Nothing but positive feedback from me, specifically with Spencer. This review is coming from someone, who visited Wailea Tourneau - Bucherer 4 years ago. When I initially visited this location, I had actually called in and spoke to Spencer. Upon speaking to Spencer, he made me aware of the shortage of watches, but that he would try to accommodate me. During my first visit to Wailea, no watch was offered, but I was greeted with friendly faces and left with a positive feeling that at some point they would call me. I came back to Wailea a year later, and unfortunately nothing was offered in that visit either, but at this point I had already accumulated several of the watches that were on my list. Fast forward to a few months ago, I called Spencer once again, spoke to him and to my surprise he remembered me.. mind you, this location gets bombarded with tourist every day. So this was a pleasant surprise. I had advised him that a lot of the pieces I was requesting before, I have already purchased. But I had 2 watches I was looking for this year, to add to my growing collection. I told him id be back in town during Memorial Day weekend. Here we are today, and a few days before landing Spencer gave me a call, telling me that the piece I requested will be available. I was truly surprised, happy and excited to get this new piece. Spencer went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great visit. I was joined by my daughter, whom he brought out some gifts for. Don't bother... It was my husband's birthday. We just had a great lunch at Mama's Fish House. We decided to stop by Wailea shops to do a little shopping. We love watches. We have 23 watches between us. Rolex, Patek Philippe, Panerai, Brietling, Cartier, Omega, Tiffany etc. I told my husband I'll meet him at this store since I wanted to get my wedding rings and jewelry cleaned at Tiffany. I walked in and my husband was looking at the CPO Rolex and liked one of the watches. The salesman (middle-aged Asian man wearing glasses and signature loafers) was rude. He didn't even want to be closed to me or my husband and really didn't want to sell. I am not sure why he even works there. Oh well. We stopped at Tourneau and were shocked that they only had 3 Rolexes for sale. They have a great selection of watches that you're able to try on and "experience". While I was trying on some watches I mentioned to them I was really in the market for a Milgauss and they said they could take my name down in case they get one while I'm on the island. We all understand the "shortage" of watches being allocated at the end of the day, not everyone is going to get a watch on the spot and it's not on the sales person to decide/allocate. Christy Sweeney took the time to help me out, got my name on a waitlist, showed me time pieces that would best fit me based on my lifestyle. I have purchased a few Rolex watches from local ADs (in Los Angeles), and I have been on the waiting list for a few years, but I haven't had success with LA dealers. While I was in Maui, I decided to stop by to see if they had any Rolex watches available. As was expected, only the exhibit items were on display, and the stock was low. Casey, who greeted me, asked what I was looking for and asked that I leave my name and phone number. I left the store without any hope and pretty much forgot about it.
