Two stars are for the techs performing my MRIs, they were very friendly and did a great job. My issue is with Tower itself. First, Tower would not schedule both of my MRIs together. In the past at a larger radiology place in Waldorf, I've been able to schedule two exams for one visit. However I was told this was not an option so I scheduled the one I thought was the most urgent first. Tech could not start the IV after a few tries which was fine. However when I returned for the next MRI a few days later I was told the exam was marked as incomplete Siri the fact the last tech could not get the IV in for the dye. The tech performing the next MRI was able to get the IV and finish the first MRI and second. Days later and I still have no report from either exam. I have no problem with the techs performing the MRIs, they seemed to do the best they could with what appeared to be limited help. However, Tower seems to have no sense of urgency. I went with Tower because they could get me in sooner. However this has not made a difference and at this point I should have just went with another imaging spot. The patient portal is also bootleg. I will absolutely never go here again. I will stick with another bigger name radiology company that has moved into a brand new building. This place may be good for routine imaging, this maybe's good spot but I absolutely would not recommend for an urgent concern. read more

The stars I'm giving are solely for the amazing technician who did my CT scan. If you can get past the extreme rudeness and unprofessional front desk staff then all is well. I don't think I would want to deal with how unprofessional this whole process was anymore so I plan on finding a professional radiology location in all aspects in the future. I would drive 3 hours to a new location before coming back here. The icing on the cake was hearing the front desk complain about being at work and wanting to go home, along with the trash music playing in the waiting area. Just unbelievable. Some customers are coming here for scans and checks for possible cancer and this is who we're working with? Here are more details. My lab orders were faxed TWICE and they did not receive them. Fix your fax machine! Secondly, I called the day before to make sure my appointment was set and to ask how to prepare for it. She was so short with me on the phone, and said instructions were emailed to me. NO they were NOT! She sent the email to me "again" and that was the first email I received. I asked how much water I needed to drink and she said in a short tone "just make sure you're hydrated". Also, patients shouldn't have to greet YOU when they come into the office. You're the front office staff and need to speak up and greet the patients! Avoid this location unless you want an awful experience! I'm not sure who manages this location but your front office staff needs more training! read more

Awesome mammographer. Terrible front desk staff. I have been coming here for over 7 years & I have never experienced not being acknowledged at check in... until today. While two ladies were "present" when I signed in; one fumbling with the phone... not actively talking and the other appeared to be attempting to type, but not really, both made eye contact; however, neither uttered a word. Not, "I'll be right with you" Do you have an appt?" "Have a seat" NOTHING. After 3 mins of standing at the counter directly in front of them and no one saying a word; I asked, "Is this the correct place to check in?" Only after that did someone finally speak and asked me if I had an appt. , then gave me the necessary paperwork to check in. Unbelievable! ZERO customer service. Total lack of professionalism. I previously recommended everyone that I knew to Tower Radiology; I don't think I'll be doing that anymore. I would hate to recommend someone to this business and they receive the treatment that I did. Good customer service is vital in sustaining any business and the people at the front desk are a direct representation of the establishment. Not good. American Radiology is a better option. American Radiology has a very nice patient portal for information and feedback from the Imaging that you completed Tower Radiology can not complete the reports of MRIs in a timely fashion. Do better Tower Radiology and allow patients access to past imaging by completing the reports in a timely fashion. read more

I had an MRI done in January. They made me pay a substantial deposit up front. My insurance company reduced they amount I owed. I have called numerous times trying to get a refund for 174.00. This is bad business. I wonder how many people don't pay attention to what the insurance company allows versus what they paiy out of pocket. I hope I don't have to take them to court. If I could give this office a zero, I would. I had an ultrasound done with them to see my baby. Minding I'm 32 weeks pregnant. First of all, they don't even greet you and it takes less than 10 minutes to do ultrasounds. The tech that did the ultrasound on me put in my record that My baby's amniotic fluid was at 2.9% which is low and your baby can't stay inside for long. She told me I will send the results to your doctor in two days. If the fluid was low she had to tell me so I could go to the emergency room. She did the ultrasound on Friday and I had my check up appointment until Thursday I had my appointment with my doctor, which my doctor told me about the liquid 6 days after that happened. I immediately went to the emergency room at the hospital, they told me that my baby's fluid was fine at 20%, that mistake of theirs caused me stress, problems in my work, and financially I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't walk away from this place, RUN. A specific employee was not only extremely rude but blow my mind offensive. Fellow employees didn't say a word regarding her behavior and appeared to me to distance themselves from her attitude. And not a supervisor at the facility to talk to. My Surgeon's office told me they have been "victim" to this specific employee's unprofessional extremely rude attitude as well. Go to Walmart to get an X-ray. You will be treated better and Walmart doesn't do X-rays. read more

Fairly quick to get you in but takes forever to get written results back. Used this location by reference of our dr who assured us they'd give us immediate written report. I've had numerous mri's and never has it taken longer then 10-12 hours for me to get results. Since results were not made avaliable quick now the referring Dr needs to reschule us, again, to next week because of his office scheduling. It will be roughly 9 days before we get answers. If my son needs surgery like they said possible 9 days is a long time to wait. Obviously neither the ortho office or radiology office are in any sort of rush to help get him healed. read more

My wife was referred for ultrasound at 8 months. The doctor told us we will be able to get our ultrasound images afterwards. However, when we completed the appointment they didn't give us the images and they told us to pick them in the next week. When we came to pick them up, they only gave us a CD and told us they don't print images of ultrasound. They told us to go and print them from the CD. When we went to CVS and Walgreens to print, they told us the CD was "View Only". We called them and then they did confirm that the CD was "View Only" and they can't print them for us. Its weird that they advertise ultrasound service and yet they have outdated services and still use CDs which are outdated. We were frustrated by their service and they promised to get back to us but they didn't read more

Another gem which has only been around for three years......You can tell a female is the owner of this facility.....yes, its a "radiology" place....however, you can immediately sense the warm colors, rugs in some of the exam rooms, comfy chairs which reminds you are in more of a spa like setting.....than a place where you get a sonogram, MRI etc.......If I'm lyn' I'm dyn'..... The staff was friendly no issues there...... Another plus, for the sonogram rooms, there are wide screen tv's *more than one* at your eye level so you can see whats happening....no need to crick your neck to the side to take a peek at something you would otherwise have no idea what you are looking at.. They also have 4D baby sonogram services too! And lastly....when you depart....there is a bin with chocolate chip cookies waiting for you! Unfortunately, I'm on a diet... didn't divulge...but next time I surely will!!! I don't know of any Radiology facility who offers such lovely touches...if so ..let me know! A n T read more

Usually I am very understanding with new trainees doing a job, but unfortunately today was not a good day for her. I had a growth scan today for the last trimester of my baby and the trainee had no clue how to properly conduct the ultrasound and the trainer wasn't a very good teacher. My last chance to see my baby in the wound was ruined by this unprofessional experience. I had a silent experience where they didn't explain anything, and They did not print any pictures out for me to take home even if my baby was "stubborn." I wouldn't recommend this location especially if they don't have proper trainers for important moments such as these or people to ensure the experience is a positive one. read more

So grateful to Tower radiology for being kind enough to work me into their schedule. My dumba$$ went to the wrong location the day of my appointment. They could have easily just told me to come back another day, but they went out of their way to squeeze me in since I was already there. I've never had an MRI before so I was a little nervous, but Stephanie was so kind and talked me through the whole process. The facility is clean and decorated nicely. I have the worse experience today at Tower radiology in Odessa, I when for a Thyroid Ultrasound, they got my info at the front desk and later they took me to do the test, I lay down in the bed and the lady started the test, didn't past 3 minutes and the front desk call her on the phone said that my insurance didn't go through, the lady stop the test immediately and I when to the front desk to solve the problem, I decide to pay cash and do the test because its very important for me. After I paid in cash I was thinking they are going to take me back and continuing with the test, but instead, they said we are done. I excalim what ?? she didnt finished, the lady spend lest that 5 minutes doing my test, short words, they don't want to do anything else, I spoke to the supervisor and was the same shit. Now I'm super worried because I dont feel safe witht his people what if I still have Cancer? How do I know if the test was correct? they have a VERY BAD, BAD SERVICE. This facility does not deserve any stars!! What a horrible experience. My 78 year old mother (a cancer survivor) and my 83 year old father were treated very unprofessionally and with no compassion whatsoever. There isn't enough room to write all of the problems they encountered. I will shorten the description of the nightmare to state that the staff is totally rude and incompetent and lacking compassion. I would like to ask them one question - suppose these were your parents? Would you want someone to go the extra mile to help them? After being contacted by Tower Radiology to confirm her appointment the night before, she was told to drink the contrast for her study. They stated they had pre-authorization. My mother herself had pre-authorization in hand. After drinking the contrast and showing up for her appointment early, they were told that they couldn't get authorization and sent them away with the study not performed????? Seems this would be done PRIOR to giving a patient contrast to drink. We will be contacting my mother's referring oncologist to let him know he might not want to refer his patients there if he really wants the results of these tests as she hasn't had them yet thanks to Tower Radiology. The sad part is my parents (especially my mother) is the one who suffers for this incompetence. The doctor clearly wanted these tests done and her diagnosis and/or treatment are being delayed.
