I traveled a distance to this company because their price was the best for the older Pilot I knew I…read morewanted. They fixed a bad axle within the first month when I let them know about it. However, I specifically asked about the timing belt, knowing that it should be done at about 100,000 miles. Steve told me it had been done. I was relieved. Well, 7 months later, without many additional miles on the car, the timing belt went, and the car has an "interference" engine, meaning I need a new engine to the tune of $5000+. I contacted them directly several times because they encourage that on the website, but have received no response. It's just my loss - pay the money or be without the vehicle.

Mind you i got the car in September and one thing after another the car was falling apart and I'm assuming maybe it's me and i just can't drive or wear and tear. So recently i gotten a flat and the roads in Massachusetts are crazy so I'm thinking wear and tear... absolutely not. I take my car to go get tires and they lift my car up to inspect and I get informed that they can't change my tire and that i can't drive my car anymore because my whole under my car is rusted which explains why things kept going on my car. Save yourself the hassle because now it's my loss and a setback. If you do go and don't have many options just be sure to get the car inspected right after regardless of what they tell you and say is clear. I had a tire light on my car that was somehow wiped but came back a week later after i drove my car home and it wasn't because my tires didn't have air it's because all of my car was rusted under and the frame was pushing part of something (i'm not a mechanic) into my tires which made them go flat and bust. The mechanic said it was a safety hazard and I'm lucky to be alive cause all it would've taken is on bad ride on the highway to have ended my life.

After ignoring warnings from friend's and family, I decided to buy a car from this dealership only…read moreto have it NOT pass inspection and fall apart in the middle of a busy intersection. $300 later in towing expenses, I went back to Clouatre Motors and asked for my money back they refused to refund any of my money or fix the car for a reasonable price saying it was a "used car and it had no guarantees". Lesson Learned- NEVER buying anything from that place again.

My girlfriend was in need for a new car, so we decided to check this place out. Out front there was…read moreone for sale, marked at a decent price. We figured, why not give it a look? After talking to the guy inside, who told us it was a good solid car, we took it out for a test drive. It ran fine, and sounded alright. All it needed was a replacement windshield washer jet on the left side. So we brought it back and purchased it, just as long as they replaced the missing windshield washer jet. For some reason, when we offered to buy it, he asked for a few hundred dollars more than what it was marked as... weird... The next day, we picked it up. We noticed the windshield washer jet was fixed, so we took it home. I guess we should have checked it out first... They replaced the jet, but never installed it correctly, so it didn't work. But that's not all... Upon further investigation of the car, we noticed that most of the electrical work had been redone under the dash previously. Instead of looking like it was done professionally, the wiring looked like it had been slapped together by a 14 year old, using wire bought from Walmart. It was also covered with medical tape... The ventilation controls started acting strangely after the first few days, and the AC stopped working. Just recently, (only 4 months later) the car broke down on the highway. Allegedly the timing belt went, which led to even more damage with the engine. Bringing it to a mechanic, we were told it would cost well over $1,500 in repairs. Bottom line, just don't buy a car from here... I have heard nothing but horror stories from this place, and unfortunately we ignored the warnings as well. The guy is as crooked as a politician, and the atmosphere is as friendly as I'd assume the county clink's to be. How this dealership has been in business for this long, may be nothing short of a miracle...
