We stayed 4 nights recently with our dog and could not have been much happier. The room was up-to-date and clean with all the amenities we expected. I asked for the room to be cleaned early each day and they accommodated my request. There is a relatively large area in the back where I was able to walk our dog each morning and evening. The $15 daily meal allowance was used twice at the Helmway for breakfast that turned out to be quite good. We will be back.

The Pell was great! It's away from the "main drag", which offers a little more quiet. However, we were able to be in the heart of Newport with a quick Uber. The hotel room was spacious and clean. There was a bar/restaurant that was perfect for happy hour and brunch. The staff was polite and helpful. Convenient check-in/out. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

We reached out to their corporate, they have no authority over individual hotels. Totally got screwed on this stay. - The image shows a screenshot of an email from James Evans, Manager of Elevated Care at Hyatt Hotels. The email addresses a guest named Mr. Burns, discussing contact issues with hotel management and explaining the process for escalation and support. It includes contact information, support hours, and well wishes for the weekend. The email is written in a professional tone, with the sender's name and title at the bottom.

My wife and her sister had a nice stay at this hotel, however the general manager Erik Berlied is simply awful to work with. My and her sister don't smoke. The morning of their departure they went and ate breakfast, proceeded to check out. For whatever reason they checked out at 9:07, we're not handed a receipt from their stay. Erik emailed this bill later on in the day where they received a $500 charge. Added to the bill. As she reviewed the bill she had immediately called the hotel, spoke with Erik, where he essentially threatened her saying"it wouldn't be good for her if she came back to the Pell." Erik, explained he can't trust people's credibility due to people lying to him in the past. Throughout about 15 calls elevating this case to the Hyatt corporate offices. We were not able to receive the money Erik stole from us. Erik had told me that he spoke with the housekeeping, they told him there was no additional cleaning required in the room after my wife's stay. I had spoke with him, and had explained the sensors he has in the room should be checked and maintained regularly. In the industry I work we have quarterly checks for equipment. He stated to me he has no knowledge of the system needing such checks. As I have stated above my wife and her sister don't smoke, don't vape. This charge was a fraudulent and really a dis-service, the hotel refuses to right the wrong of. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay at this hotel. The amount of dishonesty is amazing. That's the worst trip of their life's. Stay a way.

The bathroom contains a walk-in shower with white subway tiles and a glass door, a white toilet, and a vanity with a white countertop, a black faucet, and a large mirror. There are wall-mounted light fixtures next to the mirror, a framed picture on the wall, and a towel hanging on a black towel bar. The flooring is light-colored wood or wood-look tiles.

I had a great 2 night stay at the end of June 2023. They're still finishing up the remodel around the hotel, including the restaurant and pool. While there were a couple minor inconveniences, it was still a great stay and this place has a ton of potential. I should also mention there is NOT an elevator, so if that's needed be sure to call and request a first floor room; there's only two floors I believe. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything is brand new and clean in the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet; I never heard neighbors, slamming doors, etc. Also, the location itself is quiet. You're just 2 miles from the hustle and bustle of Newport but it's a calm area surrounding the hotel. At checkout they inquired about the stay and asked for feedback as they're still trying to workout the kinks of opening. I will definitely stay here again.

Room service is punctual. Rooms are cozy, but the walls are thin. You can hear people moving around throughout the day.

Queen Anne's was exactly that for us. We had about 75 guests, and were comfortable, but cozy. Here are some words that come to mind when I think of the space: chic, vintage, intentional, beautiful, versatile and lovely. Amanda, the owner, was great from the start. Patient, kind and helpful. Her experience was evident throughout our entire planning process. She worked with us to up to the very end, easing our little anxieties and assisting us with whatever we needed. The staff at Queen Anne's was amazing! We were so pleased with the above and beyond service. A room flip was needed after the ceremony, for the reception. It was done in a timely, efficient fashion, and for that, we (and our guests), were so grateful. Food was exactly what we expected- and delicious. We opted for food stations, rather than a formal sit-down dinner. Appetizer platters, salad, sliders and pizza. Everything was fantastic. No complaints from us or our guests. We had a blast! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more. Queen Anne's and Amanda have so much to do with our unforgettable experience! 15/10 recommend. P.S. Photos by Mat & Ash Photography (the best)

The cocktail hour then opened up and was just as delicious and beautiful. The bride and groom both had specialty drinks. The hor'dourves were delicious, and the view spectacular! Dinner was just as wonderful, although my filet mignon was a bit overcooked to my liking. However, it was very good and cut like butter. There were quite a few people at this wedding, but the dance floor was giant and nobody was dancing on top of each other! The DJ was awesome (wish I got his name), and kept the dance floor busy all night. There were plenty of servers, everyone was friendly and helpful. We were right in the neighborhood & hungry when a bell went off in my head - "Let's finally try The Reef". Upon approaching, the first thing I noticed was parking. Such a rarity in this neighborhood to find free parking! We made a mental note to remember this. It was a bit early for the tourist season & for dinner time, so we were seated quickly. The dining room continued to fill & liven up during our visit. A private party filled the bar area as well. What a gorgeous spot on the water! I imagine the sunset views from here are fabulous and the tent and patios on the dock must be wonderful on a nice, summer day. Our waiter ( Vincent maybe? ), promptly welcomed us & remained attentive & helpful through our visit. When asked for a recommendation, he immediately went into a thorough description of the items & helped our decision. The first thing that I noticed was that the prices on the menu were, in many cases, much different than what was shown on the website. I always peruse online menus before hand and I quickly noticed that the entrée I had been considering, the Black Cod, was a full $10 more than what showed online. It is inexcusable for a large restaurant company like Hertiage to have incorrect or outdated menu information on their property websites. We ordered that Black Cod & the Short Rib ( which is now served with mashed potato - not polenta as shown on the website ). The first thing I noticed when it quickly arrived was the portion size. A small piece of fish, maybe four or five ounces, sat atop a cup of rice and a few thin asparagus spears. It almost appeared to be an appetizer, not a main dish. The short rib was a heartier portion & certainly more fulfilling. My partner was happy with the beef, although the sauce was oddly VERY smoky, almost tasting like too much smoke flavoring had been added. If there was a deep, beefy flavor typical or a demi, it was completely overwhelmed by the smokiness. The flavor of the fish was even more disappointing. While it certanly didn't taste spoiled, it had very little flavor from the glaze & a strong fishy-ness. When I discoved that the bottom of the filet still had a silver skin layer, I removed it and the fish flavor improved but the dish remained very bland. I ate it but found it just "meh" & left still hungry, despite not having a huge appetite arriving. I think we will try it again. Perhaps for a brunch on the patio on a nice summer day. The pasta dishes I saw going by looked better and, you certainly can't beat the location.

A welcome reprise from those businesses who can't seem to ramp staff back up. Even more impressive, their staff are trained very well. Women first, serve from left, remove from Right etc... I was thoroughly impressed that during COVID, and the night before a major hurricane, the NYYC was able to host the dinner for the StFYC and do so at such a best-of-class level.
