shower. When I asked why am I on the no stay list Sophia told me because "I am" I then explained to her that I had paid over $200 and only been here for about 6 to 7 hours total! Also it was in the middle of a snowstorm and we lived hours away but she did not care one bit. She was extremely rude hung up in my face and basically told us the same exact thing which is that we had 30 minutes to leave. I asked if I could speak to her manager and she said "no I am the manager" I know somebody must be above her though, and after about 3 phone calls back she finally agreed "OK when you are leaving the hotel I will give you their information". After I packed everything up got my toddler ready, let my dog out and loaded up the car in the snow I asked for the phone number I was promised so I could figure out what was going on, to which Sophia said I can google that information!!! Thank goodness for the police being there because they gave us until 11 since that was what we had paid for!! Due to exhaustion and a blizzard we decided it was not best to drive home and ended up going directly across the street to another hotel within the same plaza. I have never been treated so rudely and seen somebody with such little class and compassion. I called back later that day to ask some more questions and get information about what was going on. Every time she answered the phone and hung up on me several times!! I was smart enough to record our calls so I have a recording of her stating that she does not care that she is miss treating me or singling me and my family out for no good reason, she also stated that i was a lowlife and bad parent because I arrived so late at night!!! Not only am I a Hilton honors and Marriott member but I travel several times a year for work and have NEVER come across a more unpleasant person than her. I don't know what we did to deserve such terrible treatment but no human deserves to be treated with such disrespect. I really hope that she learns how to talk to pepole in the future because I will never stay at that hotel again. Every other worker there was pleasant and welcoming so I'm not sure why she holds the manager position but I surely hope that changes in the future. I will be emailing her company the videos of how she talks to customers as well as looking into if I am even on a no stay List. Beware of her I truly hope nobody else has to go through this experience with there family. read more

I'm writing this review not for myself but for another guest. This guest was at the front desk when we walked in tonight to check in. This guest was speaking with the General Manager. I did hear the whole conservation but it seemed that there was a problem with her credit card. It appeared to me that the guest was trying everything to get it straightened out. The general manager was treating the guest very disrespectful and was very rude to the guest. Eventually the guest stuck up for herself by saying loose the attitude and then the general manager rolled her eyes which then the guest asked to speak with some one else and the girl replied I'm the general manager. After my family and I checked in we went to the elevator to find the guest waiting for us. The guest wanted to personally apologize to us that she had got upset with the GM. I told the guest no need to apologize. If it was not so late I think I would of went some where else. The guests see the front desk girl in the beginning and at the end and you certainly don't want rude employees never mind that this is your General Manager.
