We had an event that was a birthday celebration, a celebration of a wonderful relationship with my significant other and a celebration of total remodeling of my condo. Kaitlin's company name, Easy Entertaining lived up to its name and then some! Kaitlin worked with us to arrange the event including the selection of food, the food preparation and the tables and chairs. She made the arrangements easy. Her director of services, Andre and another employee of the company, Latoya worked efficiently during setup, during the food preparation and setting up the buffet. Some of my family members are Vegan. Easy Entertaining even provided food for my Vegan family members. Andrea and Latoya were personable and very helpful in so many ways. Here are some words that come to mind when I think of the space: chic, vintage, intentional, beautiful, versatile and lovely. Amanda, the owner, was great from the start. Patient, kind and helpful. Her experience was evident throughout our entire planning process. She worked with us to up to the very end, easing our little anxieties and assisting us with whatever we needed. The staff at Queen Anne's was amazing! We were so pleased with the above and beyond service. A room flip was needed after the ceremony, for the reception. It was done in a timely, efficient fashion, and for that, we (and our guests), were so grateful. Food was exactly what we expected- and delicious. We opted for food stations, rather than a formal sit-down dinner. Appetizer platters, salad, sliders and pizza. Everything was fantastic. No complaints from us or our guests. We had a blast! I walked away totally impressed, and so did the event organizers who booked the Cranston Country Club again for September 2016. When I walked onto the grounds, the first thing I noticed was the gorgeous flowers and landscaping at the back of the main building overlooking the course. As our golfers came off the course, I asked them how they enjoyed the day and everyone said the golf experience and box lunch were both very good. Seriously, there was not one negative mentioned by a soul. As we prepared for our dinner, I interacted with half a dozen staff members (bartenders, servers, pro shop) and found them all to be professional and friendly. Our dinner was tremendous! We had a BBQ theme and our plates included half a chicken, a slab of 4 ribs, an ear of corn, and a baked potato with salad and rolls. And a slice of ice cream cake with sprinkles and chocolate sauce as a finale. People were flipping out at how good the food was. In conclusion, I was very impressed with what I saw during my first visit to the Cranston Country Club. See ya next year.

For those inclined (not I), beets are on menu. Decent salads. We see nice looking desserts go by but have never ordered any. Strawberry shortcake seems to be a favorite. The chicken parm is very good, although nothing beats home made. Steaks/chops here are also worth trying. Prime rib is to die for! Tender and know that rare means rare. Sometimes they are a little short staffed but such is the restaurant industry. While clean, the place could use a make-over. Kind of dark in there, too. Only had a disappointing meal here once (of all things corned beef & cabbage). Due to only one off overcooked to death meal, I said nothing and pretended I was not hungry. Wait staff here are efficient, kind and welcoming. Every day they offer specials, good variety. It is also one of only a few that offer rolls/butter before your meal.
