    Customer service was awful. I'm not sure if today was a bad day for the MRI office but I was highly disappointed in there service today.

In the past at a larger radiology place in Waldorf, I've been able to schedule two exams for one visit. However I was told this was not an option so I scheduled the one I thought was the most urgent first. Tech could not start the IV after a few tries which was fine. However when I returned for the next MRI a few days later I was told the exam was marked as incomplete Siri the fact the last tech could not get the IV in for the dye. The tech performing the next MRI was able to get the IV and finish the first MRI and second. Days later and I still have no report from either exam. I have no problem with the techs performing the MRIs, they seemed to do the best they could with what appeared to be limited help. However, Tower seems to have no sense of urgency. I went with Tower because they could get me in sooner. However this has not made a difference and at this point I should have just went with another imaging spot. The patient portal is also bootleg. I will absolutely never go here again. I will stick with another bigger name radiology company that has moved into a brand new building. This place may be good for routine imaging, this maybe's good spot but I absolutely would not recommend for an urgent concern.

I don't think I would want to deal with how unprofessional this whole process was anymore so I plan on finding a professional radiology location in all aspects in the future. I would drive 3 hours to a new location before coming back here. The icing on the cake was hearing the front desk complain about being at work and wanting to go home, along with the trash music playing in the waiting area. Just unbelievable. Some customers are coming here for scans and checks for possible cancer and this is who we're working with? Here are more details. My lab orders were faxed TWICE and they did not receive them. Fix your fax machine! Secondly, I called the day before to make sure my appointment was set and to ask how to prepare for it. She was so short with me on the phone, and said instructions were emailed to me. NO they were NOT! She sent the email to me "again" and that was the first email I received. I asked how much water I needed to drink and she said in a short tone "just make sure you're hydrated". Also, patients shouldn't have to greet YOU when they come into the office. You're the front office staff and need to speak up and greet the patients! Avoid this location unless you want an awful experience! I'm not sure who manages this location but your front office staff needs more training!

    I arrived for my 1 pm appointment for an MRI. Checking in at 12:40 as instructed. While checking in…read moreI was told that I was scheduled in a waiting room. And they didn't know how long the wait would be. I was walked down to the 1st floor. When I asked why I was scheduled for a waiting room? I was asked if I confirmed my appointment? Yes, was my response. I did some online. Then it was told to me, "because you scheduled online you scheduled wrong." I clarified that I scheduled with a live rep when I scheduled a week prior to my appointment. Once downstairs I received more lack luster customer service when I was told, "the MRI machine is down. A tech is working on it but we don't know how long it will take." I then explained that there should've been a phone call in advance to explain the downed machine with an offer to reschedule. I received no apology or semblance of sympathy. When I asked about possibly rescheduling there was no appointment for at least 2 more weeks. As I stood making my decision I overheard another representative checking in another patient say to her, "I'm sorry. The technician is at lunch and won't be back until 1:30 pm. Would you like to wait? It's 12:52 now." . My disbelief at the "customer service" of this place is hard to describe. No one hopes to be off work and be met with this. I've been to this location before for a different service and it was pleasant. But the reps must be full from last night's dinner and unable to tap into their "holiday cheer" as I sit here and listen to Christmas music while the lobby fills with patients trying to utilize their patience.

Six months later and still no refund of the overcharge. Then I scheduled a procedure for next Monday and this morning I got a message that they were going to change my appointment to over a month later because my doctor had an August date on the form. I called them back and told them not to change it until I could talk with my doctor which I did only to find that they gave away my scheduled time to someone else and now I have to be there four days later a 6:30 AM. Do yourself a favor and drive to Georgetown instead.
