I've never had a clothing emergency before until I was called up for an interview, had to order clothes because each store I went to did not have my size in stock, and then needed the suit jacket sleeves shortened so I wouldn't look like a child playing dress-up. I love my dry cleaner! My favorite thing about them is even if I haven't taken anything there in two months, they know my name. This is what community is supposed to be like - we support local, independent business owners and they treat customers like friends. I don't own particularly valuable clothing, and I often dress on the more casual side of "business casual" for work. Hence, I don't bring a lot of items here, but I do bring my professional attire that is "dry clean only." I have never been disappointed by the outcome, and they have been able to remove spots for me, when needed. I have also brought items here for minor mending, such as fixing a fallen hem, and these repairs were completed to my satisfaction. If you are looking for an excellent dry cleaner, I highly recommend Tower Cleaners. I found this place a few years ago and I've been pleased with their excellent job each and every time. I had an old red lether jacket with a large dark stain on the sleeve (I don't know where I got it, it looked like black ink poured on the sleeve) and they cleaned my jacket and now it looks like a brand new one! From the summer linen dresses/shirts to the winter coats, I always depend on their services. Not only their cleaning job is awesome, they also do great alterations. I take all of my dry cleaning items here, so naturally they were my first choice for alterations.I dropped off a pair of pants on a Thursday for a zipper repair. She told me that she would need a week. Fine. I went the following week on Friday afternoon to pick up my pants. When I arrived and gave her my ticket, she said, "Oh, yeah. They were the red pants right?" I replied, "Yes." She then said that she didn't have the right zipper color so she didn't do them. Puzzled I asked why she didn't call. No answer. She asked me when I needed them, and I replied that I needed them yesterday. She assured me that they would be ready that evening. I told her that I worked in the evening, but that I would be in early Saturday morning to pick them up. She agreed and apologized. On Saturday morning about 9am I went to pick up my pants. I handed my ticket to the other owner, and he began looking for them. I looked around, and to my surprise I found my pants wadded up on top of other items that were waiting for alterations. I picked them up, and told the man to stop looking, and that I had found them. He was on the phone with the woman that was supposed to be doing my pants. I calmly explained the situation to him, and he apologized several times. The woman over the phone asked if she could have them done by 12 noon today. After already being treated like I had the past two days, I said no. I haven't decided if I will still be taking my dry cleaning here or not, but I do know for sure that I will not be taking any alterations here. Other cleaners that I have gone to, had employees that only did alterations. Based on the pile of other items that were with my pants, it seems that they can't handle the alterations part of their business. read more

I really like these people. I had an old leather TUMI briefcase that was definatley showing signs of wear - needed a new strap, leather had separated near the zipper etc...I checked with TUMI to see how much it would cost for the repairs - YIKES..I took it to Tower Cleaners just to see if they had any ideas since they do sewing...Left it for a couple days and he checked into it. They repaired the leather strap and the zipper area for a FRACTION of what TUMI would have charged and did Excellent work....Thank You!!!! read more

I have been going to this cleaners since they opened at this location. I do not live in the area but would not go anyplace else. I have not had good results from other cleaners. My son moved and after a while realized his new cleaners did not match up to this place. Always pleasant and my clothes look like new when I get them back. I once took an oriental rug that I found at an estate sale. It was beautiful but was left in a BARN. It was filthy dirty. I paid only $10 for the rug but it was good quality. I had it cleaned here and it LOOKS LIKE NEW. I did not pay for it what it was worth but it is absolutely beautiful and has never gotten so dirty as when I found it. Sometimes I might buy something at Goodwill which needs cleaning. First thing I do is take it here to sanitize it. I love some of my bargains made better by being fresh and clean......
