I would recommend getting there early as seating is first come first served except for donors who get the option to reserve a table. They allow coolers for drinks at the performances and also have treats, coffee and water for sale. Just about all the seats offer a nice view of the stage. The people there are friendly and helpful. If someone is performing there that you're interested in seeing, I wouldn't hesitate to go.

What a cool place to catch some live music! Such an intimate setting, comfortable seating, not a bad view in the place! Located in an old mill building, the stage set up and chairs is located on the third floor. There is an elevator to access for those who prefer to arrive to their seats unwinded. A quick check of your tickets and you're on your way! The venue is BYO food and drink, which honestly is such a cool concept given most venues are overcharging for these things left and right. They do have a small cafe with coffee, bottled sodas, and some treats for purchase if you come empty handed. They are also located next to a brewery where you can pick up some goodies as well. Parking is a breeze - free on street as well as an available lot behind the building. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and made the whole experience an enjoyable one overall. I cannot wait to come back!

MFR is not fancy and in fact a bit "rough around the edges" decor/interior wise but makes up for it…read moreby packing a serious punch when it comes to hogging out. It is an Irish-owned joint and features a pancake house-like vibe and bric-a-brac decorations that belong in an elementary school classroom such as paper/plastic wall hangings of Irish themes of gold pots, rainbows, and leprechauns, etc., as well as party streamers and the like. My One and I came here to eat and that was the focus as were quite hangry after a morning of flea-market shopping. Anyhoot, Moey got the Fish n' Chips and I got the Fried Seafood Pladder. Her dish was very generous with a big-ass piece of fish and lots of fries. My Pladder was a MONSTER and certainly not to be trifled with. Tons of everything and with fries AND rings. Deep fried to perfection. Everything was great! I was on Cloud 9 as I attempted to krush this whole Pladder. I am a real pig and do not play games when it comes to hogging out. I finished everything except for one scallop and four shrimp and some of the fries. This copious puppy was only 33 bucks which is an excellent deal. Our waitress was wicked nice too. In conclusion, we were tickled pink with our experience here. We had a whale of a time and the craic was great here! HOT TIP: We came here midafternoon and there was only one other couple pigging out here. Peak hours are wicked mental here (we were told) so best to come in the off hours to avoid a wicked mental atmosphere. PS: The photos here are rather deceiving as they do not convey the true scale of this wicked-mega Pladder. It was A LOT of food. I like that.

My wife and I went here over the weekend for here college reunion. The function space used to be…read morethe old Trio and for the amount of people (~100), it was cramped. Both rooms were difficult to navigate with everyone so close to one another and it was hard to walk past the bars because there were large waste bins on the ends and people would collect there to throw their bottles away. The event had a 4-hour open bar with only one bartender per bar. From what my wife and I could tell, the two bartenders were the only employees there. This proved to be a major problem because if the bartender needed something that wasn't stocked at their station or had to walk the space to clear tables, they would have to leave the bar completely unmanned. There were a lot of times that patrons would get behind the bar and take bottles from the shelves and when the bartenders came back, they'd pretty much shrug it off and continue to serve. One bar was for beer and wine, the other for cocktails. The cocktail line was always busy and the bartender couldn't keep up with demand, typically not remembering who had ordered first. From what I was told by other patrons, the drinks were quite weak. I stuck to hard cider and beer solely because the line was faster. But every time I wanted a Guinness, the bartender would leave the bar to go and get it from somewhere else. Luckily the event was only four hours long and my wife and I didn't stay through the whole thing. What's so concerning is that the management didn't think to staff properly and created a liability for themselves.

Jesse, Stephanie, and the staff are superb and are there to help you every step of the way in planning your event. We had a full service: appetizers, cheese and cracker table, Portuguese soup, family style salad, roast beef w/ mashed, stuffed scrod w/ rice, and cake & ice cream. All the food provided and cooked by All-star Chef Octavio Gomes was fantastic. I worked with Octavio for some time at the Venus de Milo so I know his work is nothing but the best! Hall is very spacious and we were able to bring in a good capacity of people even within the midst of COVID restrictions. The lights and decorations in the hall definitely set the tone of a nice ballroom wedding. All the staff was absolutely professional, friendly and helpful. No complaints and no regrets booking here. 5 STARS!
