Browsed this small but heavily inventoried paint store in Weston, FL, searching for a certain colored white touch up wall paint. They had a ton of colored paint sample strips for an exact match. The employee immediately assisted me in this paint quest. I really need to find a smaller paint can. Plenty of painting accessories offered like blue tape, brushes and pro patch. This store would be perfect for people first buying a house or doing big renovations. Benjamin Moore paints is a huge reputable name brand.

Have you ever gotten a cold vibe walking unto a paint store? Well, that won't happen here. The…read morerepresentative welcomed me and was kind in answering my questions. I was looking for swatches and asking questions about different whites. I'm planning a trip back for samples now that I've narrowed it down to two. I've learned so much when it comes to lighting and undertones. This is going to be my go to spot for paint from now on.

OMG... this place has gone down the tubes! My 26-year-old high-end manufacturing business has used…read morethem in the past with success but something has changed over there. We placed an order for $338 worth of custom-cut strips of plastic. We ordered this from them in the past. They were given the exact dimensions to cut in a drawing. The communication this time around was deplorable. There is complete apathy there. Finally, when the order was ready we picked it up. They would not insert into our application because the dimensions were off. They came here to pick them up, only because I asked them to, and then they took an extended period of time to fix them knowing were behind on our deadline thanks to them. They delivered the strips back and we were horrified. They tried to fix them by grinding them down. It was a completely third-world rig. Literally, you saw grind marks all over them. They didn't fit once again. This is a company that is supposed to have machines that can do modern work like CNC and laser cutting. I tried more times than I could remember and have the emails to prove it to get anyone there to accept responsibility and to fix the problem. I left many, many messages for the owner and NOBODY ever called us back. There is a girl that answers the phone, but you cannot get past her. You could tell when talking to her that she felt bad because she was stuck in the middle. We will never do business with this company again after finding ALRO Plastics who delivered a flawless job. I placed a claim with Bank of America and it was denied. I am laughing because they put the effort to send our bank paperwork yet their spineless owner would not call back. What kind of a man is that? I am still shaking my head as to why the bank would deny a claim when I sent them all of the proof of our email correspondence showing they completely ignored us and did not rectify the problem. BOA denied a claim because they provided our bank copies of the invoice and signature that we ordered them... seriously??? This is such the typical service in Miami and why we try to purchase outside of this swamp! Happily, we threw away the useless strips of plastic in the garbage! They beat us for $338 dollars but how much money will they lose when others read this? If they even bother replying, they have no defense because all of our employees are witnesses!!!

In addition a very nice young man by the name of Jonathan Pedroso also went out of his way to ensure that I felt happy with the end results. He recommended Richard's Hardware. I am really glad he did because I was never aware of this business. I liked the sign on their front door saying they are awesome. It gave a good impression. It turned out to be true. Jeanine greeted me with a huge smile. I told her my story and she asked Dale if he could help. I looked around for maybe 90 seconds and he already put the key on. It was really amazing. I wanted to make a purchase but really couldn't find anything I needed. It didn't matter. They were just happy to help. I highly recommend Richard's for those hard to find things the big box stores don't carry. So my sprinkler timer went out months ago, and I do mean many months ago. Thank God we had lots of…read morerain or my lawn would be badly parched. When it initially konked out I did what every other imp with half a brain would do, I went to HomeDepot. But Home Depot only had 3 models which only one looked like the one I had, but I tried three of the same model and none of them worked properly. No one at Home Depot could give me a straight answer much less correct advise. The problem is the model number was no longer on the timer because it was so old, the paper label with the model number wore out. Anyway once I figured out that the Home Depot employees are probably DeVry Grads, I decided to call the tech department of Intermatic, the company which manufactures the timers. Once I explained to the dude on the phone my sprinkler setup and that it draws from a lake, he immediately knew which model I needed. I checked Amazon and it was about $95, so I decided to see if I could get it locally, thats when I found Ace Pump and Supply(APS). APS had it for $117.20 online, even better they were only 10 minutes away. But when I arrived it was a whole different story. Once I told dude behind the counter which model I needed, he went and retrieved the model and started typing a bunch of mumbo jumbo on the computer, then he said $137.00. As of note, there's no price tag on the unit. I was like Que¿, so I said, "why does your website say $117.00"? Not only that but all of the online prices are plus or minus $100. Dude started fumbling over his words and then said the extra $20 is for shipping. Shipping???????, Que¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ I started to wonder if this DeVry grad thinks I'm a DeVry grad? So I said, "dude, it cost $20 for you to hand it to me across the counter? Dude kept bumbling over his words. I just walked out, and some other dude who was licking his fingers after eating some kind of fodder swiftly took the timer off the counter. I called when I left and asked to talk to a manager, but I know the girl on the phone just funneled me to the same jag-offs at the counter. The Jag-off pretending to be the manager told me their prices go up and down in the store and its better to order online lolol. I'll tell you what's going on, they don't have set prices, so they price their products depending on how you look. Some Car Dealer Auto Part Departments do it too. So anyway I searched for another irrigation supply store and I found SiteOne Landscape Supply in Dania Beach. I bought my timer there for $95 plus tax, I went home and now my sprinklers are working.
