Reservations do not matter. Called a week in advance, made a reservation and arrived on time to be told it's a 2.5 hour wait. Effectively, there is NO point in making a reservation. Front desk, "the reservation is to guarantee a two-hour window". This would have been good to know when making the reservation. They messed up my car and wouldn't even hear out my issue when I can back an hour later . Do not come here. Get alignments done else where. Little guy with the beard was more interested in arguing with me than seeing if the car was fixed properly. Told me he had done this for 20 years, as if mistakes weren't possible. I was given a 3pm appointment. I sat and waited 1 hour for them to take my car. I finally went to the service desk and got a refund. I will be going elsewhere. Here's the problem: When you offer appointments, it's very simple, you honor that appt. People expect to have their vehicles worked on within a reasonable amount of time if they have an appointment. If you can not honor an appointment, then don't make them. I lost 3 hours from work, not to mention other responsibilities that I have.....along with every other customer that goes here. I have been a loyal customer at the Warwick location for over 20 years. That stopped this week. They mounted the wrong tire (which had been ordered 2 days before), had to bring it back to have it switched and then back again 2 days later as it was not holding air (valve stem not properly installed). All this made worse as my wife noticed in the waiting room TV monitor that the tech was removing the wrong tire to repair the valve stem, had to tell the person at the desk to correct the mistake. Went here to have a tire mounted to a wheel I bought. Spare tire for my Jeep Wrangler. I was informed that they do not mount tires on wheels that weren't purchased from them. I had bought the tire online to match the tires that were already on my jeep. I asked how much the tire would've cost if I bought it through them and of course it was much more than I paid for the tire. They are just trying to make money off people and are not helpful. Avoid them. Go anywhere else like Pep Boys or tire pros. read more

Town fair tower is so miss leading. They say they fix tire leaks for free but when you get there they throw in a bunch of other fees. I would not recommend this store to anyone however they still fixed two tires cheaper than I could have. The staff was rude and passive aggressive about a lot of things. The job took 3 hours even though I made an appointment. That is extremely excessive for fixing 2 leaky tires. Next time I'll spend more money and fix it myself to save time. read more

Had 4 new tires put on. One of my original tires was a brand new spare tire that We just put on do to a flat. I asked the salesman to please put that tire back on the spare rim and remove the flat tire that was in the trunk. When we picked up the car, my husband checked the spare in the trunk and it was still the flat one! They threw away the new one that we just put on. After they fixed that issue, we came home. Thinking we had our original new spare tire in the trunk. Well my husband checked and it is someone else's used tire! Never again!! read more

Ordered common brand/size of tires (4) on Monday for agreed upon installation on Friday.... show up on Friday and ... well - "we don't have the tires as ordered, we can have them here Monday - but we can show you something else". They fixed my flat but returned the tire OVERinflated by 4 lbs and did not check the pressure in the other tires, all of which were UNDERinflated by 3 to 4 lbs. Simple thing to do. The guys working there were very rude. To get my attention, one guy shouted "Hey, Jetta!", even though he had my name on the paper in his hands. I overheard people complaining that they'd been there three hours. It took an hour and a half for them to change four tires, and I had an appointment! They complained to me that I didn't leave them the tire key... but I had left it right where they asked me to leave it, on the driver's seat! They probably sat on it while driving my car into the garage. They threw all the stuff in the passenger's seat on the floor while looking for my tire key and didn't put my stuff back on the seat. I came here the other day because a tire on my car had a slow leak. They were busy but were able to check out the problem. Initially, the first guy came out to look at it and said I probably needed a new tire. For $5.-, another employee examined the tire and discovered that it had been punctured by a screw. I was greeted with a smile and without a wait - that was really wonderful! The volume of business that this place gets is pretty impressive. Recently purchased four new tires for the vehicle. The five or six guys working the place have an interesting approach to customer service. There is really no method to the madness. You wait until someone is free...no matter how long that may be, then they do their sales pitch with you and look at your vehicle with you and then discuss all of the features that a responsible driver should have within their tires. I must say, they do have a wide array of knowledge on the structure of each tire. I think I heard about six descriptions of the various tread, ice deflection, traction and some other stuff that I cant remember. I was also impressed by the fact that for the most part, they could quote recent consumer report ratings on specific tires and highlight specific safety features cited at specific percentiles. It was a long experience and in the end, I drove home with some new tires that i feel good about. Even if I didnt, I have a lifetime replacement guarantee that just cost me 11.95 per tire...yes I am that sucker. Okay Town Fair, you got me! read more

This was one of the WORST car experiences I've ever had. I ordered my tire two Fridays ago and made an appointment for that coming Monday. When I went in for my appointment, I found out some fool had ordered the wrong tire even though I read off the exact measurements on the phone. So I had to take off more work and schedule for Tuesday - fine. I come in Tuesday and ask to keep my spare when all the work is done. When I pick up my car, I noticed that not only did they steal from me the tire I asked to keep, but they charged me a removal fee! THEN I noticed that the incompetent workers of TFT had not even taken off my spare!!! They left the crappy tire on I had paid to replaced and put one of my new ones on the spare rack; there were clear descriptions on my invoice stating which tire needed replacing. So I had to come back today for the THIRD time to get a job done that should have taken one hour total. I am absolutely APPALLED with the services I received here. I don't know if they hire people who cannot read directions or know nothing about cars, but there is definitely a disconnect. I spent good money to have my car taken care of, and instead I felt taken advantage of as well as put in dangers way not having proper service done. I will never be coming back here again, and I would encourage everyone else to seek service elsewhere, you will only be paying for a headache. read more

Do not waste your time coming here. I explained I needed trailer tires and the boat as on the trailer. They told me no problem. I get to the store and they can't lift it. I was clear about the boat, the trailer, the weight. If they don't know what they have for equipment at the shop or if they can do it I'd think twice about having them do any work on your vehicle read more

If I could go lower than one star I would. After waiting 2 hours to get a tire changeover and wheel balancing, they had done the job incorrectly and gave me a dangerous car to be driving - they clearly don't check over their work, nor do they perform test drives. It appeared that they only had one weight to use in balancing, so they had to stack multiple weights on top of one another. This is an incorrect practice. Different density weights are used where you need to retain the volume and increase the mass. You don't stack them. In stacking these weights, every time the wheel rotated, the wheels would slam into my brake caliper. If I had left the shop, I could have severely damaged my caliper, rotor, who knows what. In addressing the service manager about the issue of me driving off in an unsafe car, I was told to stop "giving hypothetical scenarios" and to "stop making it such a big deal." Unacceptable. After asking the service manager to speak to the store manager, he provided me a full refund, and apologized for the tech's actions. They let me drive off with a dangerous car. That's a problem. I will never go there again. Don't waste your money at this place - 0 attention to detail, no trust. read more

I've been to several town fair tire stores since they installed my brand new tires. (7 times to be exact) My sensor lights keep coming on. The tires keep leaking. As it turns out they did not seal them properly when they were installed. So, I fixed it for good today by visiting my mechanic. I will never go to town fair tire again. read more

If I could leave them zero stars, I would. My first encounter with town fair was less than enjoyable. I was there, not joking, for 5 hours for a blown out tire. Well, they were closing but still working on my car. They told me I had to wait outside while they finished...in a thunderstorm!! An hour or so later I got my car back. Now, 3 years later I find myself here at town fair, wondering why in the world I came back. I got a screw in my tire, no big deal...just needs a plug. They tell me to leave the tire and check back...in 3 hours! When I finally come back, the guy rolls the tire towards me and says "you're all set." It is a huge tire, for a jeep! Then he looks at me and says "Oh, did you think we were going to put it on too??? That's going to take 45 minutes at least" Needless to say, I will never give them my business again. read more

They were very busy with a 2 hour wait but the gentleman advised me the best time to come is right when they open at 8am and they will be able to get me right in. I had a slow leak in one of my tires so I came here because I had a warranty. The man who served me was rude and annoyed with me becuase I don't know a lot about cars. After I had checked in and filled out all the paperwork I had to wait 2 hours for them to even get my car in the garage, even when there were spaces in the garage. After that, I had to wait another hour just for them to put a patch on the leak. I hope I never have to go here again. read more

Unfortunately I couldn't rate this place a zero. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Went there yesterday to have a flat tire repaired. The cashier told me it was a two hour wait to get it fixed and mounted. He said come back in two hours if you don't want to wait, which is what I did. When I returned two hours later, another guy said it's ready but you'll need to wait Two or three hours before we can mount it because all the bays are full. It would have been nice if someone told me that when I dropped it off. I thought the whole point of them telling me to come back in to hours was to AVOID the wait. I couldn't wait because I had an appointment in another city. I went back today and figured I would just wait my turn. First question the guy asks is "do you have an appointment?" I said no, nobody ever told me I should make an appointment. He said oh that's too bad, if you had an appointment, we could mount it right now. Since you didn't, there are 15 cars ahead of you and it's"going to be a long time." I told him he should probably tell people that up front (no common sense). A while ago I had a slow leaking tire that needed to be replaced. So I went to town fair tire on bald hill road in warwick. No problems. Fast forward to this Tuesday. I got an unexplained flat. Same tire. Ok, things happen. I'm not mad, yet. AAA comes out to change the tire. He gets to one of the lug nuts and can't get it off. Another truck comes and they get it off. Apparently whoever put the tire on last (town fair tire) stripped the bolt that the lug nut goes onto, by over torquing the lug nut. I was shocked. I had a friend who TEACHES automotive repair look at it and he agreed it was over torqued. Well the manager just called me, and even though I didn't have my tires rotated when I was supposed to, they are still going to take care of the problem for me. They are sending me to their mechanic.
