I believe a one way pass is $2.50. Overall, this hub is super convenient. And you'll have access to at least two hotels. I'm staying at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and having this hub is a big plus! Parking... I have no idea how it works. But I encourage walking and using the Marta. Exercise caution at all times. Well there's an advertisement about picking up a swag bag once you show the Concierge desk your Yelp review... I tried but it seems no one knew anything about this perk or the sign. As you could probably guess, I did not walk away with any HUB swag. Have fun and enjoy life.

There is paid parking in front of the shop, a parking garage across the street, and a few side parking spaces that I noticed during my visit. It's a great spot to meet up with friends. My order was taken by the owner, who recommended the shop's customer favorite sandwich and it did not disappoint. It paired perfectly with my caramel iced coffee, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also love that they have books available for customers to browse and enjoy. As a nice finishing touch, when you leave the coffee shop, you're greeted with a positive message encouraging you to keep grinding. It's a small detail that leaves a lasting impression

When I walked in, I chose to sit at one of the tables to the left near the bar area. I was then asked if I could move and sit at the bar instead. I agreed, even though I had picked that table because that's where I wanted to sit. What made it worse was that neither the original table area nor the bar area I was moved to was clean. The bar still had crumbs and debris on it. If you're going to ask a customer to move to another area, that area should at least be clean and ready for them. The food didn't really help the experience either. My eggs came out cold, and the grits had way too much butter in them. It was honestly so much butter that I didn't enjoy eating them. The biggest issue for me was the service. The restaurant was not busy at all. There were only a few customers there, but my server only checked on me maybe once after bringing my food. I eventually had to ask another employee for my check because I was ready to leave. That employee then had to go find my server. What really stood out was seeing several employees spending a lot of time on their phones while tables were still dirty and customers weren't really being checked on. The overall vibe felt very disengaged, almost like some of the staff just didn't want to be there. I also think management should look at the checkout experience. The handheld payment system immediately asks if you want to tip 18%, 20%, or 25%. I don't have a problem tipping for good service, but I do feel like a tip should reflect the service you actually received. When the basic level of attentiveness, cleanliness, and hospitality isn't there, being prompted for those percentages feels awkward. I also thought it was strange that the restaurant doesn't accept cash. My biggest suggestion to management would be to get back to the basics. Make sure tables are clean before seating customers, make sure food is served at the right temperature, have servers actually check on their tables, and limit the phone use while customers are there. Pancake Social has a good concept and a good location, but customer service matters just as much as the food. There were barely any customers there during my visit, so this really should have been an easy opportunity to provide good, attentive service. Instead, I left feeling like the staff just wasn't that interested in the customer experience. Hopefully management takes feedback like this seriously and works on some of these issues.
