When I reached out to discuss correction I was received with attitude and criticism. When I went in to get my hair corrected, I was further met with attitude, disrespect, and ultimately disappointment. Furthermore, The business owner only wants cash but doesn't tell you that up front. She waited until she was rinsing out my color to tell me she only accepted cash. What they use the cash for is unknown, the salon is dirty and unkept, the bathroom never has hand soap, and the number of times my stylist picked up a hairbrush full of someone else's hair and used it on me made me sick. Not reliable, not hospitable, and not worth your time or money.

I had already used Christy for my infamous Octopus haircut at her old studio Lettem Look, but she moved to OM on the Westside closer to me. She's a whiz with layering cuts, balayage, blonding, highlights, baby lights, and curtain bangs, but today I was just there for a maintenance haircut as my layers have grown out and I needed my undercut refreshed. She was sweet enough to also treat my kids to a hair trim and cut. I agreed because I wanted to take pictures and show you how she cuts and washes. Obviously as the only adults there, it's hard to showcase the stylist cutting on your own hair. Haircuts are $50 for my mid back length but she's currently running a special for new clients only for June/July 2022. Take advantage when you can because she's worth that and more! During the consultation, I showed him TWO photos of the color I wanted so I don't understand why he did not deliver! I have waist length hair, and I understood fully that the process was going to be lengthy. He gave me some cock and bull story about foiling and rings, and the history of my hair, YET he failed to do what he told me he was going to do. I could only deduce that he did not to spend the time correcting my hair color. He masked it by just coloring it with a dark color! I left Romie's crying! I told Romeo that he did not color it the col r I asked for! It was NOT what I asked for! He DID NOT CARE for my HAIR! He charged me $150.00! Again, not listening to me. He just wanted me to leave. Believe me, I did leave, and I am never returning! I now have to find another colorist who can fix Romeo and Romie's mess. It is clear to me that he lacks the skill to be a true colorist, a true professional! He is very lazy, and is just not up to the task to do his job.

A girl greeted me after cleaning up her station. I never caught her name. I sat down and we went right in for it. I described what I wanted done and she complied. I wanted an above the shoulder cut with a little extra length through the front and some layers through the back. Perfect cut. I left with wet hair (which I know is a big mistake) but when I got home and my hair was dry and styled it was perfect. I paid nine dollars. I forgot to show my military ID. But it was a fair price with what I got.

As I was browsing through Yelp, I came across this salon and decided to give it a go. Upon entrance, I was immediately greeted and was impressed with the layout of the salon. There's ample amount of seating and it's quite spacious. I only had to wait a few minutes on their plush couch and could've easily fallen asleep. Towards the back of the room, there was a nail station and hair washing stations. This location is under new management so they're trying to break any stigmas that might've been there before. Trucco plans to eventually expand into a full service salon such as makeup but they're taking it one step at a time. I was super happy with my haircut and the blending for my hairstyle came out awesome. I also appreciatte a pre and post wash. Added bonus was the use of tea tree products when getting my hair washed. They're all about customer service and I felt appreciatted. I've already told a few folks and happy to say they offer student and military discounts!
