The company does have a caveat in the estimate that some shrinkage, twisting, warping, and cracking may occur. We aren't concerned about the numerous cosmetic cracks, but the deep ones are too much of a head start for deterioration and should be replaced. We are being ghosted by Damien after several attempts over the past 30 days to resolve the situation.
