I'm still relatively new to the area, and very new to having a pool. I have had the worst luck…read morefinding a company to open & close my pool, to the point that I thought opening the pool just meant taking off the cover and putting the ladder back in, etc... leaving the cleaning to me. I could write a novel about how HORRIBLE my experiences were. I don't know why I didn't call Ralph's company first. They are opening my pool now, and even though it's not done, it's totally clear, looks great. They answer their phone, return their calls, show up for their appointments, and they do a GREAT job. If you have a pool, USE THESE GUYS!

Absolutely horrible company. Paid for a new liner that was not installed correctly, lots of divots…read moreand dents as well as a couple wrinkles. The divots and dents could not be noticed until first time in pool and and that point it's too late and it can't be fixed. Also when the skimmer was reattached it dripped and I paid to have them replace it and it still leaks. Then on top of that the beginning of the next season the liner unattached in an area. I called thinking it would be covered by warranty, but I was charged and paid the bill. The very same thing happened again this year so I called and told them this needs to be covered under warranty. The girl I talked to agreed as long as it was not my pool causing the issue. They came out to fix issue, it was nothing to do with my pool, and he was done in less than 15 minutes. I thought that was the end of it but I got a bill for in the mail for $275, so I called and explained that I should not be charged for this. They decided to take $100 off of bill but that's still $175 they want to collect for something that should have been covered as a warranty as agreed and was here less than 15 minutes. What a racket!!! I would never do business with this company again and I'd advise anyone thinking about using them to steer clear.

I tried to call him several times to question when they would come and finish the job and waa ghosted. He overcharged, left a mess of a situation, and disappeared. Now I'm out all that money and still don't have a usable pool.

Don't use these people for anything!! We called them back…read morein April and were told that they could have it done in 2-3 weeks. We have a text message that promises us that the job would be complete before my girlfriends surgery in June. They set up a date to come to the house and ended up showing up a few days early. They claimed it was because they had messed up the dates and names. Luckily someone was home when they showed up. They set up a date to come to the house and we paid half the invoice. They never showed. Then they set up another date and didn't show. We were then told that they they have the liner and can do it another date. We had someone stay with us because we both work so there would be someone here. They showed up, were here for about 30 minutes or so and left without talking to anyone. Then we get a text saying that when they were cutting out the liner that it broke apart so they were just going to leave the water there and let it drain into the ground. When they came back they took the liner and the skimmer out and again just left without saying anything. We get a text saying that they found some rust behind the skimmer and it was going to be an additional $400 to put in some sheet metal around it. Mind you the skimmer is part of the contract and we're not sure why they didn't take at least that out when they were here the first time. We get an invoice for $800. When we called them they tried to tell is that it was the $400 for the labor and sheet metal and part of the second half of the invoice, even though the other half of the invoice wasn't due until the liner was in. So we paid it anyways. They were supposed to come another day and didn't show. When we texted them were told they had to bring their trucks to the DMV and they didn't realize it was going to be so long. So now it's 2 weeks into June......when we were told it'd be 2-3 weeks back on April. My girlfriend called them and was trying to talk to them about it. She was understandably upset. The man on the phone told her that he has been having problems. He then said "We'll be there tomorrow" and hung up on her. They came and put the liner in the next day. They then informed me that they had scheduled the water to be here the next day. I told them no one was going to be here because my girlfriend was going in for major surgery.....which we had told them previously. They told me that one of them could be here to help us with that. Again........they didn't show up when the water came. I got home from the hospital after her surgery later that night and looked in the pool. There are folds and creases all along the bottom. Then I noticed that the skimmer was not there and they had installed the liner and water which I had to pay $800 for without the skimmer. I texted them about that and they said they thought they had communication to us that the skimmer was back ordered and they didn't have it yet. They had not. I asked them about some of the water leaking out that I had paid for and why there was creases all over the bottom. I never heard anything back. Then we get an invoice for the last half because according to them it's due when the liner is dropped. She asked them about the folds and creases all along the bottom and she was told that because we were rushing them to get it done and complaining about water pressure. We have well and when the guys were here they told me to let the water run until 7 pm( it was 6pm when he told me this). The only thing I asked him about was if it would be ok to run the water that long with the well. Then on the Sunday after they put in the liner and water they text us that we still owe them money. My girlfriend explained to them that the job is not done and we have a pool with water and no skimmer. We were told that the water won't get that bad by the time they get here and that there is a penalty of $125 a day for not paying them the other half. Then...after texting us first on a Sunday tell us that their office hours are Mon-Fri and that they would appreciate us not communicating on the weekends. So now it's June......we still don't have a usable pool and their trying to strong arm us into paying them. My next call is going to be to the Better Business Bureau .These people are shady. I wouldn't trust them to put a plastic kids pool in my backyard without it taking a month and then screwing it up.

This is my first pool, so I've been leaning as I go, and I had to trust what I was being told originally. I felt like I spent a lot of money and wasted a lot of time for very little, and their lack of communication was dangerous. I bought a new pool cover from them, which I knew I needed. They installed it, but didn't bother to tell me that they hadn't finished anchoring it because they needed to install some new anchors. I let my dogs out thinking it was secure since they had left without communicating otherwise. My foster puppy ran right across the area that wasn't anchored and easily could have fallen in, gotten trapped, and drown. Thankfully, she jumped off of it right as that anchored corner gave I also had them install a new filter, and they failed to tell me that they hadn't reconnected a pipe after installing it. This resulted in water spraying everywhere in my garage after turning my filter on the first time. Generally speaking when I contacted Matt, he was responsive, but his team repeatedly failed to communicate important information.

The agreement was signed on the 2nd of March 2026. I wish that I could post photos here, but In the interest of complete transparency, I invite anyone interested to inspect the work at 354 W Christine Road, Nottingham; PA . According to Clarks, this is the highstandard of work that they deliver. 1. The area around the pool is "machine graded" as per the contract. My understanding at least from the initial verbal assurances was that this would end as a 1 by 3 slope. There is leftover stone and debris which Clarke claims they are not responsible for 2. The sides of the pool are warped. Clarkes assures us that this will be fixed when the pool cover is installed but they cannot provide a specific date. 3. Piles of excavated material is left over, even though the contract specifies that excavated material should be removed. 4. The outside grill for the Heat Pump unit that Clarks installed is damaged. This might indicate that the unit was dropped or bumped during the installation. 5. Clarkes insists that all approvals regarding permits are my responsibility. I can't even get a complete list of inspections that were done or completed, just an assurance that everything was done. So after spending 120 K, I do have a plastic tub in the backyard. Not quite what I expected. The good part is the the folks were really quite pleasant up until the contract was signed.
