    a band performing on stage

This place is great! Saw The Breakers there. Best Tom Petty tribute band out there by the way. Love the small intimate-ness of this place. One drawback is you can't dance at your seat. You have to go to the small area to the side of the stage. I get it, but it is a bummer. I think this place is for maybe the older crowd who likes to sit while they listen to music, but I just find that hard to do when the band is rocking, like The Breakers did that night. Huge bonus, it's BYOB! Love that option. It saves a ton of money, which makes it a good choice for a nice night out without breaking the bank.

Horrible customer service. They don't respond when an issue arises. They just ignore it and hope it goes away.

Perfect place to enjoy live music, I've been here several times, try to sit in the middle as there are seats with an obstructed view

I found the house warm, almost cozy with the velvet and dark colors. The house is in very good shape and it is clean. You get to see all the different rooms, living room, bed room, dining room etc. There is back staircase that the servants used. The other treasure about this museum is the gift shop. I found the gifts unique. Lot of special Christmas ornaments, but other gifts also. Outside the house the grounds are well kept and well designed. There is a fountain and the garden has a circular design to it. It is not substantial enough to travel from afar to visit, but if you are in Fall River, or near, definitely take the tour.

The house itself is gorgeous! I had no idea that there were so many artifacts from the Lizzie Borden trial housed here. We visited the Borden House later that day and as far as actual artifacts, this museum has them all, not the Borden House. If you are interested in the Lizzie Borden trial at all, come here! I also enjoyed the circular dining room and the clothing exhibit upstairs. I highly recommend this museum to anyone visiting the area. It is a treasure trove of information! Also worth noting is the museum gift shop. Fantastic selection of merch. Literally something for everyone. I loved how the gift shop extended upstairs and included items for the bath. My favorite find was the Lizzie Borden paperdolls, complete with the outfits worn at the trial! Solid 5 stars.

When we finally arrived, we found a small parking lot. We walked past the cafe and carousel building and made our way to the Battleship Cove gift shop to pay admission. From there, we got to check out two hangers, before we got up close and personal with two ships and a submarine. These are self-guided tours where you wander around and read about the things you see. There is only one direction for the sub as you make your way from one end to the other. But for the ships, there are more directions to choose from, and use-able bathrooms on the BB 59, as it hosts sleepovers in the form of Nautical Nights. We spent over 2 hours here, and would have happily checked out the submarine a second time, but they were about to close.

But after this winter, I wanted to get out and decided to check them out. First, as a side note, don't use 'Battleship Cove' as your GPS destination; otherwise, the GPS will tell you it's on the Braga Bridge/195. There was some overnight scout pack or something when I went, as a bunch of people/kids were getting out when I got there. There was nobody to show my pre-paid ticket to, so I just went in; it was just chaos. As far as the attraction goes, it's amazing how big and how small it is at the same time. Small in the sense that I clocked my head a couple times, and to contort a little bit to get through doorways and hallways a few times, and I'm only 5'6. I can only imagine how enlisted people did it. Big in the sense that you don't realize how far down it goes and how much they cram into what is a relatively small vessel. It's a lot of interesting information and a fun time exploring the ships. And its relatively cheap too. In the summer, I can imagine it getting really hot in the vessel so I would say that Spring or Fall is probably the best option.
