The doctor does not answer any questions and keeps running out of the room like a squirrel. That's why I pay a ton of money each month to Medicare. Dah! Also she doesn't even bother to tell me what type of glaucoma I have. I guess that's none of my business. One person noted that her personality was not too good. I wish I would have read these reviews before going to Tower Clock. They only care about the money. It is run like an assembly line and yes, you will spend the majority of your time in the waiting room. Once you actually get into procedure room you will be even more disappointed. It is a room filled with people on cots with very little privacy. After the procedure they will push you out the door in a wheelchair for your safety and then you will need to come back in 90 minutes to get your pressure checked. (they have people waiting for your cot) I was quoted that my share of this would amount to roughly $8k after insurance. I have now paid over $13k after insurance, and they say I owe another $600. There are charges that they don't bill insurance, so they don't count towards your deductible or your out-of-pocket max, they should make that very clear and add that amount to your quote. Had I realized how much I would be paying after insurance I would have looked at other options. Do your homework and look into other providers, or you will have buyer's remorse like I do. read more

this is the worst place I've ever went to do any type of business. And then, on top of that, they messed with my eyes. There are too many things to explain what happened to me. Bottom line is. after my insurance paid out of pocket, I'm close to $10,000 and I could see better with my $200 pair of glasses then I can now and when you complain about it they just wanna bring you back in charge you some more money and do another surgery of some sort would never go back to Tower clock again. Long wait times! Dr. K is not professional. He brushes off any questions from the patient and caused my mil to have 2 cornea transplants, eventually losing most of her sight. He actually called me after leaving a previous unfavorable review about a 3 hour wait time, threatening to call his lawyer, and to not treat my mil if I didn't take it down! Very frustrated! Had an appt three weeks ago at 3:30. Showed up at 3:15 for them to tell me the Dr. was running 20 minutes behind. No big deal. After 30 minutes I ask how much longer. She tells me he's still an hour behind. What? Had an appt today at 2:30. Called at 2:10 to see if the Dr is on time because I have to leave work again just like last time. I was told he is on time. Get there at 2:25 sit til 3:00 then ask how long? She says they are waiting for a room. 3:15 I ask again. I'm told he's over an hour behind. HOW? I called at 2:10 and was told he was on time. In 20 minutes he was able to become over an hour behind? Stop over booking!! Our time is valuable too! read more

I went to Tower Clock Eye due to have a big mass floater, they recommended cataract surgery. That did not clear up the problem. They said I needed cataract surgery for my right eye, now that eye has a big mass floater. The Doctor did laser the left eye and got most of the floater out, but......My eyes are worse now then before I went in. I hope this can all be rectified. My one star rating is based on what has happened so far. I really would like to change that rating, I will have to wait until after tomorrow's appointment. Wish me luck. read more

I went to get new computer glasses. I went to the Shawano office. The staff and doctor were nice. However, they were not able to make the glasses correctly. The first time, I went into the office with written notes and the specific distance that I wanted built into the glasses. I sit 34 inches from my computer screen so I need that distance built into the lenses to see the screen clearly. The first pair had the distance built in but was hard to see with them. When I asked to have them remade, I gave specific instructions as to the distance that I sit from my screen (34 inches) and another change that I wanted. The person I talked to did not convey the distance to the doctor. Furthermore, the doctor did not have information in the notes from my initial appointment about the distance that I needed built into the lenses. Or they had the information but overlooked it with the rebuild. Either way, the second pair of lenses did not have the distance built in at all. I called to tell them that they need to build in the distance. First, they tried to shuffle me around to different people but I had been specifically told to call the doctor. They left a message with the doctor. I did not hear back regarding this so when I called again, the optician informed me that the doctor was dismissing me as a patient. She said that if they need to make the lenses more than 2 times, it costs them money and they won't do it. She stated that they will refund my money back to me so I will be waiting for that. I called multiple times about this and spoke to many people. No one was knowledgeable about computer glasses. Odd questions like "you want to see 10 feet away?" No, I need the lenses to be set to a distance of 34 inches. Because of Coronavirus, it will be more difficult to find another office and now I don't have glasses for work. So, with basic eyecare needs like glasses, I would not recommend this office. They were not well informed and did not communicate well with each other. read more

Very helpful when ordering my first pair of contacts. Staff was very patient and friendly.

The doctor and technician were very nice, however they double book their appointments and make the patients wait far too long (over a half an hour) in the lobby prior to seeing anyone. Many other patients in the waiting room were complaining about the same service. read more
