Ran by a bunch of clowns really. I signed my lease under the impression of a certain standard of living, only to discover that the management team intentionally withheld information regarding major construction projects during the signing process. This construction began in April 2025 and remains ongoing over a year later. During this time, residents have been paying full price for a shell of an apartment; the dog park, grill areas, and private patios have been completely unusable since the day work started. Throughout this entire period, there has been a total vacuum of communication. I have received zero construction updates. I'm not sure if TPM has the experience or brain capacity to successfully navigate situations like this. David's response "oh you'll have to come work at our office space during construction" is ridiculous and laughable. This reflects an uneducated person at their highest, so I don't blame him just his circumstances. Do better david lol David Levlon and John Martin have been specifically instrumental in this failure. Their handling of my property's issues has been characterized by a staggering level of inadequacy. My experience has included a 48-hour lockout due to their clerical errors and a complete disregard for resident safety by allowing unauthorized individuals access to the site (construction staff have written access codes onto the property in sharpie resulting in break ins). The financial unprofessionalism is equally appalling. Management actually demanded that I spend thousands of dollars on custom blinds (but why not the home owner buy these? Wild). Perhaps most unprofessional of all was the response to my legitimate grievances. John Martin explicitly stated that he instructed his team to stop contacting me after I raised multiple concerns regarding the loss of natural light and amenities. Choosing to silence a tenant rather than address a lack of habitability is a coward's approach to management, but mirrors rat behavior which reconciles with TPM. Stay away from these greedy pigs. Where do I start? I've been waiting 3 years to write this. If you like living with rats and being charged $100 for every single thing you do then this is the place for you. I've been renting for 23 years and I have NEVER experienced such terrible customer service. Yes we lived in an older home, but your solution to living with RATS, not mice, RATS, was a few traps??? I had to file a complaint with the TX health department to get any action taken. Not to mention when our ice machine, dishwasher, electric doggy door, and fridge all broke they continued to tell us it was a "perk" and there was nothing they could do. I'm sorry but when you are paying $3,000 a month PLUS every month on time you expect things to work. I will never rent through this company again. Worst 3 years of my life. Everything is great as long as you don't need anything from them. But as soon as you start asking them for maintenance it all starts going down hill. Their vendors miss multiple appointments in a row and the management company doesn't do anything to rectify. "It's the tenant's responsibility". Then there is a complete lack of communication in the maintenance team. One person responds with one plan of action, but zero follow through. Then a few days later another person responds with a completely different plan of action. When you point this out there is no accountability just excuses and complaints about how they have too many work orders that they have to work with. To top it off their "benefits package" is BS it's just a money grab. There are zero benefits it's just a way for them to pad their pockets. read more

DO NOT BECOME A TENANT TO THESE PEOPLE! The Property Manager is extremely rude and hates when someone tries to hold them accountable for their failures. They'll try to charge you over the moon for repairs to a home where they hire individuals that smell, and look like they've been working in trash all day. Have some class and respect for the work you do when entering someone's home. I have asked multiple times for a FULL itemized receipt of all work necessary to be completed on the home since I have moved out and we're over a week into our communications when suddenly their worker that is involved in the case is now out on PTO and suddenly no one else at Tower Properties can assist me, even the Property Manager! I will say, if you find a nice property within their portfolio, make sure you won't need any maintenance work, because if you do, they'll try to blame you for the work when they don't even do their job to fix it right the first time! They won't answer calls or resolve your issue in a timely manner. They will stream roll you into doing things their way rather than mutually working together. So I guess now I have to wait ANOTHER WEEK for this person to come back from PTO to get any actionable steps to move forward. It is wild to me how they conduct business and it's no surprise that others have experienced similar situations. Extremely disappointing. read more

Tower has refunded my friend 100% of their deposit. While it took too long under the circumstances, I am happy they got this part right.

Be wary of renting through TPM or utilizing them as a landlord. Below are a few things we encountered during our 14-month lease. - Maintenance never fixed our shower leak after multiple communications which resulted in mold. - A fee was added to our rent that we never agreed to after they updated their system. - Money was taken from our deposit that we were later refunded over errors and oversights (including the mold caused by their neglect) - The gate to enter our complex was replaced with a new code and fobs we were never given. I had to contact our HOA as a renter as TPM wasn't aware of the change and was unhelpful after we notified them. - It's hard to reach anyone on the phone and when they did pick up were rude and unprofessional. Overall, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for property management services. It's not worth the headache. read more

YIKES! Would not recommend renting here... very unpleasant experience. We hired professional cleaners after we moved out, and they still took our entire (several thousand dollar) security deposit. Then, they emailed us a month later letting us know they were demanding additional $170 in funds because the grout was dirty and peeling? Okay... sounds like regular wear and tear to me. Anyway, we got a money order and mailed it in to their office. Surprise surprise, it was "never received." I'm not saying they received it, cashed it, and told us they didn't, but I also am not saying I trust them to be honest about it. Anyway, after weeks of back and forth and many pestering emails from their end, I brought a check in person as requested by their accounting team. I go to bring the check at 10 AM, and they were not even present at the office or answering the phone. Truly absurd. Finally this ordeal is over. What a scummy company. If you want to avoid being ripped off, don't rent with them. Period. read more

When I applied for a rental property it did not state that you could not have any bankruptcy on the application. I've always known you can't have an open bankruptcy and would have never applied if it was stated on the website. To get a cheeky remark and asked by Abigail if I called and specifically ask about a bankruptcy was just rude. If you stated it on your credit criteria people wouldn't waste $225 dollar. The bankruptcy was almost 4 years ago due to Covid. read more

People be aware, this company forces you on paper to take negative reviews off sites before they agree to let you do FF your lease early! The landlord was sued and most likely they are next! They charge you for maintenance when you did not have anything to do with the issue for which maintenance was called in and then they keep adding fees to your ledger to try to evict you which they will be sued for fraud, breach of co tract, violation of Texas property codes. The house we moved in had so dirty I was sickened. There are holes and stains in the carpet, nails sticking out of the walls, broken blinds, broken dishwasher, and was filthy- covered in dog hair (dog hair was even in the paint touch ups on the wall several feet off the ground) We get charged for random things and when we look into it and tell them we researched it all of a sudden they agree it was an error. Why don't they know what and why they are charging us for!? Maybe it's just our guy Da____ but it's been several months and it's not getting better. The standard of living to them is incredibly low. The maintenance man even told me he did a walk through on the house before we moved in.... that is how i know the standard is low to this company. Im sure they will take our entire security deposit, claiming we ruined the carpets, wall.... these people don't work as if they are dealing with friends or family, just out for money. When I complained i was made to feel like a bother and waited so long for a resolution, which really never happened. They sent someone to clean the carpets and fix the dishwasher, that's it. But they dropped off a silly gift package so i should forget about all that right? Positive note: we were in the midst of the hottest damn day of the summer when the AC went out. My 2 kiddos and i were miserable. Once we made the claim to Tower Prop that is broken, some1 was out that same day to fix it. I was truely thankful for that. read more

We've been living in this house for 3 days with 1 working faucet (of 4 in the house), no hot water at all in the master, an oven INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND EGGS, half working outlets, no working microwave, half the burners on the stove not working, and a few other things. Maintenance guy who came by this morning said he'd come back to replace the faucets and fix the issue but never did and was not responsive to texts or calls. We have put in work orders to which we get responses that only say they'll put us in contact with another person or company who will schedule fixing these issues. They also put that a washer and dryer would be provided to us in the lease but we have yet to hear back when they might be installed. Please tell me how all this is possible. We are paying HUNDREDS of dollars over the original asking rental price (which was already hundreds of dollars over the average for the area/neighborhood) for us to be living with NO WATER and a bug infestation.... No way I could ever recommend this company and I've only been here 3 days. read more

I was charged multiple late fees but I paid in advance, so I never paid "late". I had to request that they correct these errors. They also sporadically uploaded water bills to their portal that were due immediately on random days. These water bills did not follow a reasonable or predictable schedule, so I always kept a prepaid balance of extra money paid months in advance to cover these bills. Never was this extra money not enough to cover the water bills or rent. Additionally, they asked to show the property 45 days before I moved out which seems like an excessive time period to have so many realtors and strangers who did not wear a mask during the pandemic barge through my home. Don't waste your time listing your rental with them. They DO NOT SHOW properties on weekends! They told a potential tenant to get another realtor to show the property. That was on a weekend. They stated that the market in austin is slow and convinced us to keep dropping our price down. That was a waste of time and money. read more
